Card slot does not work after yesterday update (14/10/2011)! It works with my SD card month ago, but now it dosn't!!!

Thanks for your suggestion. I downloaded OnyX and ran the cleaning function. After restarting, I opened Help and once again the first screen appeared fine. But again most of the links did not work, though those under the "What's New" heading did work. I might add that I had previously tried a variety of suggestions posted in another thread, which included deleting from the caches folder in Home>Library several files such as com.apple.helpui and help.plist in the Preferences folder. (As noted in my previous post this evening, I also created another user but that also did not have any effect.) Any other ideas? Thanks

Please go to Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Download, choose on drivers download page your notebook model and there you will find this driver. Click on the small red symbol at the right side to pick up info what it is.
Without many questions try to download and install this driver to see if this will help to make your flash card slot to work properly. You cannot do anything wrong.

Satellite L650-116 memory card reader is not working

The notebook supports an BRIDGE MEDIA SLOT which support this card formats;
SD Card 8MB-2GB
SD-HC 4GB-32GB

As you can see, the notebook is able to read max 2GB SD card.
The card reader will not read bigger SD cards.

I was downloaded drivers and installed in my laptop, but when i'm inserting memory card in to slot it is not showing any message in my laptop. But Green LED is blinking.

Although the best way to read your memory card, memory card readers can be a pain. I've had a few I've just thrown out. Make sure the USB connection to the port is fully seated. Make sure the memory card is fully seated in the reader. Do you have an SD card because the reader in the iMac is by far the most reliable I've used.

After I updated my iPhone 5s to IOS 8, I experienced some bizarre camera quality. When I am trying to take a picture the image looks very polarized and almost like its a cartoon drawing. Screen Flickering Everytime After Updating Synaptics Touchpad Driver And Touchpad Not Working

I have a HP ENVY 4 1023tu Notebook with Windows 8 Pro. I always keep my pc updated. But whenever i try updated the synaptics touchpad driver through availabe updates by hp support assistant, the screen starts to flicker(Start screen and settings bar at the right) and touchpad doesn't work . The external works fine. Then I have to roll back the driver . then it comes to normal. If the driver update is meant to be updated then why its not supporting...

I had the same problem as you with my Hp Probook 450 and I think I found a cause of the problem. I installed Windows 8.1 on it, and when I tried to install touchpad driver, after system restart my screen was blank. My problem is in AMD Radeon graphics card integrated in laptop. When I installed touchpad driver, the graphics driver somehow updated too. The problem is, that AMD only have beta driver for Windows 8.1, while the old one isn't good. So I had to start computer in safe mode and disabled graphics card in Windows device manager. Then I downloaded that beta driver and installed it (still with some small problems) So, the beta driver also isn't perfect, but it will help until they release final version. So I hope that helps you, or anyone, that might have similar problems.

After update to iCloud 2.0, iCloud not working in outlook.

After tonight's update to iCloud on my PC, the iCloud control panel tells me to "Repair the iCloud control panel to use with Outlook." I've gone through the repair process 10 times, and it still doesn't work. Clicking on Calendar or Contacts in Outlook results in an error that the file can't be read. The "Refresh iCloud" button in Outlook 2007 is gone.
I tried deleting the apparently bad data files in Outlook. That made all iCloud-related calendars and contacts disappear. I then tried the repair, but nothing changed. I uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud 2.0. That didn't help - same error message. Refresh iCloud button is still missing in Outlook. I ran Microsoft Office Diagnostics, and it found nothing wrong with Outlook. Note that the iCloud data files were not reinstalled when I reinstalled iCloud. I deleted and reinstalled iCloud again. Same result. I restarted the computer a couple of times throughout these reinstalls and repairs, but still nothing has changed.
Any ideas?
Oh - forget to say that on my other PC laptop, the update worked fine and iCloud is working. Only difference between the two computers is that this one that's having problems is 64-bit Vista Professional, and the one that is working is 32-bit Vista Home. Same version of Outlook 2007 on both computers.

Can you please tell me where you found a previous version of iCloud to download? I can not find a download that doesn't want to download a zillion other programs too
I also wanted to confirm with you that I have to first delete the new version of iCloud before I install the older version, correct?
Lastly, is there anything else I have to do other than delete the old and install the new? I'm not at all tech savy but desperate to have my phone and pc calendars sync again so I'm willing to try.....
