If you are having issues with your Apple ID and password after a recent update, you may need to manually sign out and sign back in to your Apple ID on your device. You may find the following article helpful:

Hi together and a happy new year to everyone!!
At the moment I have got a serious problem talking about my new iPhone 5s. As it's a cell phone I would like to talk to my friends and family using it. But it seems that this part of the devices is not working anymore as the mic doesn't record anything. If I try to call someone, they can't hear me while I can clearly listen to what they are trying to tell me. So I was wondering whether this is a "phone-app"-problem only or if the mic does not work at all. So I just use to start the "memo"-app, and: It doens't work either. I have no clue what's wrong with the iPhone.
I also tried the update to 7.0.4 and even the reset with the same iOS build, but nothing changed.
So what should I do?
Now, the second problem is that I cannot use Touch-ID anymore. It used to work without any problems but now I does not recognize my finger(s) anymore and I am not able to scan a new finger anymore...that's really annoying. - Tried the same staff here: Update and reset, but nothing changed.
Anyone here who experienced the same problem(s)? Any help or good advice?

Upgrading to V4 has lost all of my Bookmarks, I still have the restore files in my profile data but they will not load, I have tried importing the html backup file too but it didn't work either. How can I get them back?

Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :( -
OMG! No Services and Touch ID no longer working anymore after i upgraded my Iphone 6 from IOS 8.00 to 8.02 today!!!! Any Idea how to fix this?
Go to settings do a reset after that tou will need to enter you Router wireless key Then wait for iPhone to come on. This worked for me on iPhone & ipad. Bsydd uk

After installing ios 5.1 on my iphone 4s, some apps are being closed automatically after a few seconds. I've tried a restart and a total reset. nothing seems to work. Any solutions?
The problem Apps may need to be updated. Or maybe your iTunes account needs to just update itself on your iPhone. To do this, install a free App from the App Store on your iPhone. Tap App Store app on iPhone, select and install a free App. When that is done try the problem Apps to see if they work OK again.

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

My 3G iphone only loads few apps since I updated and the camera doen't work anymore, what now. Tried to reset to original settings and now it won't load apps, even old ones.
What model iPod do you have? If yo have a 2G iPod. many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.

You can put the iPhone that went into water into a plastic baggie with either new silica gel packets (preferred) or raw rice and let it sit for 4 - 5 days. After that time remove the phone and connect it to power for at least a half hour. While it is still connected to power reset it by holding down the power and hold button, wait for the Apple logo then let go of the buttons. Might take several tries. If it revives immediately back it up. -
i had recently followed orders to restore my iPhone 3gs (iOS 6.1) from a question on apple support. However it was working fine before that, it's just that my phone didn't have signal. So it said to restore my iPhone and now it says that the Activation server is temporarily unavailable and when i plugged it into my mac, it said that i ddn't have a sim card installed. What can I do to fix this besides bring it to the store? it also bugs me because this answer was supposed to work but it just messed my phone up even more. After all the updates (itunes 10.6, iphone 5.1, and iphoto) all my photos are suddenly being synced with my iphone. Before I was able to pick the "last 12 months" or last import, or certain album. Now everything is greyed out?
After deleting files, there does not seem much improvement on the disk space.

Time Machine may be using the disk space - if you have Time Machine enabled and not the backup drive connected, TM will make local snapshots, if you have free disk space. See Pondini's webpage for more information: Time Machine - Questions 30. What are Local Snapshots?
I disable these local snapshots on my portable macs, to be sure, how much space really is free.
