ok i restored my iphone 3gs (3.1.2fw) because i wanted to delete all the trash music i copied on it... then i surfed a bit the internet, called the 2000 and there the woman said i have 2,80€ more than yesterday... then i looked up the network settings and saw that there are no vpn konfigures o.O can some1 help me? i have t-mobile maximum S with 45€ every month and internet flat so... pls help me

Last Known Good Configuration deals only with Starting Windows eg. a bad registry or incorrect driver is preventing Windows to start.It recovers the registry settings of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet
While System Restore uses restore points to return your system files and settings to an earlier point in time without affecting personal files. Restore points are created automatically every week, and just before significant system events, such as the installation
of a program or device driver. You can also create a restore point manually.You can undone system restore but there is no such option in Last Known Good Configuration.
Last Known Good Configuration is disabled in Windows 8 or,Windows 8.1 by default.
Try using Last Known Good Configuration if you can't start Windows, but it started correctly the last time you turned on the computer.
Try using System Restore to return the system to an earlier point in time when things worked correctly.

I don't know if this is a similar problem but I wrote 2 notes yesterday on my iphone. I opened my mail to print them and they appeared as notes but wouldn't load. Then I looked at them on my iphone and I could see the notes but they quickly updated to blank with a time of the last edit the same time I tried opening them on my computer.
Yesterday I updated to 4.3.4 I don't know if somehow that affected them. Are they stored somewhere else. Can I get them back?

I got like the same problem, last days I get message to restore my iPhone, so I did it yesterday and it work very well. In the afternoon I saw that at top in the left corner show invaild sim card or so (only knew the german version). so I restore it again but now it won`t activate after I enter SIM-PIN and it accept it, it shows "No Service".
Anybody can help? My Carrier is o2 Germany.

If you synch your phone to your computer via itunes,it performs a backup prior to synching. You can check by luanching itunes select preferences>devices,all backups should be shown there. If in fact there is a backup of your phone listed then do a restore of that back up.

Quicktime issues after system restore

After system restore we had to reinstall games which required quicktime. after which I reinstalled itunes, but it wouldn't install without completely uninstalling everything for quicktime. reinstalled updated quicktime and itunes, but now games aren't working. Uninstalled games and reinstalled it, but still getting macromedia projector error message. Suggestion is to reinstall quicktime. I feel like I am going in circles. Appreciate any suggestions

After system restore the only thing i have is old firefox data on desktop if all bookmarks, passwords are recovered it will be great help.

The "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop has been created as the consequence of resetting Firefox.
Doing a Session Restore may have reverted the profiles.ini file to a previous version that hasn't registered the new profile folder that a reset had created, so you may need to check for this.

you may need to check the transfer structures,
right click infosource and 'change', click 'comm.structure'/expand,
click 'transfer', move the 0BASE_UOM from left to right side,
or if you wont use the comm structure anymore, you can right click infosource and 'delete comm structure'

The backup does not include any iTunes content - music, podcasts, video, or 3rd party apps. All iTunes content including 3rd party apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer. The iPhone can only sync with one computer. If you synced it to a different computer and you did not first copy the iTunes library from the old computer to the new then your phone's content was erased.

You can reinstall them from Recovery Manager by clicking on Start=> All Programs.
If you have performed a complete HP Recovery using F11 then all the software should be there. If you have performed a minimized recovery then you can install applications from recovery manager...If none of these works then you'll need USB recovery..

You'll have to force it into recovery mode and restore it again (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808). If it continues to fail, you'll have to restore it as a new iPhone, without using your backup.
