After loading firefox on workstation, I am no longer able to use the internet on my laptop or kindle

We have a wireless connection and ever since I downloaded firefox on my workstation I can not use the internet on my laptop or kindle. Do I need to disable or enable something?

Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, restart the notebook and let Windows fully load. Open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook again.

After loading Lion 10.7 to my Desk Top, I'm no longer able to use my Quicken 07. Is there a work around? All my financial records are in Quicken 07 or do I need to remove Lion 10.7 from my computer

Quicken is a PPC application. They will not work in Lion because Lion no longer supports Rosetta emulation.
1. You can downgrade to Snow Leopard.
2. You can switch to Quicken Essentials.
3. You can purchase a different application that provides similar services for you. Examples are MoneyDance or MYOB.
Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard. I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.

Never heard of that being caused by installing iTunes. Try asking on a Windows forum. This isn't a problem with iTunes or any other Apple product. If you believe it is, uninstall iTunes. If the problem persists, you'll have to seek advice on a Windows forum or contact Microsoft for support.

After installing Firefox 4 Beta I am no longer able to open my Firefox 3. Even when I double click the firefox.exe in the correct progam folder it continues to open Firefox 4 Beta instead of 3.

Opening from the Programs list doesn't work, from the windows search bar doesn't work, and directly opening the Firefox.exe in the correct program folder doesn't work either.
I only got it to open once: upon first installing Firefox 4 Beta I asked it to pin it to the Windows 7 taskbar (it did not). My Firefox 3 program was still pinned to the taskbar however. So through that button I was able to open Firefox 3. But since then I have unpinned Firefox 3 and have pinned the Firefox 4 Beta to the taskbar instead. Now I can't get it to point back to Firefox 3.

what a pain! However, the solution is to simply install the Add-On "Autofill Forms". I'm not certain why Mozilla didn't automatically install the add-on as most of us rely on this feature. It's definitely not a good enough reason to uninstall and reinstall an earlier version and this version has some neat features

I upgraded to version Firefox 19.
CacheViewer 0.8 no longer works. Although I can see the list of files in the viewer, the files cannot be viewed or saved.

There was an older extension named CacheViewer and then a newer one named CacheViewer Continued. I'm assuming you have the latter one. The author's notes indicate there were problems starting in Firefox 18. I'm not sure whether the newest version (still in review) will resolve your issue.

Add-ons are the responsibility of their authors. McAfee does not even put their extension on http://addons.mozilla.org you had to install it from their site.
Disable "McAfee Site Advisor" extension which was just updated to 3.4.0, which probably took it out of the addons block list.
* "Ctrl+Shift+A" > find McAfee Site Advisor and use "Disable", and then restart Firefox.
* Do a Google Search no problem
* It seems that if you re-enable Site Advisor again, and restart Firefox you are okay. At least you know where to look if you get the error again or Google searches slow down.

We are no longer able to use the audio portion for ELPA testing after running apple software updates on snow leopard?

We are in the middle of OAKS TESTING. We had to run the latest Java Updates inorder to do the ELPA portion of our State "OAKS" testing. Since last Friday we cannot consistantly or basically cannot get the audio portion to work. The sound and speech works fine in system preference but no longer for the testing. It was fine last week.
Is there other school district having this issue in the state of Oregon?

When I try to do a "save as" in preview, pages, numbers, etc., there no longer is a save as in the pull down menu. If a go to help and type save as it will pop up under help - what a pain.
Save as is available in Mountain Lion by hitting the Option key while you access the File menu. (It was returned after being eliminated in Lion).
My system is running slow!
How much RAM do you have installed? Mountain Lion is somewhat of a memory hog. And, how much free/empty hard drive space do you have?
And what is Mavericks? Is that going to change everything?
Apple announced a new OS a few days ago; it is supposed to be released in the fall.
When i open softwares, like quickbooks, it tells me that my QB wants to import my contacts.
The capability to sync is a new feature. You don't need to do it. I did not allow any app to import my contacts. You can also turn off other features if you do not like them - simply go through all the System Preference Panes and decide what you want and what you don't want.

Google box obscured after loading Firefox 9.01

After loading firefox 9.01 I can't see any of the letters I type into a Google Search Box, which makes the whole thing completely useless to me. I have tried on IE and it works just fine, so I think the problem must be with Firefox. I need to be able to see what I am typing in.

also, try to boot the computer in [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-hk/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Windows Safe mode with network support] (press F8 on the boot screen) and check firefox again.
(If works in Windows Safe mode then probably you have problem with other software, like security software or maybe a system driver, that is running on your computer).

Just to get the terminology right, neither Spybot Search & Destroy nor Avast Browser Cleanup are supposed to clean viruses. This is what anti-virus software is for.
Avast Browser Cleanup is a tool that serves to delete unwanted toolbars and plug-ins. None of these are viruses.
I haven't heard about Avast Browser Cleanup before, and it's certainly not something I'd have used. In any case, it's not supposed to kill your profile.

Had the same problem and the same message -- was suddenly unable to access icloud apps on my pc, also using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer. After several days of pulling my hair out, decided to try a different browser and was able to get in by using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Hope this helps.

Use Mozilla Firefox to see my emails and use the internet from about one week when I try to see my emails or use the internet it takes me to another wed site or gets freezes I am worry about because I don't know what's going up. Use internet explorer as your default until this issue is resolved. Under Firefox, hotmail live will not load my email folders. No problem using internet explorer.

I have the exact same problem with some apps.
Even when I try some websites in Safari and Chrome that require loading big chunks of data they crash.
Today it crashed in two new places. In the notification center and when I opened newstand app I no longer was able to return to the main window and the dock disappeared.
I have my ipad retina for about three months now but latelly this issue has became more frequent. What should I do?
Should I update to the latest firmware and do what raymond73 said?
Is there a fix for this issue?
Has Apple said anything about this? Because I see that this issue is happening to a lot of people.
Is it possible to downgrade to iOS 6?

I understand you are having an issue selecting the manual duplex print setting for your HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw printer on your Mac computer running 10.10. I'd love to help you with this. Firstly, do you have the most recent HP Printer driver update installed? If not you can download it from the App Store here - HP Printer Drivers v3.1 for OS X Then, I'd recommend removing and re-adding your printer, to make sure you are using the correct driver (10.10 will often default to using an AirPrint driver which does not have a manual duplexing option). Click the Apple icon on your menu bar.Select System Preferences, then Printers and Scanners.Select your M1217 and click the (-) button to remove it.Press the (+), and then select Add Printer or Scanner.
