After pressing or clicking new tab i am unable to get new tab y so?

Question

i don't know, exactly what happen to my Firefox browser version 3.6.14 , even after pressing new tab or clicking new tab, still new tab is not appearing at the right side of last tab, i have also installed the new tab application referred by the Mozilla Firefox,
plz help me to get out the solution.
