If they are on your computer's iTunes then you can sync them back across to the iPad. If they are not on your computer, then as long as they are still available in the store and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy/download them then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

What does "I caught my phone 4" mean?
All contacts, calendars, photos etc should be on your computer as the iphone is designed to be synced to your computer.
Just sync them to your new iphone.

Thanks but have tried that - When I try to restore I get a -50 error and into a loop of taking another back up. I took a copy of the back up before the IOS upgrade and have it stored on my desk top but I cannot get Itunes to restore to that back up

I hope you are not trying to open them in iTunes on the PC - are you? That is the way that your statement comes across to me. You can only use the apps on the iPad.

It's possible Outlook opened in a new Identity.
In the Finder go to your Documents folder > Microsoft User Data folder > Office 2011 Identities folder.
Inside you should see your Identity. You might see other Identities from prior rebuilds. If Outlook opened in a new blank Identity you can open the Database Utility to set your old Identity as default.
Options to check in the Identity to determine if it has data.
Check the database file in the Identity to see when it was created and modified.
Check the Data Records folder to see if it has these folders:
Message Attachments
Message Sources
Messages
If these folders are missing there are no messages.
Open the Database Utility
Hold down the Option key when launching Outlook. It will open the Database Utility.
Click on the + to add a new Identity.
Click on the gear to set default Identity.
Another option to open the Database Utility is to open from Applications.
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office/Microsoft Database Utility.app

I had turn off location service for some apps and turn off cellular and wifi location for camera too, but when eveytime I turn on camera and other apps it keep appear:
1. turn on location service for camera for better location
2. cellular date is turn off for " xxxx apps"

Otherwise you are at the mercy of a backup, if you ever made one. Many users have lost photos and videos when performing a restore from icloud. You may be one of them. However if previously you used photo stream to sync photos to other devices, then you may still have them there. Turn on photo stream on the iPad 2 to get them back. Video, however, does not work on photo stream.

Upgraded to 3.1 and lost all users and groups. How do we get them back?

We ran the update to Server 3.1 (from 3.0) on our Mavericks Mac-Mini Server.
Everything had been fine before the update, but now all users and groups have completely disappeared.
The only user we have is the main administrator log-in.
Since we verified that all of our data, wikis, and other items are still in place, it might be easier to just re-create the groups and users (and permission therein).
But, we cannot log into Workgroup Manager, nor can we add users/groups in the Server app (because it is "grayed-out").
Can somebody please provide a suggestion??
We are a small engineering firm with only 5 users, so it's not like this would take all day.

If you included the iPhone backup folder into your computer backup routine, you could be able to restore the backup from that point of time and your contact info will be there again. My phone reset by itself. I set up the phone and signed in with my AppleID. Everything was lost and did not populate back into the phone. i had to restore contacts and music.

I thought I'd lost my notes, too. I also have an iPad mini, and noticed the notes app icon and clicked on it. What was more obvious on the iPad was that there are different accounts; in other words, it had different sets of notes saved under different email accounts.My missing notes were saved under my icloud account, although I didn't consciously ever put the notes under any separate account. They were visible when I clicked "All Notes," too. It turns out that the phone had a different account set as the default. I changed the default on the iPhone, and there they were. I took screen shots so the notes are saved in my photos, too. This was a lot easier than checking through a lot of backups. I hope that helps. I will post this on a couple of threads I see in Apple communities. I see it's a pretty common problem.

If you mean that are no longer on your iTunes library, then depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries), and if they are still in the store, then you might be able to re-download them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
