After update to new Pages 5 I now have 2 Pages Apps how to uninstall the old one?

I have Mavericks, went to see what Apps were on the list to update, and amonst those were iLife and iWork apps that I already had. I updated everything on the list. I had a folder with the latest iWork apps in my Apps section that are still there, however, Ihave Brand new iWork Apps showing up separately in the Finder/Apps area. I wish to either uninstall or remove the old version and am not sure whether to use on of my Apps like App Delete to remove the old one, or click on to the old one, and just delete the old app. Thanks for Advice on this. I believe thousands , if not millions of people must have the same question.

If you purchased a computer from another person, you need to wipe it clean. To do this, click on the link - Erasing disks securely

I would like to recover my bookmarks from my old hard drive that I now have as an external USB drive. The old OS was Vista; the new is Windows 7.

I recently had a new hard drive installed on my laptop; this hard drive has the Windows 7 OS on it.
At the same time, I had my old hard drive mounted in an SATB enclosure so that I could use it as an external USB drive. [I stupidly did not export my bookmarks before doing all of this]
Everything seems to work fine [I can see all of the files], but I cannot find out where my bookmarks are stored on the old hard drive.
Is it possible to find them and get them transferred over to the new hard drive??

Bookmarks are stored in a file called places.sqlite inside the profile folder. You can copy that file from the old profile folder into your current profile folder. I turned off my Imessage and then switched my Apple ID. Now I cant sign in or out of the old one. What should I do?

I use imessage most of the time. I didnt take it into consideration that i needed to sign out first. Now if I try to turn it on, it gives me my old apple ID. When I enter the password, it just brings the message up again. How can I sign out of it?

You may be able to change or reset the password on this old iCloud/Apple ID account, even if you no longer have access to the email address associated with it. Once the password is changed/updated, you should be able to log your iPhone out of the old iCloud/Apple ID account and log in to the correct new account. The apple ID can refer to either the iTunes store or iCloud accounts. I'll assume you mean iCloud. Go to Settings>iCloud. Scroll to bottom of page and enter your ID and password for iCloud.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
