After the new ePub upload via AppleConnect - when is it ready FOR purchase
Hi, we here in Reno are newbies to ebook publishing. In the paper worid, you submit the "package" from Adobe (in what ever data files they requires), the Pub takes it to the printer and three to four months later you finally see the physical product!! Hurrah! -- but, now I have submitted the ePub (bahhhhhhhhhhhh) error finally free - to iTunes -- again newbie - and NOTHING with contract. iSBN, etc, and doesn't Apple take it from here??????? Decide if it is GOOD enough for iBooks? Help please! I really wanted this on be Dec at LEAST!
Oh believe me, I have asked in multi-forums. However, you might be surprised to find out that this forum is where I actually found my answer. Not actually found it, but came to understand it.
Out of frustration I continued to use the ITunesConnect program, and then voila I stumbled upon the search status as well as the delivery status. I had seen them before, but not understood the context completely.
As you clearly indicate, it was a failure on my part, a failure to read more clearly the publisher guide produced by iTunes. There it was. What happened was that after my tirade here on this forum, I went back to Apple's guide. It was there in black and white waiting for me. So, yes this forum helped me, even if it irritated others a smite. :-P

PLEASE HELP ME.This means that the phone you have was software unlocked to use on any carrier, or hacked. When you installed the update it restored the lock that originaly came with your phone. Not much you can do now. Apple will not support hacked phones. You will need to find out the carrier your phone is locked to and see if they offer official unlocking, or start googling to see if you can find a way to unlock 4.2.

Any ideas on how to fix ipad after the new iOS 7 update? My battery will not charge, my ipad is hot to the touch, the iTunes Store won't open, and my messages on Facebook aren't showing up when I chat and pintrest won't pin to my boards.
If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go -

After the new update my ipad4 will not do a full recharge even when turned off overnight and the battery goes flat it 2 hours it is driving me crazy as I had to stop all apps but still not helping but my iPhone 5 is great no troubles at all HELP
Do you place the ipod in the dock during the night? I did this once and the other day the battery was almost empty because it kept on playing after it rested in the dock.

HT201365 After the new IOS 7 uploaded I can not play my favoraite game Immortalis anymore?
Its werid all my other apps are working just this one after the new upload. I was playing it just before I uploaded so I know it was working.
Have you tried deleting it and then going back to App Store > Purchased and downloading it again. From there, press the cloud with downward arrow to the right of the app name. You won't be charged to download it again.

After the new update 5.1 whenever the iPhone locks and sleeps it changes from wifi to 3G. Before the update whenever even in the lock screen the wifi bars were strong and seemed as if it's working even when the phones asleep. Now with the new 5.1 update in lock screen after the phones been asleep for a minute or two it shows 3G then like after 5 seconds or so the wifi comes on.
For some reason, today whenever I wake my phone from sleep the wifi seems to be running. A few days ago when I first posted the 3G would be on then a few seconds later it would change to wifi. Does this mean it's transferring data in my pocket all morning so far?

I am on OS X and i am having problems sending pictures from the new pictures app via email. when i hit the sharing button i have the option to send via iMessage or Facebook but the email option is ghosted and can't be checked off. any suggestions?
I've resolved my problem now. It wasn't iphoto: preferences:@ that I needed but iphoto:preferences:general where there is the option to choose email for sending photos. Can't believe I missed that before.

I was not warned that audiobooks are a one time download only for those using iCloud to backup. As a result I've lost my audiobook when switching to a new iPhone after the previous phone was damaged.
Will Apple refund me for the audio book?

I just upgraded my mac book to 10.6.8 and downloaded the new version of itunes. When I try to open it and error message appears saying, "The iTunes Library file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "Music" folder."
I have tried a few things but iTunes closes right after i click okay. Anyone know anything?Look in your Home > Music folder. There should be an iTunes folder there and it should have a number of files and folders including one called library.itl You want to guide iTunes to that file. If you don't see that file or folder then in your next post you will have to be very specific as to what you do see or how you have your iTunes set up because that's where it should be according to default settings.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

it always switches itself on after i update. it just did again, this time for 7.1.2.. i t also will switch on after a restore.
i never use bluetooth and make sure it's not on for any other reason.

New computer with lightroom 5.7 installed old computer has 3.6 installed.The new version has a conflict when trying to read the external harddrives.Old sees it as drive (I) but new sees it as drive(E).When I try to rename external drive it comes up as LaCie (E) (I) so I cannot get it to change the name for lightroom to read it with all the previous edits-please help all advice appreciated.

cannot re enable the add ons after the new 13.0.1 update ,it shows no update available and all the add-ons are disabled

I can reenable them but FF will disable them on the next startup. I uninstalled version 13 and installed version 12. Problem gone! So I'm still using version 12 and am afraid to update to version 13.
This problem began when I was trying to research and fix a problem (no history all-of-a-sudden) so it probably was something I caused. Can't recall everything I did though.
