After update to Safari 5.1 No cursor in Fishville
I have cursor issues While playing the Fishville game on Facebook or Yahoo. Once the game loads my cursor disappears. I thinks its a browser issue but not sure how to resolve it. I tried the game in both Firefox and Opera and the cursor works fine. I went played the game in my iMac G4 without cursor issues. The problem did not begin until the Safari update. The game require flash player; the installed preference is the same as with older Safari but it the most current offered by Adobe. Is the ADD ON incompatible with the new browser? IF so is there a way to change back to older version of Safari.
Could be worth trying flash player update.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Login problems after update to Safari 3.1
Hi, ever since I updated to Safari 3.1.0 I have been unable to login to any site that requests a login. I have checked if it has a problem with secure websites and I can load a secure page ie: https://www.verisign.com with no problem, also seems happy if I used any site that had been logged into before. The later no longer work after I cleared the cache and cookies to try to fix the login problem. I have run all updates so am on 3.1.2 with no change. Strange thing is, I can get to any site with login on Firefox and camino with out problems. Any ideas to help fix this as it's driving me nuts.
I have the same problem. I enter username and password and I get dumped back to the login screen. It isn't the username/password error screen, it is the original login screen.
I've reset/trashed everything I can think of but that hasn't helped.
Anyone know where I can get a 3.0 version? -

Anyone else having a problem accessing their wireless internet connection through airport after upgrading to Safari 4? I'm having severe trouble. This is the only thing I can think of - I installed the update last night, and this morning I can't access my own wireless network - my husband's computer and our Xbox and Wii still have access to the internet. Any ideas? It keeps saying "there was an error while trying to connect to the network."

Unable to open MS Office 2004 after updating to Safari 5.1.4
I was not having any problems until I updated my Safari to the latest version, 5.1.4. Now I can't get into any of my MS Office applications or my HP Director. I get a message saying "____ quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. This report will be sent to Apple automatically". But when I select 'Reopen' it keeps on returnng to that page which is filled with details that don't mean anything to me - lots of numbers and the repeated use of the word 'crash'. All I can do is select 'OK' which closes that box but doesn't open the apps.
I tried a safe start, verifying and repairing permissions, emptying Safari's cache. Nothing has changed.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. If you have any installed, turn that OFF, quit then relaunch Safari to test.
If it's not an extension, you may have one or more third party Safari plugins installed that were compatible with the prior version of Safari, but not 5.1.4.

3Try a restart.
Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
Try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear and again when you log in. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don’t do them all at once.

I am not able to take printout of any form in SAP. As soon as I press execute to see the print preview, the SAP terminates. In fact the logon window also disappears. Do I have to do some settings changes in SAP GUI. Plesae suggest. Thanks in advance
