The majority are "unfortunately, messaging has stopped", but you can replace messaging with "android os", or any other process, as it happens with more than just messaging. I have had numerous people call and ask why I didn't reply to their texts...and I look, but have not received any new texts. YES, I have restarted phone. I have cleared data as well as cache on all apps. I have downloaded the vzw messaging app, which seems silly, since it happens with several different processes and apps, but all to no avail. I am missing texts from my employer, from my family. This did happen, but rarely, before this "soak test". It is now Kitkat version 19.6.3.obake_verizon.en.US. THIS is when I started having problems...like 50 times a day kind of problems! I have seen hundreds of posts all over the internet over the past 3 days. Does no one know how to fix this??? Shouldn't there be a way to revert phone to a pre-update state? and no, hard reset did NOT work!!!! I have been with verizon for well over 15 years, but I have not upgraded my lines and will not in July either. This is ridiculous. It's not like my games aren't working, it is my messaging and "android os"...my lifeline at work!

Oh no, I am sorry to hear your messages are not working since the software update. I greatlly appreciate doing all that troubleshooting to try and get the messaging application back in business. I know how much I rely on my messages so I can understand the urgency to get this resolved. Have you had a resolution ticket opened since you started experiencing issues with your messages? Does this happen with all contacts or just some? Please provide additional information to ensure we get to the bottom of this for you.

First off, I would STRONGLY suggest that a external hard drive would make you life much easier by at least being able to back up your songs on the external drive for when you need them. Even if you don't want them in the iTunes library, you can have them all ready on the external to be re-added as needed. You can get 100's of gigs for under $100 shipped.
Anyway, since you used Yamipod, are all the songs back on the computer? If so, I would go ahead and restore the iPod, let iTunes then resync everything back to the iPod, then switch it back to manual and see if the restore and resync clears up the issue.

Maybe you could tell us what you already have tried and when this error shows up.
Besides that message, do you get any other information about the crash in your screen?
I guess you're on Windows, don't believe that Apple computers show this type of error message.
Running as administrator, or other compatibility settings could solve your problem.

If you imported them and still have the CD try importing them again and see if they work the delete the others.

URGENT : On clicking back button of IE error message in the content area

On clicking of a link in my navigation area KM folders are displayed in the content area via a KM iview. On 1st level navigation in this iView and clicking the explorer back button there is no problem. But if we navigate to inner folders and click on back button I get a warning in the Content Area:
" Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.
To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button."
This is not the case when I navigate through Bread Crumb.
The isolation method for my iView is Embedded and for my Page is also Embedded.

I am pretty sure that nothing can be done about this. A Lot of other websites/applications also have this same problem. You try playing with the browser cache settings so that the back button doesn't try and get the page from the cache. You could also try and experiment with the cache-control and expires HTTP headers, to see whether this has any effect.
Other than this, I am unsure as to whether it can be resolved

Most of the time this error is coming from a wrong psservername parameter definition in configuration.properties of your Webserver. Be sure you can ping the servername or IP address defined, and the port is the Jolt port of the AppServer domain.
Please, show us what's the value. And also your PTools, Weblogic, Tuxedo version and OS used.

Performance issue calling bapi po create in test mode to get error messages

We have a report which displays in alv the purchase orders that got created in SAP, but either got blocked due to not meeting PO Release Strategy tolerances or have failed output messages .We are displaying the failed messages too.
We are looping the internal table of eban(purchase requisition) and calling bapi po create in test mode to get failed messages.
Now we are facing performance issue in production.What can be the other effecient way to get the error messages without effecting performance.

Hi Suvarna,
so you need to reduce the number of PO-simulations.
- Likely you checked already, that all EBAN-entries should already be converted into POs. If there would be a large number of "new" EBAN-entries, they don't need to be simulated.
- If it's a temporary problem: give aid to correct the problems (maintain prices or whatever the error-reasons are) Then the amount of not-converted purchase requisitions (PR) should drop, too
- If it's likely, that your volume of open PR will stay high: create a Z-Table with key of EBAN and a counter, simulate (once a day) PO conversions and store the results in the Z-table. In your report you can use the results... if they are "new enough". From time to time new simulations should be done, missing master data might be available.
Maybe users should be allowed to start this 2nd report manually (in background), too -> then they can update the messages after some data corrections themself, without waiting for the result (just check later in online report and do something different in between).
And you might need to explain, PO simulation takes as long as PO creation... there is no easy or fast way around this.

Since iTunes directed to you to restore your iPod, I'd check out the following article that goes over the steps to do so:

I would read the document in full, but here are the applicable steps for you:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.

Is there any way to have more than 200 messages in your inbox?

My iPhone 3gs only allows 200 messages in my inbox per email account. On the contrary, my girlfriends blackberry will hold 1500+ emails.
Does anyone know how to change the settings to allow more messages to be kept in the inbox or if the new iPhone 4 will allow more messages to be kept in the inbox?

What you see in regards to the Show Recent Messages settings is the only thing available.
If a mailbox has more than 200 messages and you want to view more than the 200 most recent messages in the mailbox, there is a load more messages selection at the bottom of the mailbox or below the 200th most recent message.
Don't know if iOS4 will have different options available for the show most recent messages setting for a mailbox. iOS4 for existing 3G and 3GS iPhone will be released on 6/21. iPhone 4 will have iOS4 pre-installed.

It just didn't occur to me to do so.
My intent was to report that there was at least one other user encountering a similar problem. It occurred to me that Adobe might be interested in determining the scale of a problem which causes one of their best known products to fail to run quite so completely after a clean install
I also see that I misreported the OS I'm running - its Windows 8.

The X230 has Intel HD 4000 graphics support built in to the processor. Windows was pretty stubborn about refusing driver updates, but I just managed to get drivers from the Intel site to install and Photoshop is now running, so hopefully I need not try your patience any further.
In case anyone else has a similar problem and stumbles on this the way to install the driver that worked was to:
- download the zip version of the generic driver from Intel
- use the 'have disk' option in the windows dialog to install the driver - other paths in the UI did not work with windows refusing to install the driver.

HP Officejet 6310 All in One printer. Computer is a HP Pavillion a1410n. Operating system is Windows xp media center edition. Version 2002.
I keep getting a reset power message on my HP officejet 6310, flashing lights. Machine is unresponsive. I have tried to reset power by unplugging power cord and plugging it back in while holding down the # key and 3, 6 or 9 keys.
Tried taking out the ink cartridges and put them back in. Now the printer says my tri color ink cartridge is depleated. It is not.
The test page is perfect and the alignment page is fine when it prints out. I have always used genuine HP ink cartridges.
The main problem is it starts up fine then after set up it goes to the reset power message with the flashing lights. Sometimes I can clear it but then the camera icon flashes and the machine is still unresponsive. Please help !

I have the same problem with my HP 6310xi.
I never get to a point where I can print the page because it is always doing cartridge alignment.
If the cartridge alignment is canceled, The machine will complete it start up and provide a functional scanner and printer.
This condition is unstable and it may revert any time to the power reset lights flashing at which time you can do the cancel procedure, but this is a real bother.
I am truly getting unhappy with Hewlett-Packard and their printers. Their proprietary cables. Their proprietary voltages and their installation software that throws garbageware on your computer.
I have an Epson it seems to be working over 10 years now and my problem is becoming one of finding ink supplies. In addition, I can fit a full-page which you cannot do with the HP. There a genius engineers had decided that you do not need that last half-inch no matter how much you want it.

I cannot select more than one message at a time to delete from the trash. I did not have this problem before I updated to Maverick. What am I doing wrong?

This works in many different ways and in lots of apps.
Hold down the command key and you can select from a list (leaving some not checked) to exclude them from the delete process.
To empty all of the trash folder use command-a keys to "select all" and then the delete key to remove them.
