After SL upgrade can't download photos into i-photo 09

it starts to download pictures but when it say import all I say yes and it goes but then it stops i can see it importing but its almost likes its stuck. Any ideas ???
When I check to see last imports its not my pictures in my camera. It works with my husbands camera ?????

In older versions of Photoshop you could see two or more frames in the work area and cut an paste parts of one photo into another photo by using the "move" tool after the area to be moved was selected. I am having trouble discerning how to achieve this action in CC. Could someone in the forum with this experience give me some steps to take to complete this process? Thanks.

If you are able to you should sign out using the Cloud manager program before you reset. YOu will be able to download again after the rest if you need to.

2 weeks ago I was able to download forms from Planning 11.1.1.3. Today I can't. The forms option is faded. Essbase client was so much simpler than Smartview!!

Update! I took some general advice on the forum and rebooted my iPhone a few times. I also asked the phone to "forget this device" and attempted to reconnect several times. It would load my contacts and then proceed to disconnect from the phone and I would also see a message on the Bluetooth page that the BlueAnt ST3 was not supported.
I gave up.
I left the two devices plugged into my computer for power overnight, laying side by side on the table.
They found each other. The next day they connected and have been communicating ever since.
Perhaps until the next IOS upgrade? But a happy ending in the interim

Hi Zak, thanks for the reply.
The filename is whatever is set to be the background fill of the site (I presume the desktop background fill, if mobile versions are set to be different). I've tried a number of different files, sizes and types/formats and the result is still the same, so as far as I can tell it's not the file itself causing the issue...
It uploads all pages (desktop, tablet and phone versions), .css files and .html files, and even the favicon .ico file but then hangs on the first image file, which incidentally is the background fill image.
The total number of files is said to be 154. It gets stuck on file number 24.
Yes the "Resume" dialog appears and upon clicking it just attempts to continue from the hang at the first image file (apparently 66% of the way through).
Re: the "BC site has changed" part - I thought as much but figured worth reporting.
... Incidentally, as I've written this reply, I left the "Resume" dialog open (ie neither clicking "resume" or "cancel" and just as I've finished typing it appears to have published the site successfully?!! (I must've left it for roughly 5 minutes)

If you want to watch on your iPad screen, you don't even need airplay.
If you want to watch on a television screen, you need an AppleTV.
In both cases...
If the movies are purchased, there is no need for an Internet connection to the outside world. If they're rented, you need an Internet connection for the first minute or so that Apple knows that you're watching the movie. I do not know if a rented movie can be stopped and restarted without an Internet connection.

Since recent upgrade, can not download from YouTube

Before the most recent upgrade to Firefox 3.6.8 two weeks ago, everything worked fine with this program. My issue is, I can not copy and paste a URL address from You Tube and download it into a program called Audio Editor. After the upgrade, when I copy and paste the URL address and start to download, there is no download. The message No File Downloaded, please try again. It is like there is nothing there. It worked great for a couple of months.
Is there a setting in the new version of Firefox that prevents me from copying, pasting and downloading from You Tube?

Can you be more clear about your issue. What I understand from your post is that you "can not copy and paste a URL address from You Tube and download it into a program called Audio Editor". Does this mean that you cannot paste the URL you copy? Or does this mean that Audio Editor is not recognizing the URL?
Also, this Audio Editor you speak off is not developed by Mozilla, so if it's just that it's not working correctly, you need to contact its author for support.

Can I Download an HTML Web Photo Gallery?

New iPad owner here. I have put up on my own web site several photo galleries - html rather than flash, most (but not all) created with Adobe LightRoom.
Can I download them to my iPad for viewing when I am offline?

If it were me, I would try using Safari to browse to your web site, then tap and hold on one of the images and you should get a menu that has the "Open, Open in New Page, Save Image, Copy" set of choices. If you tap on "Save Image" it goes into your Photos app where it's saved to the "Saved Images" album so that you can view it whenever you wish using the Photos app.
There are some circumstances that may not have the "Save Image" choice, but not sure what those are. Think it depends on how the image is referenced in your HTML code - but maybe someone else can address the why of that.
Not sure what file format Adobe Lightroom saves it's pictures as, but as long as they are standard (JPEG or TIFF or GIF or PNG) files don't see there being any problem. If you have a lot of photos and don't want to save them one-by-one you might want to "push" them to the iPad using something like DropBox which can save photos directly to your photo library.
Something I'm coming to realize about files and the iPad - the device does not seem to be a general purpose computer with a centralized file system. Each app seems to keep track of its own files and getting them from one app to another can be a pain, e.g. from Safari to Photos. I hope that the concept of a "centralized" file system gets implemented on the iPad so that files can be shared between apps, but not sure this will happen due to the iPad's idea of keeping things separate for security reasons.
If you will give a specific URL of what you're trying to save, might be able to give more details.

The sort order on iOS 5+ is by the photos 'date modified' field, on iOS 4 it's the 'date taken' - so you will need to modify that field on your photos.
Or you could consider using a third-party photo management app such as Photo Manager Pro which allows you to change the sort order within the app e.g. by date, size, type or you can drag them into your own sort order.

Trying to reinstall apps on ipad after ios upgrade but not downloading.

Just upgraded both my ipad 1 and iphone 4 to iOs 5 and both had all the apps deleted after the upgrade. I'm manually reinstalling the apps but while the apps download and install fine on my iphone they are hung up in the "waiting" mode on my ipad. Checked and the ipad is connected to the internet since I can surf the web still on the ipad. Anyone else having issues like this?

Change to the correct store this way.
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID
Tap your ID
Tap View Apple ID
Enter your password
Go to country/region in the popup window to change the store.
Or swipe down to he bottom of the App Store in the featured tab and tap on your Apple ID. Sign out of your ID and then sign in again and see if that changes the store for you.
