After Update, Apps Freeze

I recently did the new update on my iPod touch and when I open other apps they'll sometimes just freeze or quit. Is anyone else having this problem or have a solution? I really don't want to have to make a trip to the apple store.

Be sure the app will work in your OS version, by checking the iTunes listing. I had an app that froze, but it just needed the updated version.
As mentioned previously,
1)Connect your device to iTunes
2)In the right pane, Apps tab, unselect the App (so it's removed from the device)
3)Sync
4)Reselect the app for syncing
This has also worked for me.
Also do try resetting your ipod.

Try resetting your iPad > iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If that doesn't help, restore to factory settings.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Easiest way to clear list is; go to settings>general>date and time and set date manually to a point at least one month in the future (I set mine to two months ahead) and then open App Store and check for updates. The list should now be clear. This is just an update history list. When finished just turn on auto date/time or set it back manually if you like and list should still be clear. If you do nothing the updated apps should start to drop off the list in about two to three weeks.

After update itunes freezes will not burn playlist to disc

After I updated to the latest itunes, I cannot burn a playlist to a cd: message is Disc drive or software not found then itunes freezes up so I have to force close and start over. Any one else have this problem? Any ideas on how to fix?

after update mine now freezes when i switch to miniplayer, download apps, halfway though a song. in short it's unusable.
hope i can find a way to do a roll-back.

How to get rid of update icon after updating apps

So, since updating to iOS 7, I've noticed that any apps I update now show a small round blue icon next to the app name.
I get that this is supposed to let us know which apps have been updated, but is there any way to get rid of them all at once?
So far all I've seen is that you have to open each updated app one at a time to get rid of it.

Itunes crashes after updating apps - auto update of all apps doesn't work

hi!
i just upgraded to the new itunes 9.0.3 for WinXP and still have the same two problems. iphone is also on OS 3.1.3
1.) when there are more iphone apps to update i try to use the update all button, but i nearly never work - everytime an error message pops up (something like unexpected error try again later) and i need to update all the apps manually
2.) after manual update i switch to the iphone tab of itunes. when i now change to the programs app, itunes either freezes or crahses instantly.
when i load it up again i have some ghosts in my programs folder in itunes - all the apps that were updated have a second, grey icon. i need to delete all of them manually.
this is happening in 90% of all app-update procedures - what's the problem here?

Well, b noir, some folks have to use that "workround" as standard operating procedure.
If it persists, Darth, I suggest you contact Apple about it....the more folks who bring this to their attention, the more likely something will be done about it.

I don't have much advice about the crashing/freezing when you go to the apps tab of the iphone, other than not to sync when you're in a hurry.
This has also been reported. Several folks said if they left it alone (for what seemed like hours) the tab finally displayed. Seems itunes is having problems drawing all the apps icons, since there is no list view for the iphone. That problem has also been seen when a lot of movies were getting synced and going to the iphone's movies tab - it takes itunes forever to draw the first frame of the movie.
It was also seen in v7 when the apps windows (on the PC, not the iphone) only had the grid view. A later release made it so apps could be shown in list and cover flow.

I had a message to upgrade my version of Itunes so I clicked on the button to do this. During the download it stopped, coming up with an error message stating "This app failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found reinstall may fix problem" then after clicking on ok I get another box with the message "Error 7 (windows error 126)".
I have tried uninstalling every apple application I have then reinstalling them and still get the same message. Can anyone help?

HT5313 After update Mbps freezes afteracouple of minutes. What is fix?????

I justupdated one MVP to osx10.7.5 and it freezes after being on for a few minutes. How can I undo? It will not stay operational long enough to restore from backup. Tried safe start nut will not stay operational to restore.

UPDATE: After having had my iPod plugged in for TWO HOURS, it has finally been detected by iTunes.

After update software freezes and other troubles

I installed the latest update from apple little over a week ago. I also started having these issues about the same time:
I`ll just list my problems:
-Firefox, Adobe CS5, Preview, Adobe Reader, iTunes and just about any other program freezes or crashes frequently. Several times a day, even several times a session.
-When I try searching for downloads/updates, updater crashes.
-When I open a pdf I have recently created myself, it shows just fine. When I try to open a pdf I have downloaded, the program crashes (so far I have tried iPhoto, preview and adobe reader). The last time I know* this worked was in late December, around new years.
-My cursor has turned sloppy, dropping objects or just disappearing. This applies to both the mouse and my tablet.
-Everything runs super slow.
I did a full backup and housecleaning routine in mid December, so there is ample space on the disk and everything was working ship-shape until after that download.
It might be coincidence, but at least the dates are matching up.
I have tried to reboot, I have tried to give it a nights rest and I have tried to boot in "safe-mode". So far nothing helps.
Any pointers, suggestions and help at all is deeply appreciated!

After reading through the forum I also tried to download and install the 10.6.6 combo, but I am unable to open it. on the plus side: now I get an error code! -10822.
On the down side: I have no idea what this (or any) error code means!
Any tips?

Just installed CC - Apps won't launch after updating App Manager v7.0

I keep getting a couple different error messages after installing Creative Cloud for the first time.
I should mention that I accidentally uninstalled the Adobe Application Manager, but then updated to v7.0

Mac OS X 10.7 and later
Remove AdobeAAMDetect.plugin from HD Library/Internet Plugins/.
Relaunch the browser.
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password and download the Creative Cloud Desktop Application.
Widows 7 and 8 (64 bit)
Using explorer, navigate to \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
Relaunch the browser.
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password and download the Creative Cloud Desktop Application.
Windows 7 and 8 (32 bit)
Using explorer, navigate to \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe and rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
Relaunch the browser.
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password and download the CC Desktop App.

All Documents Numbers, Pages & Keynote missing after update Apps, What's the solutions for that problem?

I am using ipad 2 Wifi + 3G 64 GB, I had updated my ipad from ios 4.1.3 to ios 7.0.1 three week ago.
After that All aplication and all file can be opened properly well.
The problem came after I updated Keynote, Pages & Numbers, all files could not be opened & all file name is change from alphabetical to numerical. All file content 2 type of file, 1 BuildVersionHistory and the other one is index.
if i open the file ... spreadsheet can't be imported... the file format is invalid
or in Pages...
document can't be imported... the file format is invalid...
If I want to share that document via icloud ... Can't Send Spreadsheet.. To send this spreadsheet, open it in Numbers for iOS first.
In other case... I create a new file in Pages, Numbers or Keynote.. but all the new files can't view in Tab Apps when my ipad is connected to my mac pro via iTunes. If I create a file using other aplication (example using DocToGo), a new file that is created can be seen directly in iTunes Tab Apps DocToGo.
in this morning when i open Numbers all my files are disappear including new file without the reason at all, please give me the best solution. I need your help very very urgent.... since my working datas is very very important.

There may well be circumstances where documents in the cloud doesn't work for some people.
I myself have projects like you do, however our circumstances may be different or I may simply organise myself in a different way.
I tend to use documents in the cloud for working documents in progress, once they are completed they are then filed away in a more appropriate location. I do not try to use documents in the cloud for syncing my entire work history.

What to do about: Delay in typing after update & Voicemail freezing?

After the software update to 7, lots of screwy things are happening. On my phone, I am unable to retrieve to about 25% of the voicemails I receive and cannot delete other voicemails, again, a portion of them. The voicemail page and contacts page freezes - a lot. Returning to the page after pressing the home button has no effect.
On my mother's phone, we are experiencing a significant delay between typing and then seeing the letter typed. Very frustrating. This occurs in contacts, dialing numbers, safari, whatever.
I would have assumed an update would come shortly, but it has been awhile and I am extremely disappointed with the new operating system. I don't like the look (reminds me of Microsoft!) and functionality and wish I could return to OS6. I'd love to hear others' thoughts on this.
