After update trying to install apps it says it is installing then just disapears
After I installed the new update for my ipod touch it wont install any apps it acts like it is installing then it just disapears??????
I had this bug in iOS 5 for a while too. I then restored it, and had no more problems. I'd connect to iTunes and backup-restore. Good luck!

My iTunes won't update, it starts to install then just says it can't. I decided to try uninstall it but it won't even uninstall anymore, there is some type of ERROR going on. I tried to just install iTunes from the website and that won't even work. I'm using a Windows Vista.
Hi there,
I've got a couple of articles that may help you out. This first one goes over how to properly remove and reinstall iTunes.

This next one goes over some of the troubleshooting steps if you are having issues reinstalling iTunes.

After updating i cannot install or update all my apps and whenever i try this statement appears "your account is not valid for use in the japanese store. You must switch to the philippine store before purchasing. What should i do? Do i need to come back to the phil store every time i update?
Before when its still ios5 i can still download and enjoy apps even here in japan, but now after updating ios6 here, its stock, itunes store no more use from me.

TS1702 After updating to iOS 6, apps stopped installations and showing 'waiting'
After updating to iOS 6, apps stopped installations and showing 'waiting'
I can't delete and install again because there are almost 20 applications like this.
iPad 2 on iOS 6
I tried by restarting iPad. Still it's not working.
I have almost 20 applications showing in 'updates' in App Store. I selected 'Update all'. But iPad not installing those updates.
Thanks,
KumarIt's never a good idea to select Update All - IMO. That's when things start going wonky. Only one thing can download at a time anyway.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast, TV show .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream. -

After updating to Mavericks the apps store gives me the message "This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled." How do I still update apps such as iphoto??
What happened was you never accepted these apps into your Mac App Store account.
Drag & drop the apps in the Trash and use OS X Recovery to install them again. after installing the apps be sure to accept them into your account this time from the Purchases pane of the Mac App Store.

About the Mac
I recently updated to Yosemite and now I am having problems with the above mentioned apps, not opening at all.
I am unable to check to which version its update to, or even update to next version. You ran a defective third-party "utility" such as "CleanMyMac" or "MacCleanse" that purports to "clean up" "junk" files. What it really does is to corrupt the operating system and many applications.
The first thing you need to do is remove that software according to the developer's instructions. Never install it, or anything like it, again. Then see below. If you use any iWork applications, you may need to delete them and redownload them from the App Store.
If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) It will be nested below another icon, usually with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. Then quit Disk Utility to be returned to the main Recovery screen.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. The same goes for Xcode. All other data will be preserved.
*The linked support article refers to OS X 10.10 ("Yosemite"), but the procedure is the same for OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later. -

We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time. Please try again later, or cIf the iPhone was hacked and unlocked via unofficial means, it has become locked again. Insert original SIM in the phone to activate with iTunes.

Update tries to install on drive I don't have. What do I do?
Brucebre,
I am very sorry, but full versions of the ZoomBrowser program and other software originally packaged with your camera are not available for download. In order to install the software, you will need the original Solutions Disc and a CD/DVD-ROM drive.
If this is a time sensitive-matter, additional support options are available at Contact Us.
Did this answer your question? Please click the Accept as Solution button so that others may find the answer as well. -
Every time I try to update iPhoto or other apps it says I can not because I bought them under a different account but I didn't.
So the Mac you have did you buy it new or used?
If you bought it used you have to contact Apple and have it removed from the original owners name and Apple ID and then register it under your Apple ID.
The iLife apps on newer Mac computers, ones that came with Lion or newer version of OS X , are now tied to the Apple ID of the original owner. No other Apple ID and password can be used to do any updates on them or Re-Download them if you wipe the drive. That is until you have that Mac's serial number removed from the origiinal owners Apple ID. -

You're not talking to a team of Apple employees poised to jump on your question. We're all just users here, and we might be doing something else...
You cannot delete the App store App. It is somewhere on your Home screens, or you have dragged it into a folder. Any folder. If all else fails Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. -
bought ipone 4on eBay, tried to download app, put in password but rejected, then realised username was previous owners email address. can anybody help. thanks
Just sign the old user ouf of the store, and sign back in with your AppleID and password.
Just scroll down to the bottom of the store screen, click on the Apple ID bar, click on sign out, then sign back in with your AppleID.
Note though that if the phone already has apps on it purchased by the previous owner, those are permanently tied to the previous owners Apple ID - you would need their password to update any of those apps. The only option to you to update any of them would be to delete them, and purchase them yourself using your own Apple ID. -
After update I am no longer able to open email attachments by just clicking on the attachment. I now have to click control and then click open linked file. How can I open attachments by simply clicking on them?
Unless you believe middle-click is yours and don't like it being usurped, mine is set globally to "Enter".

After update Application manager shows app as not installed
Hi,
I've installed almost all creative cloud apps since day one and everything is ok.
But, after the last Adobe application manager update, I see "install" beside each app in application manager. I installed two apps after the update (lightroom and acrobat x) and these two are correctly displayed as "installed" (launch application button is now displayed).
This is not a big issue for me, but I'm wondering if this affects the automatic updates procedure. If the updater checks which apps are installed, he knows that I installed also the other apps or it will check only for Lightroom and Acrobat x (the two marked as "installed" in app manager)?
Thanks
AndyI'm having the exact same issue, and was also concerned about whether it would affect it showing me updates for my "installed" programs.

Hi all We have recently upgraded to BI 7.0 and using only 3.x datasource . We are in the process of upgrading our backend R/3 4.6c to ECC6.0. Question: Is there anything that we should be looking out for when we switched to ECC 6.0 on the backend?
