After restore my iphone 3gs wont work
My phone went to someone to fix the screen on my 3GS he said it went into recovery, now when i try to power up it says 'could not activate' I have restored and googled all night, it still will not work!! Any ideas please? I want my phone back
Take it back to whoever was supposed to "fix" it. Since it's been opened by a 3rd party, Apple won't touch it and there's no telling what they damaged when they opened it up.

My Iphone 3gs wont charge, turn on, or restore itself in Itunes, but the apple logo still appears when I hold the sleep botton. How can I make my Iphone work???? I know it is not dead because I can see the apple logo on, and every time I connect it to a USB port to charge, or a wall charger, the battery appears with a bit of red. Still, it wont turn on. It's been like this for three days now and I haven't stopped charging it. IT just WONT charge? Any tips I can use to solve the issue?

It sounds like the iPhone is experiencing issues upon startup, and may not be loading the firmware or operating system correctly. If you have not already done so, try resetting the iPhone while connected to power:

I continue to get an error 37 message when trying to restore my iphone 3GS which crashed after trying to upload the last update. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have exactly the same issue as described above : I installed the update 5.1.1 on my iphone 3GS and since then, I can not turn it on anymore. In Itunes, I get an error 37 when I am doing a restauration and it stops.
This error has nothing to do with firewall : I tried to restore the phone on several computers, including in an Apple reseller and it did not work anywhere.
I spent several hours on phone with the hotline from Apple which arrived to the conclusion that it is a hardware issue, but the phone was working perfectly fine until I installed this update! -

First step is to clean the iPhone charging port with a clean dry toothbrush, also use a bit of Isopropyll Alcohol, and clean especially the pins which are on top of the dock midrib.
Let it dry for a minute. Then open iTunes on computer, then connect iPhone to computer, then hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone is recognized by iTunes in Recovery Mode. Usually about 20 seconds time of holding both buttons. Restore the iPhone Firmware. -

What file did it say was corrupt? What error number? What is showing on your phone right now? What version of iTunes? What kind of computer?

I have upgraded my iphone3Gs to IOS7. After restoring my iphone was empty it was just showing me itune nothing else how can i get my backup and use iphone again..The iPhone 3GS is not compatible with iOS 7, you may what to check and see what it was that you did.

i had recently followed orders to restore my iPhone 3gs (iOS 6.1) from a question on apple support. However it was working fine before that, it's just that my phone didn't have signal. So it said to restore my iPhone and now it says that the Activation server is temporarily unavailable and when i plugged it into my mac, it said that i ddn't have a sim card installed. What can I do to fix this besides bring it to the store? it also bugs me because this answer was supposed to work but it just messed my phone up even more. This has already happened once and i had to take it to the store. What should I do to fix this? Thank you so much for all answers. i really appreciate.

If your restore is failing, there could be MANY issues... You may need to restore the phone back to "new phone" during the restore... PAY ATTENTION HERE... You will lose ALL contacts, photos, videos, voice memos, etc... But you will be able to re-add your apps< and music through itunes. that is very last resort though. if that doesnt work, I would look into updateing your phone. Personally I wouldn't get the 5, just because I dont need the additonal size screen... I have the 4S and LOVE it!! but, do some research, and see what you can find on the matter. But it sounds like your headed down hill fast with that phone... May be best just to upgrade and save yourself the frustration...

I bought a new ipad3 packed but after opening its box there are no headsets in it and iphone headsets wont work with iphone so is it normal I mean why there are no heas sets with ipad3 ?
Headsets don't come with the iPad. All you get is the iPad, USB cable and wall charger.
