Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.
If none of the above suggestions work, look at this link.

Lets ensure your service device is running in top form! What email account are you using? ( ie, Google, Yahoo, etc) Have you removed and re-added the e-mail address since this occurring?

Have you just created this iTunes Library?
Have you recently added the missing music music from an external hard drive?

In order to sign out of your iCloud account that had a ID change, you would need to change the account back to the original. The reason for that is probably due to the Find my device feature and it needs to verify and if that iCloud account does not exist because of the name change and you cannot sign out. Changing it back is pretty easy and should not ask you to verify but once you change it and sign out, you can change it back to what you want it to be. First check the settings and try all of the options in the [[websites say cookies are blocked]] article.
In addition to the above, another possible cause is the file that stores cookies is corrupt, if that is the case deleting the file should fix the problem. First you need to locate your profile folder, for details of how to do that see the [[profiles]] article. Once you have opened the profile folder, close Firefox and either delete or rename cookies.sqlite, when you restart Firefox that file will be re-created.

There isnt really a way of "fixing" it, everybody has it. There are things you could do to make the battery last a bit longer.
1. Turn of bleutooth, this needs ALOT of battery and is on all the time if you have turned it on
2. Lower the brightness
3. Close Applications properly, if you double click the home button (the only button on the ipad) and get the multitasking tab, hold your finger on one of the apps and press the red button with a white -, this will close COMPLETELY the App, and stops running it on the background. (doesnt delet any saved things etc.... )
4. When you charge your battery, charge it from under the 10% to 100% not half-way etc..., there is a way you could "train" your battery's and by charging it from 0 to 100 you could say your battery gets better.

Just have to give it some time. The activation and verification servers are all slammed right now 'cause of all the people trying to update at the same time. Give it a couple hours (or overnight if you can wait) and it should sort itself out.
