After Update ATV Displays Only Part of Picture

After the new update- 12/2/2010 when I try to sync photos over Home Sharing and show them as a slideshow it shows only some of the picture- the rest of the image is grey like in the old days when you would only get part of an image on a slow modem.

Yes- I've tried deleting the itunes cache in the folder, moving photos to a new folder, tried 2 different computers, and toasted the ATV and it still happens.
Inputing a static IP and your apple ID just to view photos is a huge pain. Am I the only one who feels herded when using Apple products?

Display only part of the STRING field, but search ALL field

Hi all,
I have a field VARCHAR2(4000) that holds a lot of text.
When I make a report in APEX, it shows in each row, ALL text, so the report is very "ugly".
I want to limit the display of that column for only the first 60 characters.
I tried to use the SUBSTR function, that worked, but the search option will search for the text only in that 60 lenght characters, and will now search in the rest (not displayed) part of the field.
Is there a way to do this full search and display only part of the field?

You can have the 'substring' column displayed to the user, but have another column which shows the full text lets say it has an ALIAS of "*SEARCH_LARGE_TEXT*" in the report definition(and is among the displayed columns).
You can hide the large text column(SEARCH_LARGE_TEXT) using JS as
$('th[id="SEARCH_LARGE_TEXT"],TD[headers^="SEARCH_LARGE_TEXT"]').hide()
Note: ^= syntax used to match data column even when break formatting used
You can make sure that the column stays hidden even after an IR filter or refresh by binding it to the refresh event of the IR by
$('#apexir_WORKSHEET_REGION').bind('apexafterrefresh', function(){
$('th[id="SEARCH_LARGE_TEXT"],TD[headers^="SEARCH_LARGE_TEXT"]').hide()
change the string "SEARCH_LARGE_TEXT" with your column's alias

Update item display only

Hi,
An item with 'display as' is 'display only' will not be updated (via a process after submit). But it will be updated when it is displayed as 'text field'.
How come?

Hi,
Though you have not stated it appears you are on Apex4.
By defaul the display items do not save state. If you want item displayed but the value to be set then edit the item and under setting make save session stae = YES.
This is the expected behaviour of display items as they default to does not save state.

It sounds like you’ve recently updated your iPad and now it’s disabled because the passcode you’re entering isn’t being accepted. I can imagine that would be frustrating. Take a look at the article linked below, it describes the alert you’re seeing and provides the possible resolutions for that issue.

Page displays only part of ivew.

Hi Gurus
We had created an iview which is displaying an Abap form, from
R/3 . we can see the same in preview of ivew.
But , as we add iview to page ,in preview(of page) we see only part of ivew i.e
form.But we need to display in full page.
We had checked in pagelayout.we have given the lay out as
Double-T(Top/Bottom-FullWidth;Middle-2equalWidth).
Please give me suggestions.

Hi,
To get it display in full page
Go to the iview proprerties(the iview which is assigned to that page).
Select 'Appearance - Size' from the drop down category
and set the height type to 'FULL_PAGE'. and Save.
This will solve your problem.

Can't receive normal text messages after updating to iOS5, only iMessages

Over the summer I bought iOS5 from a developer and had it on my phone for about a month until it crashed and I had to restore from a backup. So I put iOS5 back on my phone, and it crashed it again. I decided to wait until yesterday to put it back on, because it was legit and through Apple. Now I can't receive normal text messages from non-iPhone users. I'm only receiving iMessages. The only way to fix it is to turn off iMessage, but that's one of the main features of the update. Help?

i may put my iphone in the toaster tonight i am so $%#@!*^ frustrated.
i have an iphone 4 which i upgraded to ios5 about 4 days ago. yesterday, i realized i wasn't able to receive any text messages, but was (and am still getting imessages), along with the ever-so-vague 'sms mailbox is full, delete some text messages' alert.
so i came to the internet to find out about the supposed 15mb (75k*) limit. Apple's solution on their own site was 'hey, crazy hoarder, why don't you delete some texts?? there you go, EASY PEAZY!' except that didn't work...for me, and a ton of other people apparently.
i came down from 76something to around 67k.
I hard restarted, i ignored it, i deleted more texts, i bought phoneview, i deleted MORE texts, more restarts, NOTHING. it has now been 48 hours with no texts. NEED I ASSURE YOU THAT I AM A VERY IMPORTANT PERSON (as we all are).
so i backed up my phone (again, as i did before the upgrade), and restored it to factory nothingness. restart. restart. stare blankly. no texts.
then, i go to restore from backup (via itunes) so i can at least get all my contacts and whatnot back. lo and behold, my backup is gone. only the option to set up my 'new' iphone. i delay utter panic for a brief second and silently pray to the angel steve, sitting upon his giant white icloud, remembering that i actually paid for extra icloud space and backed up to that as well.
now i'm just waiting for it to restore AT LEAST my contacts, which it now seems to have done by the time i've typed this. PARTIAL crisis averted.
alas, i STILL am not getting any text messages. it seems that calling apple does nothing since apparently no one was told about this and/or how to fix this. i cannot receive text messages from my boyfriend, my parents, my colleagues who all are iphoneless and better off than me at this point.
i am leaving for a business trip in 12 hours. i'd like to figure this out before i put this thing in the garbage disposal or violently smash and use it's parts as confetti. although by the time i do, i will probably have lost all my friends and been disowned by my family for ignoring their jokes / emoticons / cries for help.
i fear apple has become a sentient being, and this is it's way of forcing all people of earth to use iphones...for there will be no other way to communicate with each other once we evolve and are all born with giant thumbs instead of vocal chords...hold me im scared...

After update ATV is very buggy and crashes often

Hulu tends to crash my ATV, usually 2-3 times during the course of a show. This is as bad as Roku.
I also get a very randon screen from time to time asking me for nonsense information. Anyone else getting either crashing from Hulu or the weird message as in the screenshot?
I own two ATV3 and one ATV2 and they all get the same error. Also, I was unable on all of them to even get into Netflix until I deleted all extra profiles via the Netflix site.

The View menu has the option for changing which side the Code View is on for Split. It should show as Design View on Left but that will only show if Split Vertically is also selected, otherwise it will say Design View on Top.

My Option window in Firefox displays only partly. I can't change the download folder. 'Browse' is not showing. And the Advanced tab is not showing either

General, Tabs, Content, Applications, Privacy, Security, Sync
The Advanced Tab is not showing and the Browse button to change download location is missing also.

If you are using an add-on theme switch to the default theme. If that isn't the source of your problem ....

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

SRM-Menu "Check status" displays only part of the relevant SC

When unsing funktion in SRM-Menu "Check status" the displayed SC are 11 (limited to last year).
In fact the number of SC is 81 when using function "Monitor Shopping Cart" (limited to last year).
Did any one face this issue beforeß what is a solution to show all corresponding SC ?
We use SRM_SERVER 550 (SAPKIBKT09)

Have the user id ( employ id ) ever deleted between this time period and have restored the same user id
again? Have u reassign this user id in Org structure also?
In this case tick on 'bought on behalf of ' of check status including tick on 'including completed shopping
carts'.
If this does not help then please analyse ( date, status, deleted/approved/rejected etc ) the SCs showing in Monitor SC and those showing in check status. I think details analysis might help u to slove your problem

HT201210 After updating iOS, I only see Hello screen on my iPad

I have gone through updating process and everything seemed fine, but now my iPad hangs up at Connected to iTunes. It seems iTunes on the PC thinks everything is loaded onto the iPad, but the iPad still want either set-up as new or restore from iTunes Backup.

Reboot ur ipad.......press both home&power buttons same time until you see apple logo come up and then release it,data is not effected.

I keep getting the " firefox is up to date " screen after updating, it usually only occurs once , but i can't get rid of it.

Every time i access the net two screens come up, one with my home site and the other with "Firefox is up to date", usually the later disappears after the first use, but it now stays there every time i try to use the net
