Delete some of your songs off of the iPod Nano to make more room.

My IPhone 5, was backed up and restored. Music doesn't sync, when reconnecting device each time, it only offers restore or new phone rather than sync option. I have reinstalled ITunes but still this hasn't worked. Can anyone help please?
This problem started last year when ios 8 was released. I think apple is trying to force users to buy music on iTunes store and that's why it's impossible to sync other music and also that's the reason why they haven't solved this serious problem. That's really disappoints me and i'm angry with apple because i have like 10 gb of music in mp3 and i can't sync music from iTunes to my iPhone.

Anyone know how I can get an audio file imported into my iTunes' podcast directory, rather than the music directory?
I downloaded a series of podcasts recently. They were imported into my "music" directory instead, making it more difficult for me to recall where I left off with the last podcast I listened to before having to stop it for whatever reason. After syncing and updating my iphone my iCalendar on my computer lost most of my information. Including wiping out an entire calendar group. When trying to readd the calendar group it won't let me add events to my calendar under that category. A message pops up that says: "You can't add events or to do items to a calendar group. Select an individual calendar in the calendar list, then create your events or to do items." Any help here would be greatly appreciated! I would like to either retrieve the old information or find a way to add the category back in to start over. Thanks in advance!
hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

I bought a book from itunes with my ipad. after syncing my ipad and iphone the book did not transfer to my iphone. Any suggestions? I might add that I an technically handicaped
If the book isn't on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy it from the iPad by connecting the iPad to your computer and in iTunes doing File > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync it to the iPhone (connect the iPhone to your computer, select it on the left-hand side of iTunes, and use the Books tab on the right-hand side to select and sync that book). Or you can re-download it directly on the iPhone : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

I set up a playlist in itunes and when I try so sync it to my iphone, I get an error message "itunes could not copy "x" to the iphone "x" because a timeout error occurred. Using itunes 10.5.2.11 and Windows Vista 64. Any help? Thanks in advance!

Try to reset - Press both the home and on/off buttons for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo reappears.

No I didn't. Someone suggested in another thread that my iPod was registering as a disk instead of a device, so if I removed my iPod as a disk on Disk Utility then it would reload etc. and show up in iTunes. Which it didn't, and instead just cleared all my music (16,000 songs).
So frustrating.
Hope if you have the same problem you are able to find a better solution! -
