After update 6.1.3 email keeps crashing and battery life is being eaten up after restoring my IPhone 5
After the newest update my email app keeps crashing. When I deleted the account and tried to log back in it would crash and I couldn't log back in. So I tried to restore my Iphone and it fixed some of the other problems I was having however not the email problem. And now it has created a new one, my battery life is bing eaten away far too quickly! If anyone can help please try!!
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

I also had the problem of a disconnecting wifi while my imac was sleeping. I did not have the reconnecting issue after sleep, but the lost connection issue during sleep which made it impossible to reach my imac for things like homesharing, apple tv or remote desktop. I have a late 2012 iMac with a clean ML 10.8.2 on it and wirelessly connected to an apple time capsule (same as an airport extreme). My partner has a mid 2007 iMac, also with an ML 10.8.2 on it.
I tried every single solution I could find on the internet, such as changing the router's security from wpa2 to wpa, changing the MTU from automatic to manual 1453, router reboots, re-installations, re-configurations, keychain clean-ups, everything.
Eventually I solved my problem with these steps and now it works as a charm. I can still find the iMac with the remote app, even after 12 hours of sleep:
My time capsule router is set on automatic MTU and encrypted with WPA2 and I use the 5Ghz network!
1. Cleaned all the wifi passwords in keychain on my iMac
2. Created a new network location in system preferences
3. In this location I deleted the bluetooth pan and bluetooth dun connection.
4. In this location I changed the preferred connection-order to wifi on #1 and ethernet on #2.
5. Restarted my iMac.
Now I still have a connection when it sleeps and I can wake it to low profile using the remote app (homesharing) and everything works fine.

After updating to SL10.6.8 dock crashes and unable to click after sleep
This is a strange problem that I noticed the other day.
Whenever I open the lid of the Macbook (Intel Core 2 Duo) and it awakens from its sleep I can no longer click on anything and the dock disappears completely.
I can solve this by restarting, however this only seems to work 80% of the time.
I have only just updated to Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Has anybody else had a similar problem?

Thank you!Well, I hadn't rebooted after the 7.1.1 upgrade, but obviously I had to restart iTunes. After I rebooted my iBook iTunes worked... Maybe the 7.1.1 update should be marked with a must reboot?

My email keeps crashing on my pc? Each time I open my mail account and select to compose a new email, the account freezes up and eventually I have to kill the page in order to get out of it. Any fixes??
I have been working with AppleCare since I originally posted and I am just now getting this resolved (not a knock on AC - I have been out on business some during this period). At this point I am not sure I can provide the root cause, not sure I know. We tried a mix of many things such as:
- We tried deleting rebuilding, restoring and sending stuff toe Apple's engineers.
In the end the thing we fixed it by performing the following steps most suggested by Apple Engineers:
1) Disconnecting all my iThings (iOS and OSX) from my iCloud keychain, deleting my icloud keychain from all devices in the process
2) Moving the Mail folder from the User Library Folder to the Desktop (or other location).
3) Went into each of my email accounts using a web interface (so logged into iCloud.com and access email there) and moved email from the inbox of the account to a separate folder. This is in case there was something in an email that was causing the issue.
3) Started Mail and re-create all my email accounts in Mail.
4) At this point after everything was stable on each computer for several days I reconnected iCloud Keychain on all my devices (iOS and Mac OSX)
5) Pulled the email you find in the folders I kept in "On My Mac" from backups and imported them into Mail. Have been stable for two days at this point.
If you have the time, patience and are not sure of what I did I'd recommend AppleCare they were patient. If you want more detail from me about what I did don't hesitate to post again I can provide more details. In the end I think something got corrupted, and passed around through the iCloud keychain (which is different from the local keychain on your computer!) and maybe even in an email.
FYI I used AirMail on my Macs during this period without Mail and while it doesn't have rules I found it a pretty good substitute for Mail and it definately saved my bacon.

does my IPad keep crashing and restsarting following IOS7 update?Immediately after installing iOS 7, my sister’s iPad 2 started crashing during ALL apps and restarting. She couldn’t go for longer than 10 seconds without a crash.
Took it to Apple Store and they did everything to try to fix it, and nothing worked, including:
Erase all content and settings and restore from back-up.
Erase all software and firmware, set up as new, did NOT restore back-up, and install iOS 7.
It kept crashing. So it was an internal problem with the iPad that wouldn’t work with iOS 7.
Her iPad 2 was out of warranty, but because of the software issue making it impossible for the device to work, they gave her a new one! Installed iOS 7 at the store (were there for 4 hours!) and the new one is working fine. -
update to IOS 6 has been a nightmare. Facebook would allow me to save pictures unless I granted access to my foto album. Does this mean my pictures are going be planted all over the web? The safari keeps crashing and loading is slow. Most infuriating is that YouTube was deleted from my entertainment apps and I now have to pay for it if I want it back!! This is a bloody disgrace.
Back up all data.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.

After updating iTunes to 11.0.1.12 and updating Apple TV to 5.1.1 my Apple TV is no longer picking up my photo library. It just keeps saying "loading library" but never brings the pictures up. It also tells me that home sharing isn't on even though it is and then I have to turn it off and on on the PC so the Apple TV even recognizes the photo library. These issues didn't happen with previous versions. Any ideas?
Update on my previous comment. I have solved my issue. Issue was with Windows 7 firewall not operating correctly. I was unable to add itunes to the 'Allow programs to communicate through windows firewall'. Followed the instructions to the foot of the page, restarted PC, normal service resumed on windows firewall, added itunes to list to communicate through firewall. restarted itunes, restarted appletv, success!!!

Running Mac 10.5.8 Updated to FF 8.0 - keeps crashing whenever FF opens - can not launch safe mode either - looks like many people here are having same issue - solutions all keep saying it has something to do with roboform 7.6.2 (which is for windows) or the profile. I have created new profile and updated the mac roboform - still no luck - have sent in MANY crash reports with no response ( one was Crash ID: bp-0eea6eb2-aba3-478a-bfb1-8f00d2111110 ) - anyone else find solution other than roboform or profile, or how do i get back to prior version?

I sent an email to someone, it came back with a message saying delivery notification faliure, when I tried to delet this message from my inbox it keeps crashing and wont allow me to delete it??
i think.... It is crashing because it has no memory to move around. suggest - resync with your 'puter. on the photos tab, do not reload (sync0 a bunch of the existing photos, and deal with them - deleting or otherwise - on you computer.
Otherwise - you have no option but to remove stuff from the pad - music, apps, videos etc to give you enough space to move. -

The startup disk may need repairing...
Startup your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys.
From there you should be able to access the built in utilities in OS X Recovery -

The update failed - using a USB to microUSB lead (that Apple annoyingly don't include!), try to restore the AppleTV software to current version software using instructions here:

Pay attention to differences in power connection depending on whether or not you have AppleTV2 or AppleTV 3.
