After stopping replication what happens to the table for which we have stopped replication

Hello Team
Once we stop a replication for a table then does the table still exists in HANA DB . Next time when we have requirement for replicating this table what precautions we need to take .
Regards

Hi Prag,
When you use Stop replication, the table still exists on HANA DB.
When LT server is used for replication, with Stop repication option then in the source system the DB triggers and the logging tables are deleted and hence no changes to the data recorded.
If you wish to perform replication again then you need to perform initial load and then replicate then the latest changes to the data are visible.
Best Regards,
Ranjit

  • Value mapping replication - What happens to the cache at restart?

    Hi!
Does anybody know what happens with the value mapping infos in the runtime cache of the integration server after a restart of XI?
Are the mapping infos still available or do we need to send mapping values via outbound interface ValueMappingReplicationOut once again?
    kr,
    Ronald

    Hi Ronald,
as far as i know, the cache is being emptied, so you'll need to send the values again.
Unfortunately i can't find any reference to this in any of the documentation, but you can easily test that by replicating data, checking it with the cache monitoring than restarting XI and checking it again.

  • What happens during the "Waiting for UDev uevents to be processed"?

    Hello dear archers,
I have arch installed on my laptop, working great, I really love it.
Only one thing bother me and I would like to solve it: at boot time, the system waits for about 15s on the stage "Waiting for UDev uevents to be processed".
Is it normal? What is it doing exactly during this stage: loading modules?
I try to see in my logs but I can't find anything related to this. How can I know if there is not some kind of issue which make him takes so long ? How can I improve this ?

Thank you for all your answers.
Well, according to the man page and rc.sysinit, udevadm command in the rc.sysinit script does:
    /sbin/udevadm settle
    /sbin/udevadm control --property=STARTUP=
I assume this is the settle command which takes time.
But how can I list the uevents in the queue the udevadm settle command is waiting for ? If possible, with the delay of treatment of each of these uevents during the boot...
I have nothing related to this in my logs.
Regarding my hardware, I have one toshiba laptop P300-220 with two internal hard drives (and many partitions on them). But no external drive.

  • What happens to the cube performance when you have too many UDAs?

    Hi,
what's the impact on the cube performance if you have too many UDAs associated with the same level of members? Let's say 15 UDAs for each member
If attribute is not an option, what's another way to help alleviate the data load?

    Hi,
Adding UDAs to the outline doesn't impact the size of Essbase database.
I've seen cubes with over 70 UDAs. And I think UDAs is the best choice to set load rules.
But for considering of the implication of Dynamic calculations as reporting on UDAs can be slow. Define UDAs on sparse dimensions only.

  • What happen to the link for organizing bookmarks in FF4?

After upgrading to FF4, I noticed the link to organize bookmarks is no longer there. Where do i go to organize my bookmarks e.g. add a new folder, move sites from one folder to another, etc.?
    Using XP sp3

You can look in the toolbar palette to see if you can find the Bookmarks Menu button (with the drop marker) and drag the icon on the Navigation Toolbar.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

If you have a rescue email on file, the reset for the questions is sent there.  If you don't have a rescue email, you will have to call Applecare, verify your identity, and then reset the questions.  You will need to be able to sign in to the apple id website when you call.

  • What are all the tables for when you  create a queue?

I'm just getting started with Advanced Queuing on 9i db.
When I create a queue table, I noticed that server other
tables are created at the same time, with the following appended to the original table name: H, I, NR, S, _T
Some of them are also indexed. I figured out that the _S
version is for the subscribers, what are the others?
    Thanks,
    Tim

Now when I try to take a photo from the message screen it boots me out of the message app completely

        Hello lwilson0104
Thanks for reaching out. Let's get to the bottom of this. Did this start after an app was downloaded? Software update? What available memory do you have?
I look forward to getting this addressed.

  • What happened to the option for a dialog box upon closing that allowed for modifying the automatic history clearing options, and how do I get it back?

I no longer find this option in the privacy settings under the Tools/Options menu. Is there a setting I can modify in the config file to reactivate this function?

As I remember, that pop-up box disappeared after Firefox 3.5, as well ask the "Ask me before clearing..." option check box. The items are now automatically cleared that you have selected in ''Firefox button > Options > Options (or Tools > Options) > Privacy > [x] Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings''

    *See --> https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Options%20window%20-%20Privacy%20panel
There is an Extension/Add-on that will display that box when closing Firefox:

  • What happened to the controls in QuickTime?

I like the new look of QuickTime, but what happened to the controls for editing video? I used to be able to hit the "I" key for inpoint, and the "O" key for endpoint, and then hit delete to remove that section. Now, I have to drag the selection tool around to do the cut. This is very awkward, especially when I need to fine-tune the areas where the cut is to be made.
Are there any tips on doing some more fine-tuned edits in QuickTime?

I second SwagMeyer's request. He's not asking for any advanced trimming feature that would make things more difficult for the simple user: the IN and OUT shortcuts were presents and "invisible" also in QuickTimePro 7 and they would not affect that easiness of the application.

  • What happened to the old JamPack 1?

Before the SteveNote, the four JamPacks Apple sold were:
    Jam Pack 1
    Jam Pack 2: Remix Tools
    Jam Pack 3: Rhythm Section
    Jam Pack 4: Symphony Orchestra
Now, the four they sell are:
    Jam Pack 1: Remix Tools
    Jam Pack 2: Rhythm Section
    Jam Pack 3: Symphony Orchestra
    Jam Pack 4: World Music
So what happened to the original JamPack 1? Have all of those loops and instruments been rolled up into GarageBand 3's default install, or are all those loops and instruments just plain discontinued?

JamPack 1 is now included as a standard part of GB3.
Where did you get this information from? Another poster recently said this:

I think people are thinking it was included because its no longer listed as for sale at the Apple store.
However it appears you are right. I did a clean install of Garageband 3 while my Jam Pack 1 folder was moved elsewhere and renamed, and the Garageband installer did not put any of those loops on my hard drive.
For those wanting to check, the first loop listed in the Jam Pack 1 folder is "12 String Dream 01.aif" - so you can see if you have it anywhere.
