After updating to iOS 8.0.2 my iPhone is stuck in a loop of showing me the loading apple logo for about a minute, then the screen goes blue and the process starts over.

I can turn the iPhone off by holding down the power button and releasing when i see the blue screen. Your iPod has dropped into Recovery mode. You'll need to restore it via iTunes on your computer.

I can see if we can get your phone back on! I understand how important it is to have a phone. Have you tried this to see if we can get it back on? http://vz.to/1DZhteH . If it is still goes to a red Verizon screen and then to black we might need to do a master reset. While the phone is off try this:http://vz.to/1DZhXkU Be mindful this is the last resort because it will erase everything on the phone. If you have done back up assistant in the past you will be able to get you contacts back. Please let me know if you need any more help.

I am assuming the phone was working prior to you installing IOS 6? Did you use itunes to install IOS 6 or just run from the phone?
When I tried to do the Over The Air update to IOS6 on my iPhone 4, it errored out and I had to connect it to iTunes and select "Restore" from the summary screen after iTunes finds the phone is connected. If this works for you, it will go through a couple of reboots that take a few minutes to complete. It should then give you the option to start with a fresh new phone or to use one of your previous backups to load your contacts and other information, provided you have backed up the phone previously.

It seems to be happening more and more frequently, especially when loading apps, or trying to watch a YouTube video. I try to open safari or youtube again and it will often crash several times before it may or may not decide to load for me. It is extremely annoying and getting to the point where I can not use it

Standard troubleshooting steps in order are as follows:
Power the iPad off and on.
An iPad reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
Restore your iPad with iTunes from your iPad's backup.
Restore your iPad with iTunes as a new iPad or not from your iPad's backup.
If no change after the last step, your iPad has a hardware problem.

I took it to the Genius Bar, and they identified it as a hardware issue. Just got it back today. Parts replaced were:
620-5629 Display Module — Symptom: Distored/blurred/focus video issue
605-3284 Top Case with Keyboard — Symptom: specific key(s) do not work
So far so good. I'd suggest taking it in and not trying to work around it — it's a rare hardware issue (given the number of threads about it) and should be replaced.

hummm never had it do that till I upgraded last week PLUS I lost all my Favorites/Bookmarks that really pissed me off my husband and I lost ALL of them I have had them for years and I upgrade and lose them can't even tell you how mad we were 8o/ very frustrating to say the least. That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the hard drive data is somehow corrupted.
Put your install DVD into the drive and reboot. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option key until the Install Disk shows up). That will force your MacBook to boot from the optical drive.
Once it has finished booting and you are at the Install screen launch Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is then select the First Aid Tab run Repair Disk and if that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.
