After sharing a folder of images with someone, is there an easy/fast way to view the images with comments?

I shared a folder of 100 images with a friend.  She commented on the images she would like edited.  Is there an easier way to view the photos she commented on, other than clicking on each image to view the activity?
Thank you!

    Adobe Creative Cloud

    Photoshop CC needs at least OSX 10.7-10.9
    You may be able to install and run it on 10.6.8, but as I understand it the rules for generating thumbnails has changed with Apple and CC writes them to suit the required OSX.
    Photoshop CS6 will always give you image thumbnails but CC and CC 2014 have had thumbnails generated differently for the required OSX.
    You will have to upgrade to 10.7,10.8, or 10.9

    Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to purchase them originally. Did you try entering your old password and see if that works?
    If you need to sign out of your old account go to Settings>Store>Tap on your ID and sign out. Sign in with the new one.
    you can also access your ID in the featured tab of the App Store. Swipe to the bottom of the screen and you will find it there as well.

    You should get your keyboard checked as it's repeating  on a lot of keys and makes you look silly.
    There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
    Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

    Hi
    I am a keen photographer and I have just bought you SD card reader for ipad. This works well but was winding if there is an app that I can view the images on the SD card full screen without having to import them to the iPad or is there a way to do this on the iPad
    The reason for buy this was for when I was out and about to get a better view off my images.
    I have a iPad 2 16gb
    Hope you can help!
    Thanks

    A couple of weeks ago, (after reading a review in TUAW) I bought a wireless hub/ SD card reader called RAVPower.  its app comes with a built in viewer, so you can load it up, and see the pics full screen.

  • Photoshop CC: Have a template that I moved image into.  Image is too small.  How do I resize the image while in the template?  Or must I go to original image file and resize there again and again until I get the right fit?

    I have a template that I am able to plug different pictures into at different times.  The problem is that when I plug an image into that template, I find that the image is either too big or too small.  Is there a way to plug the image into the template and resize the image (and not the template itself) OR will I have to go to the file with the original image and resize it there and then try to plug it in to the template to see if it fits------and if it does not fit, go back to the original file with the image and resize it again and see if that fits---and so on and so on...........?  I have tried the" image size" option but it's hit or miss------mostly miss!
    Thanks!

    Read up on Smart Objects. It looks like you have no idea as to how to create and use them.
    Jut create a Smart Object from the layer containing whatever it image it is that you are "plugging into your template".  But you do need to learn the application at its most basic levels.
    Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.  You cannot learn Photoshop in a forum, one question at a time.
    Or is it possible that you don't even have Photoshop proper but the stripped-down Photoshop Elements?"
    If the latter is the case, you're in the wrong forum.  This is not the Elements forum.
    Here's the link to the forum you would want if you're working in Elements.:
    https://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop_elements/content
    If you do have Photoshop proper, please provide the exact version number of that application and of your OS.

  • Is there a way to shorten the "Open With" list?

    Hi -
    This may be a question for Apple because it is a uniquely Apple Finder problem.
    Or maybe some clever 3rd party Apple developer will take this on - because this is an Apple Finder problem (hint).
    Is there a way to shorten the "Open With" list that appears when I right-click on a file?
    Heres why this is important to me.
    1- I'm seeing multiple versions of the same app on the list, like Photoshop CS5, Photoshop CS5.1, Photoshop CS 5.5.  I can't think of any reason why I would ever want to use an older version of Photoshop.  And it's not only Photoshop or even Adobe products.
    2- I see incorrect apps being suggested.  If I right click on an Illustrator file I see that TextEdit is one of the choices.  I get Photoshop as an option to open HTML files.  I see BBEdit as an option to open JPEG files.  These are bizarre associations.  Why are they even on the list?
    3- With so many irrelevant choices the possibility of selecting the wrong application increases and doing so is a waste of time and resources.  Once I accidentally selected a text editor to open a JPEG.  After about 3 minutes of RAM-sucking processing I got a huge file of jibberish text characters that was thousands of lines long.  Waste of time!
    I KNOW I'm not the only one with this question.
    Is there anyone out there with an answer???
    Thanks,
    JL

    baltwo - thank you for the expert advice.
    I did as you instructed and the situation is better but I don't believe it's solved.
    I still get 3 versions of Photoshop when I right click on a PSD.  I also get Dashcode and Textwrangler - which are the oddest associations.  All together I get 25 apps responding to "Open With" on a PSD.  And this is an improvement.
    Do you think I would get even better results if I ran the same command again?
    Thanks again.
    JL

  • Is there a way to change the image numbers in a file in Aperture?

    Is there a way to change the image numbers in a file in Aperture? We shoot with two photographers and so the img numbers are not in order but I would like to have the photos in chronological order on the disc when I give it to them. Does anyone know how to do this? I have them all in order ready to go in Aperture but when I move them to the disc to be burned they default back to the img number order. Thanks for your help!

    What do you mean by "image number"? The file names like "IMG_7822.CR2" or "IMG_7822.jpg"?
    You can create custom names with appended numbers, when you export your image files to be saved on a disk.
    Sort your images by date in the browser, select them, then use the command "File > Export > Version" to write the files to the disk. Set the name format to "Custem Name with Index" or "Custom Name with Counter" to create numbered names in your current sort order.

    i am facing the problem to view the image as cylindrical view.
    i.e, the image moved at the end position ,the image seems to jump to the start.
    instead of this the image should view as cylindrical view. i.e, that the end of the image sticks to the beginning of the image.

    }plz help me regarding this concept

    I have learnt a technique when I am programming in flash.
    Assume you have a photo cat.jpg with 10 units in width and 10 units in height. You can have a view(viewport) 10 units in width and 10 units in height.
    The following shows the width of the photo:
    012345679
    To show an effect of panorama, you can draw 2 photo at any time. I assume the eyesight of a person move from left to right with 1 unit at a time.
    The original image is 0123456789.
    If the person move eyesight to right by one unit, the image become
    1234567890
    If the person move eyesight to right by one more unit, the image become
    2345678901
    You can program the by drawing 2 images at any time.
    0123456789(zero width for second image)
    123456789(0, 1 unit in width in second image)
    23456789(01, 2 unit in width in second image)
    To display part of image, try this link to a program to crop image

  • Open a url and view the files with it's timestamp

    Hi guys,
    I need to create a flow service in SAP BC to connect to a server by it's url and display it's files with it's timestamps.
    I have never done this b4, and usinf SAP BC makes it harder for me.. Mostly I need to know how to access the server and view the files with their timestamp.
    Any guidance for me will be much appreciated.
    Thank u.

    Yes,
    It's like this. I will connect to an FTP server. Then I need to view the files it the server or folder i specify with their respective timestamps.
    I am using SAP BC and it's webMethods to create the JAVA flow service. I am only now familiarising myself with SAP BC.
    Moreover I have never done a coding to access a server and list it's file. I can do it o view in a local directory using JFrame aand stuff... But SAP BC doesn't support those..
    So If u can give me some guidelines to follow.. i would appreciate it.
    Here's what i have come up with so far
    public static final void ReadFileServer( IData pipeline ) throws ServiceException
    //define input variables
         IDataCursor idcPipeline = pipeline.getCursor();
         String path = null;
         path = (String)idcPipeline.getValue();
         // Check if url is in the pipeline
         if (idcPipeline.first("path"))
              File dir = new File(path);
              String filesFound[]=dir.list();
              long [] age;
              age = new long[filesFound.length];
              for (int i = 0; i < filesFound.length; i++)
                   age = new File(filesFound).lastModified();
              String temp = "";
              for (int i = 0; i < age.length - 1; i++)
                   for(int k = i+1; k < age.length ; k++)
                        if (age > age [k])
                        temp = filesFound;
                        filesFound = filesFound[k];
                        filesFound[k] = temp;
              for (int i = 0; i < filesFound.length; i++)
              //get url out of the pipeline
              path = (String)idcPipeline.getValue();
              //insert the FILES into the pipeline
              idcPipeline.insertAfter("filesFound", filesFound);
              idcPipeline.insertAfter("age", age);
         //If it is not in the pipeline ERROR
         else
         age = "False";
         idcPipeline.insertAfter("path", path);
         //insert the successFlag into the pipeline
         idcPipeline.insertAfter("age", age);
         //Always destroy cursors that you created
         idcPipeline.destroy();
    return;

  • A Fast way to display compressed images?

    Hi,
    I currently working on iPhone and trying to display (home-made) compressed images in an UIImageView : it is updated as soon as I have finished building the new one. I already do it with raw (BMP) images but I use them at 2D GLTextures that I found faster than the use of an UIImageView.
    To update the view with compressed images, I do:
    //member in .h
    UIImage * myImage;
    UIImageView * MyImgView;
    // In .m
    -(void)UpdateImageWithData :(NSData *) p_Data
    myImage = [UIImage imageWithData:p_Data];
    MyImgView.image = myImage;
    This works quite well, but I encounter a major drawback for me : the frame rate of this is never better than 10 fps. I build my images faster that 25 per second, but cannot display them that fast.
    I tried to change compression quality and compression methods (PNG interlaced or not, JPEG (411, 421, 444, varying quality from 10 to 100%), etc.) but I always have the same frame rate. So, I am assuming that the max frame rate you can have with an UIImageView is limiter whatever the format is.
    Now, I am wondering a few things :
    - Am I right about this limitation or do you see any flaw in my discussion?
    - Is there some way to 'accelerate' the rendering with an UIMageView?
    - Is there another faster way to display compressed images (or at least any kind of JPEG images)
    - Is there a (fast) way with UIKit (or any compatible lib) to retrieve the raw image so that I can use my first method and display it as a 2D OpenGL Texture?
    - Since from one image to the other only a few changes occur, do you see any way to update only what actually changed in order to save some CPU?
    - Do you think that the problem about UIImageView frame refreshement rate is linked with the iPhone Video Processor or with its CPU? (thus the new 3GS may help me solve this problem)
    Thank your for reading this untill the end.

    Hey, guess what, I had pretty much this same exact problem. Client wanted full screen 30 fps animation. Here's what I found experimenting with full screen sizes:
    - Whether you use UIImageView conveniences, or load and draw yourself in a UIView subclass, makes no apparent difference.
    - If you're doing basic Quartz drawing, never a problem keeping 30 fps up.
    - But as soon as you change the image in a UIImageView, or draw it with CGContextDrawImage() yourself in a UIView, then the frame rate plummets to about 10 fps on an iPod touch 1G, or 20-25 on an iPhone 3GS.
    For my purposes most of the full screen animation could be put into movies, and the motion clipped down to manageable sections in the interactive portions (and anyway, the fps doesn't really matter for those background bits). If it's not for you, then I guess you need to go down to OpenGL and see how that works out.
