After restoring my iphone , itune will say,could not restore because iphone was disconnected? what does that mean?

Got a new iphone and needed to transfer my music from my ipod to the iphone. I did a back up on ther ipod and restored it to the iphoneI got 2 messeges:
1. itune could not restore the iphone because the iphone disconnected.
2. The phone cannot be syned. An internal device error occured.
Can anyone help me?

Try a soft-reset and see if it works after your phone has restarted (it seems ot have fixed the error for a number of people on here) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

Try the following:
- Double click the Home button and close all apps in the recently-used dock. The power off and then back on the iPod.

Yes you can upgrade from 4.3.3 to 6.0.
Your media - apps, games, music, photos, and so are not included in the backup. Your app data, settings, and many other things are included in the backup. After you update the iPad, you should sync with iTunes in order to put all of that content back into the iPad. This is what I recommend doing - I do it myself every time I update my iPads, or iPod Touch.
What you should do anytime that you update the device is to transfer purchases from the iPad into iTunes - File>Transfer Purchases - and you should backup the iPad as well. When you update the update the device, if something goes wrong, you can restore from the backup.
If you have any other important files, you may want to transfer them to your computer as well, prior to the update.

I think I remember hearing that if you quit iTunes with your device still connected, then open iTunes up again, it should work.
