After LDAP failure rebuild I cannot turn on Wiki for group

Our LDAP database died today so I converted the Open Directory Master to Standalone then back to an Open Directory Master and rebuilt our users and groups. No settings were changed in the Web section of the server. But now I cannot choose anything from WorkGroup Manager -> (Group) -> Basic -> Enable the following services for this group on: It only offers me "(None)" and not our site.
I removed the site from the Web settings and made a new one, still the same behavior.
I feel like I'm missing something obvious, can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you rebuilt the LDAP and ensured the UIDs are the same for groups as before, it seems rebuilding the connection with web service is not complete.
I have had to do the following after some upgrades:
If you have your groups listed in the website under Web Services /Services for Groups then remove them, restart web service (or teams), reinstall the groups in the Services for Groups and again restart web service. Then Enable the services for each group in WGM.

I am guessing you mean you cannot set the item in Settings > General > Touch ID & Passcode > Touch ID > iTunes & App Store.
Might the App Store be restricted? Check Settings > General > Restrictions

After I redact once, I cannot turn off the redaction feature.

It worked fine last week. I have Acrobat Pro XI subscription. For example, in a five line document, if I want to redact line 1 and 2 and then stop redacting, I can't. The feature stays on for all lines. if I put my cursor on line 3 or 4, that will get redacted after I press apply redactions. I want to stop applying redactions after I finish line 2 but mark for redactions stays on.

Cannot turn on notifications for Google app

I want to make use of the new Google Now reminders feature that's part of the Google app. However, when I try to use it, it says notifications must be enabled for it to work. But when I go to the notification center in the settings app, Google is not in the list, so I cannot enable the notifications.
I tried removing the Google app and re-adding it, but this didn't help. Is there any way to add Google to the list of apps in the notification center?

Never mind - it appeared in Notification Center on its own after an hour or so!

I have the same problem.... and it all started straight after the last and latest ios update. Have done all the resets on the phone.... have just competed a full reset through itunes.... and still it does not work. THe same problem is also happening with some other apps.

I have an ipod touch that i would like to restore to factory settings. Having said that the ipod is locked for over 1,000 minutes and i do not know the password. I know the trick of holding down the lock button and home button at the same time until the "Connect to iTunes" message pops up, but the lock button on my ipod does not work. If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Cannot select proper domain for group services

Hello-
I have a working LDAP/Mail/WWW setup with all OS X servers. I'm trying to setup group services (mailing lists in particular) on our domain. I have created a group, when when I go to the "Enable the following services for this group on" dropdown, I don't see the domain I'm looking for. I see all kinds of other ones (about 50) that we do web hosting for.
Anyone know why I can't see my domain?

After more oddities, I believe to have it fixed.
Deleting and re-creating the Sites in ServerAdmin did make the hosted sites selectable as wiki servers, however the choice didn't stick.
The system log gave me this at every save operation in the Web Services Module in ServerAdmin:

I believe the Global UID of the webservices in the server's apple-serviceinfo LDAP attribute was never updated from a move of the server to newer hardware and an OD merge operation.
I am not sure which of my actions lead to success and I am not free to experiment, but here is what I did:
Upgraded apache from v.1.3 to v.2.2 in the WebServices Module
Located the apple-serviceinfo attribute for the $FQDN using Inspector in WorkGroupManager
located a custom port assignment (8008 for an old virtualhost) and changed it to 80
deleted all virtualhosts in ServerAdmin
recreated all virtualhosts in ServerAdmin using FQDN in servername and description
enabled Collaboration Services on all virtualhosts
Re-enabled the new virtualhosts as wikiservers for their respective groups
The auto-created GUID (global identifier) of the server is:

LDAP Realm: One Directory to Users and One for Groups?

I'm trying to use LDAP for authentication of users accessing WLS.510
do all the users to be authenticated have to be in a single sub-directory?
We were hoping to let WLS look in several sub-directories for users.
i.e. store users of customer A in directory /ourcompany/custA/endusers
and store users of customer B in diectory /ourcompany/custB/endusers
is this possible?

DNs because we cannot use ',' and ';' is kinda standard way to
seperate 2 entries, just like CLASSPATH)

Hi, I recently changed my windows from XP to 7. I usually use the LAN to access internet, but realised after switching to Windows7 I cannot turn on the wireless capability (this is what it says to do on troubleshooting). Restart the laptop and then press F9 key and check. Kindly check does the wireless lan card detect in device manager.

You will need to hold the pause/play button for about 5 seconds. This only works from the main menu. You can jump to the main menu by holding the menu button for a few seconds.

I cannot turn contacts on in icloud to sync them to a new phone

I am in process of syncing to a new phone using icloud for contacts calendars etc and it will not sync contacts. I cannot access Mail Contacts Calendars folder as it ejects me immediately and I cannot turn icloud on for contacts as it kicks me out as soon as I click on 'merge'. It hasnt synced any messages either. Calendars have been synced Ok though.

I let ATT&T talk me into an iphone.......refurbished.......$49.00 Ok fine. The computer part worked fine, set it up with itunes on the desk top computer.... no problems. Tried to then do apps with laptop to find out no can do - Ok fine.
Then refurbished phone goes down - replace with brand new phone and set it up on itunes with the laptop........ I get the same 1/2 tone screen as mentioned initially on BOTH computers now. Both are authorized (both running Windows). Tried the change the restrictions button from OFF to ON.......... itunes notices the difference and starts copying apps........ then starts removing apps I freak and stop.
There probably were some differences between the original phone apps and the new phone - should I have allowed this to continue?
Any other suggestions?

Cannot turn on icloud backup after downgrade to iOS 7.1.2

I own an iPhone 4S which I upgraded to iOS 8 on 21st September. The iphone and most of applications (even phone) crashed all the time so I decide to downgrade to 7.1.2 after following instructions found in these communities. I did it just yesterday.
Now I cannot turn on iCloud Backup to my iPhone. The iCloud drive of course disappeared from Settings > iCloud, however it's still visible when I access the iCould in web. Moreover in iCloud web interface my iPhone appears as running iOS 8 and X Yosemite which is not true. My iPhone has 7.1.2 iOS.
I tried to erase my iPhone and restore it from a backup I made yesterday but I have the same issue: iCloud could not be enabled. It was enabled finally after hard reset but when I select "Backup now" the app crashes and throw me in the Home Screen. I see a message: this iPhone has never been backed up on iCloud and the last backup could not be completed.
Please help!!!!!! I want to be able to have iCloud Backup (most important settings and contacts, sms etc.) as I did usually before upgrading to iOS 8 and downgraded to 7.1.2.

Been experiencing the same problem, finally fix it by deleting your old iCloud backup from iOS 8.
Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage > Click on your device name > Scroll down to bottom > Delete this backup.
Then try to turn on the iCloud Backup setting toggle again.

We've an article that provides the following troubleshooting steps that may help stabilize your iPhone.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
