After unistalling CS 6 there are still many Adobe product folders on drives & files
Do I delete these before doing a fresh re-install? They are spread across a couple of drives & contain older versions that have been upgraded. Someone please help - an Adobe staff member left me hanging halfway through this process.

Please organize osx launchpad icons in CS6 collection(there are too many adobe icons)
Adobe applications create too many icons in launchpad on osx. Is there a way to automate organising them in a more elegant fashion? Launchpad gets full of red adobe icons(2 pages of them) especially if you have master collection installed. Please put them all in one folder or something.

How can I get my iPhone 4 to update my updates from my app store of it keeps telling me error 3150 or it tell me to refresh the page after updates and the updates are still there asking me to update them again?
Make sure iTunes on the computer is logged into the account on the phone.
Plug the iPhone in.
In the popup window warning about wiping your phone, hit cancel.
In the left pane of iTunes, the phone icon should be there.
Right click on it, select transfer purchases.
Note: this will only transfer music bought from iTunes. Not mp3's from amazon or ripped from CD's. -
After turning off the notification switches of some apps in notificaton center, there are still notifications. I'm confused. Why?
Just guessing, but I would think, as I look at mine, that it might have to do with when the apps were added to the device. To be honest, identifying this as a bug might not be correct. After upgrading to 7.0.4 yesterday on my iPhone 4, there are still 7 apps that are waiting to download, including Facebook. The phone was plugged in for 12 hours and it has had a Wi-Fi connection for most of the 24 hours. Is there anything I can do? These are apps I use frequently. Thanks.
this is not phone or OS problem . its only your router DNS transfer function problem
I have resolved the problem by myself. I just figured out that the problem due to the DNS transfer function in my router. If I set the iPhone 4S to use the DNS server as 192.168.1.1 which is also the ip address of my router it will have the problem until I set the DNS to some common DNS service, such as 8.8.8.8 from Google. I think it is the problem of compatibiliy between the iOS and the router.
GOTO SETTINGS>>WI-FI>>click on informatio button(i) of your network>> change DNS to 8.8.8.8>> return

As you can see, in this photo I have the "Sync Music" button unchecked and yet when I sync my phone (in the hopes that I will be getting rid of all the songs) there are still 223 songs left on my phone, taking up space that I need.
How do I truly get rid of these songs, or is this just a weird glitch? I would have assumed that by unchecking "Sync Music" that meant there would be no more MUSIC left on my phone, but that is not the case.

If I understand your post correctly, you are wondering why you still have songs on your iPhone even though you have disabled music syncing in iTunes. After disabling syncing, did you press sync to then apply those sync settings? Are the songs on your iPhone ones that you have downloaded from iTunes in the Cloud?
You can manually delete songs from your iPhone by following the steps below.
Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

Photoshop CS5.1 Extended: Could not complete your request because there are too many Files Open
I saved a file last night and now this morning I get an error message stating: "Photoshop CS5.1 Extended: Could not complete your request because there are too many Files Open. Try closing some windows and try again.". I've rebooted the system and made sure Photoshop was the only program running and that there were no other files open prior to trying to open my file. I increased Photoshops ram usage, checked the OpenGL settings, 3D and VRAM settings, cleared my temp files and am at a loss for opening this file.
System Specs:
Win 7 64
6 core I7 processor
32gb Ram
3GB VRAM
600gb free space on 7200 rpm drive
File specs:
1 3D object replicated maybe 5 times (yes, I should have rasterized them, and will do that to 4 of them if I get the file open)
Maybe 8 textures
Not sure how many total layers.
Is there anyway to get Photoshop to reopen this file?No, more VRAM is useless. I had the same thought as you so I tried with a friend's computer with 3GB of VRAM for 8GB RAM (mine has 1GB VRAM for 16GB RAM). Still got the same error message. Sorry guys but our files are lost until Adobe fix the error in Photoshop code. I hope in the future they will find a way to either fix this error or give a clear limitation, it is really a shame such a dangerous problem exists and persists for more than 3 photoshop gen.
Still you may be able to have at least a flat image of your latest file by trying to open the file as smart object. I started my work over by doing that. Not a lot but better than nothing.
However for my new file I am trying something different : Each time I think a 3D file is final, I do not rasterize it but make it into a smart object and save the new smart object into a single separated .psd file. If any change is needed I can still edit all of my 3D objects by opening them separately. So far it works, the global file is lighter with few to no 3D objects inside but I will not say it is a 100% no-risk method yet.
Last advice I can give everyone : Before closing the file you are working on, save it as a copy (File / Save as... and check 'As copy' in the options below) then with your main file still open, try to open the copy. You may need a lot of memory if your file is heavy but still if the dreaded error message appears when you try to open the copy then remove or rasterize some 3D objects in your main one. Save again as copy and try to open the copy until you do not get the message anymore. -
After importing and rendering images are still very slow to go through and develop. No issues in LR 5.3 which was very fast. Canon,Nikon, Leica and Fuji files all rendering slow. iMac 2.9 ghz 16gb RAM OSX 10.8.5. Catalogs and images are kept on external drives. Drives running fine. Really need a fix on this since I'm norally imported and processing at least 4,000 images per LR Catalog. Is there way to revert back to 5.3? I can't use 5.4 is its current state. Thanks.
Download LR 5.3 and install it
By the way, lots of people have this complaint about LR 5.4, and the advice I give is to use LR 5.3 unless you need one of the new camera models supported by LR 5.4 -
There are still no BW systems connected to the Datasource

We are currently implementing BW retail project and trying to retrieve POS data using IDOCs through PIPE but we are facing a problem when we try to process idoc from POS workbench (/POSDW/MON0).We are sending idocs(WBUPON- POS interface: Upload sales docs (receipts) non-aggregated) using transaction we19 and then when we go to the POS workbench and try to process related idocs choosing supply bw immediately ...etc option after this we are getting the following error with a message class RSQU and message no 10.
<b>There are still no BW systems connected to the Datasource</b> I am working on BW side with datasources such as 2LIS_43_poscas and 2LIS_44_posrec.
Our system is SAP BI 7.0 with support package level 12.Can you please suggest something on this problem

However, the following messages were returned during the process

I checked and there indeed are many symbolic links.
I have checked ML for this and no luck.

I am copying the applciation directories from TEST to DEV.
I have copied the iAS directory from TEST to DEV using the tar (appcldev user)
Now with the appdbdev user, I try to do the same and I get an error with tar:
tar: 0511-169 A directory checksum error on media
After checking for the solutions and fining nothing that could help me, I am now simpy copying using the cp -RP.
Now I have (i know this is a UNIX thing) on the target system:
iAS directory that was copied using tar (for appcldev user)
iAS directory where symbolic links were preserved (for appdbdev user)
Is this difference acceptable vis a vis cloning? Or should I go back to the appcldev user and recopy the iAS directory with the cp _RP option?

Hi, I'm moving my site from MobileMe to Filezilla and there is apparently a coding error on iWeb that means when I try to get onto my site there's no access online and it says there are too many redirects. Anyone have any idea what this might be?
Well, firstly Filezilla is not a hosting company but an ftp client that helps you upload your site to your new server. You need to purchase a new hosting account first though.
If you have iWeb 09 then you can publish directly to your new host and you select the publish to ftp option and not MobileMe - MobileMe won't be here after tomorrow.
You can also publish to a local folder if want to and use Filezilla to upload your site to your server.
You don't need re-directs as MobileMe won't be here so you need to cancel and delete your domain name from your MobileMe account and then cancel any domain name forwarding that you have at your domain name registrar - that is what the redirects are about.
Firstly ensure that you have your new hostings account - Filezilla is not a host, rather an ftp client that you use to upload your site. -

...when I attempt to add more than 50 lists in the Reminders app. I had a similar issue in Mavericks. Is this "50" number available to modify in a config file somewhere?

WHy not open fore flashplayer. I'm starting to hate my iPad because og it, ther are so many tings i cant see and do on internett because flashplayer cant be installed on ipad.i hate it!!!
IT's up to them to redo their pages to be more compliant with the rest of the internet. Flash, as a program, is like a VCR. Still usable, still functional, but its days are numbered....may be numbered in the thousands, but its a program that people literally block and disallow from their computers. As far as some are concerned, it's legal malware.
I personally love the fact that I can avoid all those '2 meg take over your browser and screen' ads with my iPad. It is frustrating to find polls and the such that don't function, but that's when I just pull out hte laptop and use that. And on any given day I run my laptop with flash deliberately turned off and blocked...and its's amazing how fast the internet is without all the massive ads.
There are some browsers in the app store that work with some flash sites (there's none that are universally compatible....part of the problem with Flash as a program, it doesn't even work consistently from comptuer to computer)
Skyfire and Photon are two names I've seen recommended. You can give them a try and see if they work for you. -

Several click boxes on screen but only one failure caption appearing
