After reloading firefox I have to approve all sights that I go to, how do I fix this problem?
Every time I select a favorite or try to open new web sight a warning pops up asking me if I want to open the selected web page. I have to answer several questions to open it up. I had to reload FireFox, and since then I have had nothing but problems.
Firefox itself does not normally ask you to confirm that you wish to open a website.
It seems likely that you have some other software installed, possibly some part of a suite of security programs, or [[firewalls|firewall]] that is causing this problem. Possibly your security software; or whatever; recognised the original Firefox version, but not the new version. You may need to review the settings.

I have lost my bookmarks.
Bookmarks can appear to be lost when there is a problem with the file that stores the bookmarks, in this case that is the places.sqlite file.
You can check the places.sqlite database file with this extension.

If that didn't help then try to remove all places files in the Firefox profile folder and that includes It is possible temporary SQLite files like places.sqlite-shm and places.sqlite-wal besieds the places.sqlite file.
Remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database from the most recent JSON backup (bookmarks-####-##-##_xxxx_$$.jsonlz4) in the bookmarkbackups folder.
If that didn't work then you can restore the bookmarks from a compressed .jsonlz4 backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
The xxxx in the "bookmarks-####-##-##_xxxx_$$.jsonlz4" name denotes the total number of bookmarks (folders and separators included) stored in the file.

I had to reset my username and password on my computer because I must have hit a wrong key when changing password. Anyway I made a new admin user on my pc and now my iphone will not sync all the way with my itunes. I flashes a message on the screen saying "you do not have the proper privileges" and stops the sync. All of my contacts are gone and all of my google calander is wiped clean. I just want my Iphone to sync now so that I can add contacts again. What can I do? Thank you for your time.

Tried that but did not work. Thank you for the reply. However, I did find the correct thing to do though so wanted to share.
Since on my computer I had to create a new admin account, I had to go into the shortcut properties of Itunes. Then hit Compatibility Tab. Had to check Run as Admin.
After hitting Change settings for all users it worked just fine. -
Firefox prevents me from copying and pasting content from websites. How do I fix this problem?
When I enter this website, there are certain areas that FIrefox will allow me to copy and paste. However, if the content is located within frames, I get a message that indicates that Copy/Cut/Paste options are unavailable in Mozilla and Firefox. Then, the information box asks me if I want more information or to cancel the request. When I ask for more information, the system offers information about altering the preferences; however, those steps don't appear to work for me. Please help.

Right-clicking the story area and using Firefox's Inspect Element feature, I discovered the problem: the site is adding a style rule to block Firefox from selecting text:

Some elements within the main story have a .nocopy class name assigned, which applies a similar rule indirectly. Clearly the site doesn't want you to copy anything! Not sure why they didn't just come out and tell you this. Hmmm...
If you want to work around this "feature", you have three options:
(1) Turn off styles for the page temporarily. You can do this from the View menu.
Tap the Alt key if needed to display the classic menu bar
View menu > Page Style > No Style
Scroll down past all the menus and headings and copy at will.
(2) Use custom style rules to alter the page on each visit. Someone would need to develop this for you, and then you could add them to a file named userContent.css or use the Stylish extension.
(3) Use a script or add-on to alter the page on demand or automatically on each visit. Again, someone would need to create this and then describe how to implement it. -

Good luck finding the solution. I have another posting https://discussions.apple.com/message/25145839#25145839 on this exact same issue, and that is after looking on my own for the solution on the web and on Apple's forum without any luck for a real solution. Having to RESET a device every time I need to clear out old messages from memory sounds to me like an intended pain from Apple to keep pushing iPhone users to purchase additional iCloud backup plans.

I cant seem to download and install the latest iphone software update. I have tried since the release and have been unsuccessful on more than 7 occasions and lost all the data on the process. Anyone have that problem an how do I fix this problem?

Thanks but I have tried doing the above - when I said 7 times I was modest, its more like 15 times.
And I am referring to the 5.1 software update. I dont have wifi so I guess I will have to try that seeing that my husband also has the same problem - he has also tried downloading several times. It always times out en says that the connection is lost but yet there are always an internet connection and a decent signal once it stopped. Think it said error 32052 or something!
I am disappointed because the update includes inprovement on the battery life - did you guys notice any difference? -
iMac Computer using 10.7.5, running iTunes 11.1.5, and using an iPad 2 with os 7.1 . I have over 300 movies in my library and when I share using video on the iPad, the titles covers are all on the wrong movies. How do I fix this?

One thing I also wanted to mention is that the "Users/username/Library" is hidden in Lion and Mountain Lion. You can access it using these steps:

Since I downloaded Maverick, I cannot find my External Hard Drive in the "Finder" area. I have to unplug all the time the hard drive to be recognized by my iMac. How can I fix this problem? Thank You.
Check Finderr->Preferences->General and ensure that HDs are selected for display. If so and they still don't, Reset the NVRAM/PRAM and Reset the SMC, and see if that does the trick.

Filing incoming emails in Mailboxes brings my Mac to a halt
