After update to 5.0.2, Apple TV can no longer see 802.11n WiFi networks
Dear all,
since the last update to Software 5.0.2, my Apple TV has been unable to see 802.11n/5Ghz WiFi networks, which worked fine prior to the update. Has anybody experienced this problem and found a solution to it? The device connects fine to other types of networks, but my main network is not even listed in the list of available networks, and can't be found by searching by name....

PS I'm also having problems with Home Sharing dropping the connection, which I never had with the previous software versions

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data doing a reset. -
After I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS7 I can no longer see the individual chapters when playing my audio books. Also I can no longer edit a and copy multiple text messages like before. Is there a way to do these things I am missing?
Not only can i not see the individual chaptes -- apparently like you and everyone else suffering through the "improved" iOS7 -- when my audiobook repeats a "file" within chapter, which it sometimes does, I cannot get "inside" the chapter and move forward to where I'm supposed to be.

SMS is a carrier feature, what did your phone carrier say when you contacted them about your issue?
Double check you have MMS turn on in message settings. -
Our help-desk is internal, secure website. We have used Firefox for our help desk software browser since we purchased the software. But after updating to version 12, clicking on a hyperlink no longer works but only for the help desk software. Pre-version 12 works fine. External sites are fine. IE executes the help-desk software fine. There is no error, it just never executes the hyperlink. It's like they're text. Where can I start looking? We'd prefer not to go to IE, but we are using it now to get by.
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

After updating my iphone 4 to ios5, i can no longer sync my phone??
I updated my iPhone 4 yesterday but my bought ringtones were removed from my phone after the upgrade. Attempting to sync my phone with my laptop to retireve them, i have found that I can no longer get my phone to sync? Any ideas or others having the same issues?
same problem here. Am very frustrated hopefully apple fixes this soon becuase my phone almost feels useless now because i cannot customise it with my own things from my computer! gah!

After updating old ipod touch to 3.1.3, can no longer hear it on old Bose Sounddock. How can I reverse-update to an older version? Or, is there something else I can do? I can hear the ipod on earbuds, but not on the sounddock.
All the monitoring is done through your sound device, not Audition. When you updated your PC, the sound device playback settings would have been reset. One of them includes input socket monitoring, and it's this that you need to reinstate. Since we don't know what sound device you are using, that's as much as we can tell you, except that if it's an internal device, you'll need to open the volume control options and alter it there. This varies between OS versions though...

After updating to 6.1.3, my iPhone can no longer connect to iTunes, or my computer at all.
Pretty much what the title says.
I updated my iPhone to 6.1.3, and ever since, it has failed to be recognised at all by my PC
Before I updated, it connected fine. After the update, the only thing that would show up is the charging screen, otherwise, no connection to iTunes, and not even recognised under My Computer or even Device Manager.
I replaced my cable, tried different USB ports, I tried re-installing iTunes, even went back a version. I then factory reset my iPhone. Still no luck, so I lost all my music/photos for nothing (my fault obviously for resetting, but not the point)
So ah, yeah. The latest "update" has actually ended up making things even worse
The big Apple has done it again!I've had the same problem. Updated last night and haven't been able to use the phone at all since then. Black screen, grey screen, light blue screen, pixelated screen, white screen with darkened corners, flickering screen, white stripe across screen, no connectivity to anyone's computer incl bluetooth. Recurrent dead battery. Occasional apple on screen.

After updateing iTunes on my Sony laptop I can no longer burn songs to a cd
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the newest update for iTunes many times and I always get the same message; the registry driver for importing and burning cd's and DVD's are missing. I had no problems before doing an update. I have ran the cd trouble shooter on tunes to diagnose the problem as instructed in the Help menu and when the button turns red it says it can't recognize the audio cd, but it will still import the cd.

After updating my iPhone 4S to iOS7 I can no longer connect it to my iCloud
I updated my iPhone 4S to the new iOS7 today. Afterwards I was asked to sign into iCloud, always was told it couldn't sign me in though. My connection works as I can access the Internet over Safari and can sign into iCloud online. So I am using the right username and password.
I have now managed to sign into iCloud but I still don't seem to be able to sign up my Apple ID for iMessage

I enter the webaddress in the toolbar but Firefox does nothing, it just locks itself. It only opens websites when I choose one from favorites.
That issue can be caused by an extension (possibly AVG Safe Search) that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Apple TV can no longer connect to network after upgrade.
I had heard that lots of people were affected with this problem with the software upgrade before this one so I deliberately waiting until this one came out before taking a chance. I was wrong.
After updating to 4.4. (3140) I can no longer connect to my network. It says there was a problem and gave the error messaged number: (5) in brackets.
I've had nothing but problems with both Apple TV's that I have owned, version 1 and this new version 2. I've a good signal from my router and I've used three different ones over the time I've had the two apple tvs.
Anyone got any ideas.
I can't connect the apple tv directly because they are too far apart in the house. I can only connect by wifi.

Unplug the router for 90 seconds.
I was running ATV2 with a Time Capsule. The TC thought the ATV was still connected using its former IP address so wouldn't let it reconnect with a new one.
