After downloading new OS key pad not functioning
Properly. Type in message and it takes several seconds to populate.
Anyone else having same problem or solution?

I do have a questiion. I started the most recent iOS update on my iPhone last night and before it was ever completed a message appeared on my screen. Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

New movies files not working properly

I have a new all in one HP pc with Windows 8. I have completed all pc updates and including latest Java. I have downloaded Itunes 12 and imported my old Itunes library from my network drive. My itunes library was created on an XP system and I still have it mapped to my Network Drive as it is 2TB in size.
The library contents are all fine and everything works. My problem is now any new movies m4v, mp4 which I import does not work. Itunes will upload the files, which then appear in the Home Video section. When I try to add artwork, or move file into 'movies' or even play the film Itunes goes into 'Not Responding' and I have to shut it down from from task menu. This issues only occurs with new movies. New music is fine.
I have tried to use alternative compatibility option none of these work.
Does anybody know how I can get my new movie content to work? btw the files are good as I have tried them on another system and they work just fine.

IOS 6 update = Speaker not working properly

My speaker was fine and I have no reason to believe there are any hardware issues. As soon as I updated my iOS 5.1.1 to the new iOS 6 it stopped working and now I can't listen to music or watch videos on my iPhone unless I insert a headphone!
What's happened and how can this be resolved?

Experiencing similar problems with both me and my wife's iPhone 4S's. My phone's speaker was muffled until I played a song, then it seemed to work ok. My wife's will not work at all except for when you adjust sound settings (e.g. changing the alert sound). Then it works only during the "test" and reverts back to its broken state.
P.S. And yes, I've rebooted both numerous times. This has no obvious affect.

Frozen ipod after new updates, will not recover, error codes 1601 and 1602

i updated my ipod last night, was working fine, turned off, then on again this morning. was working fine this morning for a while, then went completely blank, will not start up, just completely dead. i have tried to restore,several times and get error code 1601, and 1602. have tried restarting my computer,checking for updates, restarting my itunes, using another computer, tried another lead, and everything else suggested by support. it will just not do anything. has anyone got any suggestions, please.

I would suggest that you put your iPod into the recovery mode and restore it. Next time something like this, it is better to start with the more basic troubleshooting steps first before trying to restore. The two easiest are restart and reset.
Try these steps with your touch.
1. Unplug the device from your computer
2. Turn the touch off - hold the Sleep/Wake button down until you see the red slider and turn the device off. Note: this may not work. If not, go to the next step.
3. Start iTunes
4. Hold the Home button down and keep holding it down while you plug your iPod back into your computer.
5. Keep holding the button down until iTunes tells your "that an iPod in Recovery mode has been detected".
6. Let go of the button and follow the on screen instructions to restore the touch.

Master License File update - apps not working properly

Believe it or not, I am replacing an expired license with the master license file on a 9.2 installation. Go figure...
Anyway, I have searched for docs on what needs to be reconfigured and how after replacing the old file and have come up empty. Have run config tool to update Deployment id for both Essbase and Planning but still getting error message in Planning indicating an issue with the license and when opening HBR rules, that it cannot connect to Essbase due to licensing issue. Tried re-registering with Shared Services for both Planning and Essbase, still getting the same errors and log files are not providing much by way of clues.
Other info: License server logs shows no errors. All apps starting successfully.
Does anyone have a doc or experience with this that they can share with me? Do I need to deregister apps? Redeploy the app servers?

There are no virus for an iphone unless it is jailbroken.
For the message - close out of the app, then double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
this reset, might help with your other issues too.

Keypad not working properly on Macbook pro

The key pad on my MacBook Pro does not work all the time and have had to resort to a separate mouse to be able to scroll etc.
Any advice please.

Does it now work only on battery? or using the power supply?
If only on the power supply use a grounded plug.
Otherwise try reseating touchpad cable. Post the size and year of your MBP.

i have a iphone 4,and i like to upgrade to 4.3.1. everytime i download the new update from itunes, once the download finishes it says
"There was a problem downloading the software for the iphone "my iphone name". The network connection timed out,
Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later"
I tried it 5 times today without any results. I made sure each and every time, the download was 100% complete and it even starts to say "processing file" and than that little pop up error comes up.
I have a iphone 4, with 4.2.1. i tunes is 10.1.2.17
any advice?

Smartwatch 2: new update is not working

I've just bought a SW2 last week and i'can't use it. I've been waiting for the 1.6.23 version and i tried again but no change. The phone is connect with the watch, i can change the watchface (just watchfaces with only the hour, if the date must be display, the watch reboot again and again and again.).
In the info of the smartwach app, i can see version of teh app: 1.6.23 and version of the watch: 1.0.B.6.32.
When i touch the menu button of the watch, it reboot again.. It seems there is no firmware in it..
What can i do?

Yes, you will lose all your data stored on the sync server if you reset the sync (recovery) key.

You can find the sync password and the sync key in the password manager on the computer where you originally created that sync account (email).

Authorisation of an old account on a new mac, Password not working, no longer have access to that email address, and security question not working. But I do have my mac authorised! ...is there anyway to copy or get authorisation info off it???

I have got a new Mac, I am trying to share my itues on it as well as my old mac, I have had two itunes accounts in my life, one is current now (this account) one I have not had access to the email for years. Since I have bought music off both accounts, I wish to play it all on both my macs. My Old mac has both accounts Authorised fine and all is good.
My new Mac, I have thios account running fine, but keep getting prompted for the password for my old account, I have no idea what my old password is, I have not had access to that email address for 5 years, and for some strange reason the security question isn't working eaither.
Since I do still have one Mac where it is Authorised, Is there any file I can copy accross or anyway to get the password out of the OSX 10.6.8 for my old account.
Secondly, is there anyway to roll both accounts into just my current one.
