After pairing blue-tooth audio adaptor with iPhone, what next?

I have paired my Logitech bluetooth audio adaptor with my iPhone 4.... the adaptor should convert audio output of my TV into bluetooth signals.... I expect to use an earphone to pick up those signals from my iPhone. But I don't know how to proceed.

Hi Icygator,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • HT201205 no sound after using blue tooth with iphone 5

I have just purchased a 2014 Durango and the Blue Tooth works fine with my Iphone 5.  However, after i leave the vehicle, i have no sound on my phone.  Have tried to restart, turned the blue tooth off, tried playing both a song and a movie to no avail.  Any suggestions?

It sounds like it is still connected.
    Try disconnecting it here:
Settings > Bluetooth > Select the Durango and disconnect.
    If that does not work:
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

  • Not able to pair my sony DR-BTN200 with iPhone 5S

not able to pair my sony DR-BTN200 with iPhone 5S

    Hello rammail2u.
Greetings and thank you for your message,  in order to connect and pair both devices via bluetooth follow the next steps:
    1. Place the Bluetooth device within 1 meter (3 feet)
    2. Press and hold the POWER button for more than 30 seconds while the unit is off.
    3. Make sure that the indicator flashes in blue and red alternately after you release the button.
    4. Perform the pairing procedure on the Bluetooth device to detect the headphones by going to the bluetooth settings of your Iphone 5s.
    5. When the list of detected devices appears on the display, select the model DR-BTN200 to make the connection.
    6. If a passkey input is required on the display of a Bluetooth device, try using “0000” as reference.
NOTE: Every time you want to pair the devices don't forget to press and hold the power button until a blue indicator flashes on the set. The blue indicator means that the headphones are ready to be paired with an external device, also tells you that the bluetooth function is already on.

  • Remove paired blue tooth from Centro

I have been trying out blue tooth earpieces, found one I like (the blue ant Z9i).  How do I delete the remaining paired blue tooth's listed under "all known devices"?  Also, any feedback on the multipoint function of the Z9i would be appreciated.

I hope you don't mind me jumping in, but I'm having the same problem. I've followed the suggestions on this thread, with no luck. Any further suggestions would be appreciated. Sam.

  • Blue tooth and SKYPE on iPhone

It seems the blue tooth feature works with almost everything on the iphone, except SKYPE. Am I missing something or is this the case? If so, is there a remedy?
    Thank you.

    Hello D1011,
Should the developer have chosen to allow for it, the option would be available to download the last version of the app that would be compatible with your device and version of iOS.

The iPad does not support Bluetooth Printers.    Headsets, Speakers, Keyboards, Hands Free Devices, In car Madia centers but not Printers.
To use a printer it must be AirPrint Compatible and be on the same Wifi network as the iPad.

  • Call volume low after using blue tooth

I have an issue that I have not seen a response for.  After nearly 2 years of perfect use, my call volume (that is the sound of a caller's voice) is now too low.  The volume button on the side of the phone is at its peak (when I am on a call).  No water or other debris has gotten into the phone speaker that I can see.  The only think that did happen before this problem is - I had been on a blue tooth call in my car.  I have used this phone with blue tooth for over a year without any problems, but I mention this as it is the only think that I can think of that might have caused this glitch.  It is though the call volume is purposely very low and I thought that the blue tooth use may have caused this.  Any thoughts?

It sounds like it is still connected.
    Try disconnecting it here:
Settings > Bluetooth > Select the Durango and disconnect.
    If that does not work:

Did any one face this issue with new earphones with iPhone 5? if so, what is the solution for this? Can any one help me resolving this issue as I am the extensive user of iPhone 5 with new earphones? • Continued audio issue with iphone

So, I reported on here about a month ago how using headphones with my iPhone was a problem because sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't I was "informed" by some readers that it was a third party headphone issue etc and so forth.
Yet, I've been using the offical headphones since and I'm still having the same issue. SOMETIMES I can't hear audio, sometimes I can. There's no replicatable circumstance that causes it. Restarting it doesn't fix it, and to make matters worse, any time I can't hear through them while making a phone call, I can turn on the iPod and hear everything just fine.
Clearly this is a software issue and it's really leading me to ditching my iPhone. There's no excuse for this.
It's bad enough to have to deal with AT&T's shoddy service (dropped calls, late voicemails, terrible EDGE service) but to have to deal with this on top of it makes me wish for the days of my RAZR.

I have the same problems with my 3GS which is just over 2 years old now.
I have updated to ios5.0.1but there is no improvement. The problems started a couple of months ago (ios4..) but is now getting more frequent.
It seems to crash most often after I open an app that uses location services so I have just turned that off to see over a couple of days if this is the cause.
Often, like yours, the battery is displayed as empty and requires plugging in to restart it and then a few minutes later the battery is displayed as nearly full!
Did you resolve your problems in the end? My next step is to maybe replace the battery or as a last resort buy the new 4GS but I really wanted to wait for the next model before replacing this one.

  • BlueAnt Z9 headset - awesome with iPhone!

I picked up an Apple Bluetooth Headset for the iPhone and found it to be absolutely terrible, a waste of $129. It was staticy, it had poor range, it had weird background noise...I was completely unsatisfied with it other than the tiny size. I've had several other Bluetooth headsets before but I was still on the lookout for a better one. The Jawbone was excellent, but had some minor issues that I didn't care for (issues with the noise cancellation feature, fit issues, etc.). Then I read this review on the BlueAnt Z9 headset over at MyiTablet:
    http://www.myitablet.com/my-itablet-review-blueant-z9-bluetooth-headset-151384.p hp
I decided to pick one up. MyiTablet sells them for $99, a full $30 less than the iPhone headset. It's not quite as sleek or simple as the iPhone's headset, but it's still quite small. I found I actually really liked the size because the buttons are really easily accessible, moreso than on any other headset I've used in the past. The volume adjustment works fine with the iPhone and it paired very easily. One feature I really like is that you can pair up to 3 devices to the Z9 headset, then press the multi-function button to switch over to them. That way if you wanted to swap the headset from using it with your iPhone to using it with, say, your Mac laptop over Bluetooth to chat on Skype or iChat, you don't have to do the whole pairing dance every time. It has a lot of other nice little features, just read the review linked above for more info on those. Oh, it also has great range - I could walk all over my room without any static at all.
Overall I really like it. If you need a new Bluetooth headset or are frustrated with the one you have, you'll probably really enjoy the Z9 headset. It's loads better than the iPhone headset in terms of quality, you can adjust the volume easily, you can swap between Bluetooth sources quickly, and it has great range.

Windows is required to update the firmware in the Headset. I tried unsuccessfully performing the firmware update with Windows XP Pro on my MBP running Parrallels VM. The unit firmware updated without a hitch using an old Wndows machine that I had laying around collecting dust. I did not try the update with Bootcamp, as I do not have my MBP configured to run Windows that way.
I was orginally going to purchase the Apple Headset with my iPhone "iShill" store credit, but have read many reports that the unit was overpriced and had poor performance.
What you wrote solved a question I had. I'm also deciding between the Jawbone and Blueant Z9 but the fact that I have to use a proper Windows machine to do firmware upgrades is a no-go for me unless I can do it via Parallels which according to you experience is negative. I don't have access to a Windows Mac, that is unless I decide to make my MacBook Pro a boot-camp-able machine which would be silly because the only reason to do that would be for the Blueant firmware upgrade.
    Alas!

  • Pairing Blue Tooth that was accidentally "forgotten"

Just a few days ago I tried to pair my iPhone 5 with the bluetooth (Blue Ant Q2) device in my family's car.  When it would not connect I started going through the settings on my iPhone.  I clicked "forget this device".  Now I cannot get it to pair again and there is no list of devices.  My phone will not discover the device either.  Any suggestions.

the device one are trying to pair need to be put in pairing mode/ discovery mode
