After the new IOS for Ipad the words with friends app will not let me sign on (it says item I wish to buy is no longer available????) I uninstalled it but when I tried to install it still repeats (item you wish to buy...) Help
After downloading the new IOS for Ipad I cannot use Words for Friends from Ipad. I uninstalled it but when I try to reinstall it pops up with "item you wish to buy is no longer available".
I suggest trying the update again after an hour or two. Sometimes, the notice that an update is available comes an hour or two before the developers actually sends the revised app out to be downloaded.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Download them to iTunes abd then sync the apps. Make an appointment with Apple and see what the problem is. -

I installed the new iOS6 and when I try to connect to wifi it directs me to a non-active link on apple.com and doesn't let me go anywhere from there.
go to settings>Safari>Turn on Private Browsing
make sure to close all browers.
Connect to your wifi
then you can turn off private browsing if you want. -

The feature has been removed to make safari even less useable. You need to download a third party browser like atomic web browser to get the functionality you want back.
Like many new IOS 7 "features", safari on the ipad is a FAIL.
At least you can now bury safari in a folder containing hundreds of icons that you can only view 9 at a time. -
I have just updated my i phone 4s with the new ios 6 software and most of my apps have disapeared when i got to the app store and search for an app i cant find i click on it and it says the app is installed. but i cant find it in my apps if i double click on it it opens. Any ideas?

Words w friends is freezing up on the new iOS 7 software, the screen freezes leaving a black open space and doesn't fix itself.
Probably an issue with the App itself, not with iOS 7 or your iPad. There will probably be an update coming out soon as there are many people having issues with that App
