After TM backup CS6 prompts me for a code. I enter the one I was given, and it says its invalid. Even though this code is shown as registered in my Adobe profile

I have been spending a week or two trying to resolve this issue with customer service. After giving them one proof after another, they said my case was "closed" and passed me on to you. The case number is #0215298380 hopefully you can access that and all my submissions of proof of purchase, proof of employment, etc etc etc.

I had a similar situation with my Macbook Pro and just had success taking a little twig and cleaning out the inside of the magsafe port, especially in the corners. (I didn't mess with the pins.) The port didn't look especially dirty beforehand—just a little buildup—but I could tell a little difference visually after I "swabbed" out any sign of gunk.
In case anybody else is interested in the unorthodox method, I used a tiny twig with the end broken off so it was soft with the exposed wood fiber. After rubbing a little, it compressed noticeably so I broke off the end again so that it was frayed a little and could get into the corners. A toothpick would probably work similarly.
FYI, before I cleaned it out, the top charge status icon *would* show that it was plugged in but it wouldn't charge. There was no light on the magsafe plug. I had unplugged/replugged the socket and had re-situated the magsafe several times.

    Refusal of a card is based on information provided matching what is on file from your credit card provider. If it is refused, it generally means something is not matching. That can inclue the name, the address or other information. It has to be exact to match. If you check your credit card bill to make sure you are spelling the name correctly, the address is listed correctly, and yes, ST is different than Street, and it still does not work, contact iTunes support. http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

    In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
    That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
    Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
    Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
    While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.

    Using Photoshop CS6 and after printing approx. 10 cards on an Epson R3000 printer the program gives me a dialog box saying "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents."  Even after closing and reopening the program, the print command is greyed out so I cannot select any printer. This also happens with a Brother laser printer. Both printers will produce a test page out side of the Adobe product. Help!

    I cannot get any help either.  I get the message "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents."  I have reinstalled all drivers, powered off/on all printers (2 of them - a Brother HL - 4040cn and an Epson Stylus Pro 7890 - which all worked fine until this morning).  There appears to be no path to a solution.  I have read all the forums and tried about 20 different suggestions all to no avail.  Reboots, changing cables, reinstalling printers and drivers and Photoshop CS6 - ALL TO NO AVAIL.  On a macbook pro retina with 10.10.3.  This issue is out there and some get solutions - but not all - that's my crowd...the not all crowd.  I have yet to be able to print from CS6 any more.  This is a show stopper and my patience is wearing thin.  And I'm tired of stupid questions like "is your printer powered on?" give me a break.  This appears to be an adobe photoshop cs6 problem - as I can print from every other application.  Anyone have any ideas?  Adobe should have something?...     If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

    If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
    Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

    To change the ID:
    For iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (Receive At in iOS 5), tap the ID sign out, sign back in using the other ID.
    For FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>Facetime.
    For Purchasing, do this in Settings>iTunes & App Stores (Settings>Store in iOS 5).
    For iCloud, you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account.  Before deleting the account, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll or you will lose them.  To do this, open the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.  Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On iPod.  Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom).  Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge.  This will upload the data to the new account.
