After restarting the system, WAS for ABAP is not able to connect Database

Hi,
I installed Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP in Local system. After restaring the desktop,I am getting following errors-
1. SAP-Basis System: Initialization DB-Connect Failed, Return Code 000256
2.Database: Database error -10709 at CON
3. Database: > Connection failed (RTE:Database name is missing)
Here, i have not done any thing except restarting the destop. before restart every thing was working fine.
please give me some clue, what may happed to the Application.

You didn't by any chance change machine name? I had a very similar error once when I was forced to rename my machine. Maybe you will find something from this blog helpful:

Losing systemprofile after restarting the system

Hi,
I've been dying to know what's this is, and i don't really get it :
It happened 2 weeks ago, i "stopped" windows, and when i went to the office, the desktop vanished, no apps showing in the apps screen (don't know what it's called). And i got a message something like : "C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop
is no available", but i found a fix, copying all the data from "c:\users" into that folder.
Why it's in two locations, users and in windows profiles ? why i lose the data when i copy the folders again and restart the system ?
I ask for an explanation and the fix to the issue, if someone knows the origin please tell me.
System :
- Windows 8.1 single language x64 (updated from windows 8 single language
- Sony vaio SVF15218SFW
- 4Gb of ram
- Intel i5-3337U

How did you stop windows?
Is your profile setup by a company GPO to log in with a assigned domain/company user name and you want your own personal user?
This works for 8 as well, if you tried this method and your computer is a company with GPO"S set, you will need the system admin login to set the GPO not to Clear the user profile upon logout.
Stop = Shut down (sorry, french pc)
No i don't use a GPO, or a company policy, it's my own pc, I use my email to login, not a local account, Besides I get an error when i reboot : "service Service is not accessible..." something like this, i couldn't read the whole thing and it disappeared

the old account "c:\users\user" into the the new "c:\users\new_user", i don't think it'll resolve the problem, because it reads the profile from config folder in system32.

i get the error that it doesn't exist as a command.
If i'm the only pc user, then i'm the admin, how can i access that "GPO not to Clear the user profile upon logout".

Need Database to be started automatically after restarting the system

I m using oracle 8.1.6 on windows 2000. My company wants me to automate the database i.e whenever the system is restarted then the database should also start automatically.
Do any one have any solution for this?....

Begin by logging on as Administrator. This will give you access to all the Services available in Windows 2000. To load the Services Utility, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, then Services (You may also be able to access it via Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, Services if you enabled Administrative Tools to be displayed on the Start Menu).
Then double click on OracleService<sid> and change the startup type to Auto.

Usually we will get basic tokens to play the game, and if we ran out of the tokens all we need to do is going into "manu" and "setting" selete "dream" and reset that we should be able to continue play the game with same amount of the basic tokens. The one game would not let us to go back to the game. There were msg came out said" game center requires an active connection to the internet"? I didn't feel comfortable because we purchased the game for $1.99 to play for fun and not to gamble. We do have credit card on your file. We don't want to be charged alot of money for something not in our well. I need help to answer the question on the following:
1. Are we able to ever play this game again without going to internet? We don't even know which site to go to, because when we press the ok button nothing else came out to direct us to any area.

Problems with seeing computers on the network map but they are not able to connect with each other

We have 6 HP pavillion Slimline s3620f PCS(Pentium Dual COre ED200) with 10/100 and wireless connections. They are running Windows Vista Home 64. We are also trying to connect a macbook, a laptop with vista 32, and a a mac with win xp running via bootcamp. We upgraded to the WRT160Nv2 for wireless access.
We have the cable modem connected to the router. The router is connected to a switch. On the network map, all connections are working/green(can access internet). Before this, in the vista network map each computer could connect to the other. NOw each computer can only connect to the router and one particular other computer. Each computer lists itself and that one particular other computer and the router. If I look at the full map, all are listed but they cannot connect to each other.
I hope this makes sense. Any suggestions?

Not able to open Enterprise dba console in 10g after changing the system ip

I have installed 10g database on windows 2003 server.
I was able to open the Enterprise manager DB console(EM) after installation. But I changed the IP address of the system and now I m not able to open the Enterprise manager.
Any help will be much appriciated in this regard.

What are the system requirements for Firefox 32.0.3 for Windows?

I have Windows XP SP3. Since installing the latest version of Firefox (32.0.3) I have been unable to use it to access the internet. Nothing happens when I click on the icon. If my system is no longer compatible with this new update, is there anyway I can get Firefox 28 which worked perfectly with my system?

Been the same since Firefox 13.0 with WinXP SP2 (SP3 included) being the minimum Windows.
If you not able to connect with Firefox after an new major version update or install, it may be due to your software Firewall blocking the new Firefox .exe yet may still be allowing the previous version used.

Problem: Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance

I've got problem with EM. When I try to connect to it I get the following error:
Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance. The state of the components are listed below.
Database Instance, Listener and Agent are all green.
Few more information:
OS: Win7 64 bit
-installed loopback adapter. I can ping my computer name (J-PC) without problem and it pings back 10.10.10.10 address.
-I have set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID env variables
-I can login to sqlplus with sysman account
-emctl status dbconsole shows that the EM 11g is running
I've been struggling for some time trying to get EM running as it should, but no luck so far.

Without that info, you won't be able to re-activate the phone. Apple can't/won't help you with this.

I just bought a new Macbook Pro 15" with SSD 256 Gb and its almost a brand-new (the 4th time to use the device) a while ago i was trying to connect to my home wireless network it said that the connection is timed out so i clicked the airport sign on the top it said that your airport is not configured then I restarted the system but it didn't restarted it showed the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel for more than 10min so I tried the force shutdown by pressing the power button till it switched off I waited for 5min then pressed the power button to start or boot the system and again the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel, I waited for more than 20min nothing changed, any solution please?

Thanks a lot i followed the instructions for safe mode (i found out that i was pressing the C button after restarting) i did whats written there but the repair couldn't be performed so in addition i needed to re-formate the HD so i erased the volume and then repaired the disk--> quite disk utilities --> start the installation from the installation DVD.

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Select the messages logged after the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
For example, if the problem is a slow startup taking three minutes, post the messages timestamped within three minutes after the boot time, not before. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the beginning of the log extract.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID
