After updateing Firefox all my tabs open object moved so I have to diable plugins and run in safe mode which is a real hassel. What can I do to fix this?
I don't know what else to say other than I have had Firefox for a while and an update came up and so I updated and Firefox has not worked right since then. I open a tab and it comes back Object Move (here) or Object moved temporary or some such crap. I then have to to the Firefox control go to help and and restart with add -on's Disabled I have tried ever other setting listed and nothing changes this problem from happening.
Hmmm, Norton extensions are broken again in Firefox 4.0.1. It seems that Norton didn't allow for Firefox 4.0 security updates when they updated their Firefox extension for Firefox 4.0. Norton says they'll have a fix in two weeks. A Norton user posted a fix in this forum thread.

I updated my Adobe Acrobat 10.1.12 and now when I read a page on the Internet or in my email (attached Adobe file), I cannot open it up to read without downloading and then opening Adobe on my computer. There must be an easy setting somewhere that I'm missing, because my wife's laptop works when she shops on Amazon and she's using Firefox with Win7, as well. On my PC however, (IE) works just fine, but Firefox will not show images of the products I want to buy.

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

what can i do to fix this ??You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera, particularly before any update or restore.
If you have failed to do this, then they are likey gone.

After installing the latest itunes/quicktime update I can no longer acces the itunes store nad my iphone does not complete syncing. What can I do to fix this? The problem is with version 10.4.1. I had to reload 10.3 to get it to work. The recommendation from a previous poster worked for me. Here was their list of steps:
Go to Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall
2. Uninstall the following Apple programs in the following order:
a. iTunes
b. QuickTime
c. Apple Software Update
d. Apple Mobile Devices Support
e. Bonjour
f. Apple Appllcation Support
3. Reboot PC
4. Find, Download and Install iTunes 10.3 (you can find it at FileHippo.com)
If you start iTunes now you will get an error message saying that the current iTunes library was created by a newer version of iTunes. To correct this:
5. Go to your Music>iTunes folder and delete the "iTunes Library.itl" database file
6. Within this iTunes folder find and open the "Previous iTunes Libraries" folder and locate the most recently dated "iTunes Library (date).itl" database file.
7. Copy and Paste this file back into the iTunes folder
8. Rename this "iTunes Library (date).itl" file by removing the date. It should say "iTunes Library.itl"
9. Reboot PC -

Have you tried a hard reset yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, try a restore from an earlier backup in iTunes.

You might want to browse or search through that one and then create a new post there if you can't find an answer; I've heard of posts detailing problems with iLife applications if you either buy a used Mac or wipe/reinstall your OS. I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

I installed Yosemite and now my computer is slow when logging in. Also when I type my password, a bar appears measuring the process and then all of a sudden the screen images are distorted. After that my home screen appears and everything seems normal. What can I do to fix this?

I would like to inform you that not all the browsers and online PDF readers support copying text from a PDF. If you have opened the PDF online, please download PDF file to your computer and then open the file in Adobe Reader.

When I clear my history, Firefox clears my browsing and download history even though this checkbox is not checked. It didn't use to do this. What can I do to fix this? I believe the problem started with the last Firefox update.
Do you mean the "Form autocomplete" feature?
