After moving to Lion, I can no longer print multiple different images on a single page as before when I select "copies per page". Is there any way to regain that ability?
In systems prior to "lion" when I wanted to select and print multiple different imagews per page, I could select the number I desired in "copies per page". Now when I select a number in "Copies per page", I get that number of a single image instead of 1 of each each different image. Is there a way around this?

If you just upgraded to Lion, you get 90 days of complimentary support, so don't be bashful. Call 'em. I called Apple support and they resolved this specific issue. We first verified that a newly created Admin account could create and edit Address Book. When it did, we rightly assumed corruption in the Address Book Library files.
Here are the steps from that point.
Back up your Address Book: From Address Book, choose File > Export and choose Export vCard to a desitnation of your choosing.
Close Address Book.
From the Desktop, Hold Option and click Go in the menu at the top of the screen.
Choose Library. If this is not an option, you are not pressing the Option key or you are not an Admin.
Expand the Application Support folder and drag the AddressBook folder to the Trash. Close window.
Open Address Book and import your address book vCard.
Lion has changes that remind me of Windows 2000 where folders are hidden even to Admins. Apple is purposefully hiding files and folders they don't think anyone should be seeing. If you want Admin priviledges you had in Leopard or earlier versions, you need to upgrade to a Root user...highly not recommended. -
I'd like to print an 8x12 and cut it in half to make two 4x12 panorama type pictures. Is there any way to combine two pictures (each cropped to 4x12) into one frame so I can print out the 8x12 and trim it after printing?
To clarify, I want to be able to make a flie I can take to a photo printing place (not for my own printer) so they can print it and I crop it. The place I used to print at used to print an 8"x12" for the same price as 8"x10" (now they may only do 8x10 and I would need to keep the ratio the same so it would be two 3.3"x10" pics on an 8x10"). Any help is veryappreciated!

i just bought a new Macbook Pro and loaded all my info from My old Macbook...now i can't remember for the life of me my Admin Password (which i created 3 years ago)...is there ANY WAY to bypass this on my new Macbook Pro and begin again...?
I assume that you don't have the installation discs, so:
1. Reboot
2. Hold command + s key down after you hear the chime.
3. When you get a text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):
(Type these commands very carefully)
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now
4. You will go through the setup process again, create a new admin account, login to it and then change your existing account password or whatever else you need to do. You can delete the account you made in this process, or not. -

Jailbreaking cannot be discussed on Apple forums., except to point you to the following article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3743 which will let you know why Apple strongly cautions against "jailbreaking".
You could sell your current iPod and buy a new one, which will be able to use iOS 5.

I have done a complete uninstall and re install of iTunes and all related apple programs from my laptop through control panel, add remove programs and also by going through program files and deleting all tracers of any left over folders remove programs may have missed.

My computer broke and I got it fixed. It doesn't say that the hard-drive was replaced, but I can tell my data is gone, including Pages that I bought. Is there any way of getting that without paying for it again?
Or if you purchased Pages as part of iWork on a disk, reinstall from the same disk.

Not in the Safari browser she can't. That is not supported on the iPad. There are other mobile browsers that do have that functionality - one is iCab Mobile.

Can no longer print multiple files from a PDF package
Prior to our upgrade to Acrobat Pro X, we had the ability to print multiple files within a PDF package. We would simply select the files we wanted to print, say print and it would print them all. It no longer does so, although it still allows us to select multiple files and to select ALL from the print menu but then it only sends the first file to the printer.
We have tried it on both Windows XP and Windows 7 and it won't work correctly on either one.
Does anyone have any ideas? This is very frustrating as these packages are created by folks bundling their e-mail messages to send to the fileroom for printing and filing in the official case files. With the old method we were able to quickly print out all the messages without attachments, and then would only have to individually print those messages that had attachments. As stands now if we get a package with 100 messages in it we will have to select and print each file individually instead of being able to print the 75 without attachments as one print job and then only have to do the seperate handling for the remaining 25 with attachments.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.I'm using windows 7. The Acrobat that came with the Adobe Creative Suit 4 is Adobe Acrobat Pro. When I am on a web site that has a page in PDF I click on the printer icon and the print page comes up but the preview side is blank and will not print the page.

On both computers, I'm running FF 7.0.1, but the problem has been with me on my iMac ever since FF 5. Both computers have the same add-ons, and as far as I can tell all settings are the same as well. But something obviously is limiting the number of pages that are retained in the "go back one page" history. I've searched in vain repeatedly for some setting that might explain the problem. I select "bookmarks", I select "bookmark this page" and nothing happens. Doesnt matter if I am in regular mode, or safe mode.

Now that you mention it, I'm having the exact same problem on Facebook as well, when I play Family Feud.
I wish someone would investigate and post a solution to this problem. No-one from Playlist has responded, and no-one "Officially" from Firefox either.

Since upgrading to Lion I can no longer print to my network printer.
I get the error message "/usr/libexec/cups/filter/rastertospl" via http://localhost:631/printers/Samsung - it's a Samsung ML-1510 laser. Printing works fine from a Windows machine - the printer is attached to a network router, and I connect via WiFi from my MacBook Pro.
This worked perfectly before, now it doesn't, so what has changed in Lion?

I used the printer driver for the Samsung ML-1510 from http://guigo.us/mac/splix/ and, another bout of logouts/logins later printing suddenly magically worked. I don't know if it was this driver alone or the restarts that did it, but I'm not going to break it again to find out.
