Battery charged? If so, reset your phone:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.

Try using a differnt USB cord. Or hold down the power/home button together for 10 to 15 sec or until you see the apple logo and then release, wait for your phone to boot back up.

As peter says, this is evidence that your phone was previously hacked and was re-locked by the upgrade.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can unlock it. There is nothing else we can suggest. -
The nice man Joseph Shen helped me with my google problem on my iPhone and worked for 2 days and now not working again please help me solve this problem were I can retrieve my messages on the I phone when I am not at home on my wi Fi is the only time it works correct. I connect my iphone 4 to the itune. It asked me to download a new update for my phone. After I downloaded the update, the itune no longer able to detect my iphone through the USB. My phone is un-responsive showing the plug into the itune icon only on the screen. Please help.

My iphone 4 16GB went dead when I was driving home. So when I reached my house, I plugged it in to my computer using the iphone connector cable (something that always works). Now my phone is not charging, and is not showing on the computer as charging. It is completely dead and will not turn on. The connector cable works because I tested it using my ipod...
Please help. I don't have the apple support for this phone...Without the apple support that greatly reduces your odds.

My iPhone 5 was a refurbished phone that I received under warranty in November. However, it worked fine until last week when it started turning off at 50% and below (which is the same reason why I had to get this refurbished phone in the first place). But because it immediately turned back on, I thought nothing of it and ignored it. However, my phone went dead two days ago and won't turn back on. I've used two chargers that worked the day of, but it wouldn't charge with either of those and those wouldn't even connect my phone to my laptop. So, thinking and hoping it was both of the cords malfunctioning, I went out and bought another cord. My phone still won't turn on, Apple Support refuses to help in any way because my warranty out, and I'm lost.
Plug it in to a wall outlet so it has power, then do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.

Here's my story
My iPhone 3GS got stolen this week and I had "FindmyiPhone" (iOS 5.0.1) configured, but when I try to locate my iPhone it will show up as "offline".
I've once heared you can trace your iPhone by an EMEI or UPC number or something like that.
Do you guys know more about that so I can trace down my iPhone and can show it the police?

RenzeauI just got my macbook pro stolen last night. the theive opened it and I got the email from findmyiphone. I can see which house it is at, but the thing is cops can't help. Im still watching it on my iphone waiting for them to ope it again so I can see its location. But Im already ****** as $%#% because 911 told me that they cant keep following a missing laptop.
so that was my story, right now my macbook is showing as red also. But keep watching it because they have to turn it on eventually and as long as you check email me when found on icloud.com then you will get an email. Or you can also keep watching on your computer.
So again go on icloud.com and sign in with the itunes account/email that you use on your iphone, you'll see the find my iPhone option there! -
I bought this phone from someone and then I unlocked it using that gevey sim i think -- using it for T-mobile..
I can't get Imessage to work on my phone number because the old number is there and it is grayed out and cannot be edited.
I can use it but not with my phone number, only with email.
Can someone please tell me how to fix this so that I can send with my number?

There is no way of tracking the iPhones just of finding out which SIM cards were used to activate them and if they were activated at all. Court can authorize Apple to release this information to the count. There is no legal way without involving a judge.

Try a Reset, hold together Home and Power buttons for about 15 seconds until iPhone restarts.
