After update ,itunes cant play video
hi ,every body! , i ve got a problem & deffinitely need help with.
The problem:
After i install update , itune crashes when i click play video
does anyone have the same problem ?

Hi, First off sorry if this is posted somewhere else on how to fix this or what the issue is. I am not very computer friendly. I open iTunes and it said to update I did, well after I did update I cant play any video/movies of any kind. It pops up with a message saying the program isn't working and that Windows is shutting it down and will let me know when there is a soultion to my problem. Can some one please let me know what I can do to fix this? I have a HP Pavilion beyond that I have no idea if you need any other info. I do use windows. Thank you

After updating ITunes, it, ITunes started loosing my music files and stopped playing more than one song at a time also there would be duplicate songs in the same folders.What now?
Sound like something messed up somehow. Maybe you can consider reinstalling the drivers again? @28.86.2.0

Cant view multipage tiff files in browser after updating ITUNES
I can't view multi-page tiff files in my browser after updating Itunes. I am not sure why an Itunes update would stop the viewing of Multi-page Tiff files, but it did!
Is there a fix for this?
thanksThat's unfortunate. Are you stating that you have no backup of your media which is ultimately your responsibility?
Sorry, but if you have lost media and data and have no backup then the ONLY place to place blame is with the user that failed to backup those files. -
I recently updated my iTunes to 11.0.4.4. After doing this, my ipod touch 4Gen will no longer sync as it gives me a statement about the system not having enough memory left to sync ["The iPod...cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional 2.73GB required)"]. It has 7.96 GB free on a 32GB iPod. It synced just fine prior to the update and I did not add more than 7.96 GB of files to the library after updating iTunes. Please Help! This is a fustrating situation where I can not sync my music, or anything else for that matter, with this issue. Thanks in advance for all your help.

I tried the manual method. I was able to set the music/video to manual and then restarted the entire system. After restart, I re-attached the ipod touch to the computer. The sync automatically ran for everything that wasn't set to manual and it completed without a problem. I then reset the music/video to automatically sync and restarted the entire coputer/ipod set again. This time when I re-attached the ipod, EVERYTHING synced and there were no problems reported. I've never had to do this before, but I will keep it in mind if something like this happens again. Thank you for pointing me to the manual sync. -
After updating iTunes to 11.0.1.12 and updating Apple TV to 5.1.1 my Apple TV is no longer picking up my photo library. It just keeps saying "loading library" but never brings the pictures up. It also tells me that home sharing isn't on even though it is and then I have to turn it off and on on the PC so the Apple TV even recognizes the photo library. These issues didn't happen with previous versions. Any ideas?
Update on my previous comment. I have solved my issue. Issue was with Windows 7 firewall not operating correctly. I was unable to add itunes to the 'Allow programs to communicate through windows firewall'. Followed the instructions to the foot of the page, restarted PC, normal service resumed on windows firewall, added itunes to list to communicate through firewall. restarted itunes, restarted appletv, success!!!

ITunes not playing videos or movies
iTunes isnt playing video's or movies, but is playing the music of them. I need help! I just purchased music video's and they are not playing, only the sound is.
This problem cropped up for me yesterday. I had just copied a new video to my iTunes library and was testing that it worked properly, but while the sound was playing, the screen was black.
Pausing/pressing the Play button resolves the issue, until I select a new video/movie to play, when I have to do it again.
I'm running MacOS X 10.6.6 and iTunes 10.1.1 (4). I tried reinstalling iTunes, with no luck. I also tried the old mainstay of replacing the Preferences file, but that also didn't help.
There is ONE new wrinkle to this situation. Yesterday, I had installed a new app named AirView to stream videos over AirPlay to my iPad. This works fine, but after this, the issue cropped up, suggesting an AirPlay issue.
I have two iMacs, so decided to try this situation on the Kitchen iMac and played a video on this other iMac just fine, video and sound. I then started up AirView on the iPad and initiated the video stream to the iPad from the Kitchen iMac. The movie played fine on the iPad. I quit AirView and went back to try the video on the Kitchen iMac, and yes, the video now failed to display until I reselected Computer from the AirPlay menu at the bottom of the screen, or used the pause/play solution, even though Computer was still selected as the default in the AirPlay menu. Doing this once seemed to be enough to resolve the issue for playing all videos on the Kitchen iMac, but not on the Office iMac.
The only other difference between iTunes on these two iMacs is that one (the Office iMac) is running its videos from a FireWire 800 attached 2TB hard drive, while the Kitchen iMac's contents are on the internal hard drive.
Deselecting the AirPlay option in Preferences/Devices to start videos correctly on the Office iMac is not a solution, since this iMac serves as our home server for our Apple TV.
Since I have a practical option, however, and since this issue doesn't affect playing videos remotely using AirPlay, this is now a buggy annoyance, but no longer a problem for me. -

i have bought 4 new songs on my ipod touch from the itunes app, then i tried to sync my iod to my laptop after updating itunes to the latest version. My ipod will now no longer sync, what should i do?
- Try moving the backup file to a safe location so iTunes has to create an entire new one.. It is locate here and you may have to have show hiddn files turned on.
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

After updating iTunes this week Windows 8 recognizes the iPod but does not offer an option to open with iTunes. iTunes does not recognize iPod Touch. Have followed all the steps but without success. Is there a solution with iTunes?
I followed all the instructions on the suggested page. Many files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\ could not be deleted. Message said ""Cannot delete files: It is being used by another person or program"' but could not find iPodService.exe in task manager (also, the "Cannont delete ... " did not mention iPodService.exe).
Deleted all that I could. Reinstalled iTunes. Still same result. iTunes and computer both recognize my old iPod. Only the computer recognizes iPod Touch. -
After update, Itunes can't load. I get error message R6034, attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
I also get error code 7 (Windows error 1114), saying itunes wasn't installed correctly. It appears that I am not the only one with this issue. what is wrong with the latest update?? After updating itunes and Quicktime, every time I remove a CD from my DVD drives I get an error saying no disk exception processing message 0xc0000013 Parameters 0x759f023c 0x87f51934 0x759f023c 0x759f023c.
I tried doing a restore to a time before that update and that didn't seem to help. It just gave me different parameters.
I'm using Windows Vista and this is driving me nuts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.I also have the same problems as you guys after installing Corel Painshop Pro X12. I went into the task list and stop the CorelIOMonitor process and then the problem went away. I found out that you can disable this from starting up using System Configuration tool via Start -> Run -> msconfig
. It's an interm solution untell they fix it. Maybe someone needs to notify Corel or Apple to fix this problem. -

Home Sharing no longer working after updating iTunes
After updating iTunes on both my computers to version 10.7, the home sharing feature is now not working. One computer can see and access the other's library but the other cannot see its. I have checked the sharing preferences on both computers. Both have 'Share my library on my local network' and 'Share entire library' checked and neither are set to require a password. I have turned on home sharing from the 'Advanced' sub menu in the menu bar and both use the same Apple ID.
Any thoughts on how I can fix this. I think it is just a bug and should hopefully get fixed but maybe it's just me.I'm up and running. Spoke with Apple and they had me go to : preferences, network and create a new location. That seems to have reset something. I had to reset all my devices back to my main network that had stopped working. The guest network will not let Home Sharing work, only the main network.
Others have been able to use Home Sharing without clicking "Done" after typing in their password. After you click "Done" the Shared disappears in iTunes.
