After updating Apple TV from 1.1 to 2.0, no longer shows up in iTunes 7.6

My Apple TV was working fine with sw ver 1.0 and then 1.1.
After updating it to sw ver 2.0, it no longer shows up in my
iTunes 7.6 on my Powermac, running the latest Tiger updates,
10.4.11
I've been following the trouble shooting guide, and have power
cycled the Apple TV. I've ensured that the Firewall allows
iTunes, iPhoto, and Bonjour (UDP 5353) through. I've tried
disabling the Apple firewall.
I have not yet power cycled my computer, because it is busy
running iPhoto, importing my photos. I have not yet removed
and reinstalled iTunes. Will do both of those after iPhoto
finishes importing.
Any other suggestions?

Got it working!
Besides the Apple specified debugging items for ATV not showing up in iTunes,
I ran disk warrior on my disks, and repaired the permissions on my boot disk.
At some point, ATV running 2.0 showed up on iTunes. Then, it went away, and
would not come back.
I restored ATV to factory defaults, sw 1.1. This time, it did not show up in iTunes.
Found that at some point NetBarrier X5 decided that the ATV was a computer attempting a DOS attack on my Mac, and decided to drop all packets from the ATV. Fixed that, and got ATV 2.0 working with iTunes 7.6

After Updating OS X from 10.8.2 to 10.8.3, Startup screen always crashes. I also submitted to Apple bug reporter with the Bud Id#13438371
Steps to Reproduce:
1-Press the startup button.
2-Loading circles appears on the screen,
3-Wait more than usual,
4-Then, before Login window (only one user and its admin login) appears, screen view crashes for a few secs.
5-After few secs screen view back to normal and login window appears.
Please check for more details about startup screen crashes

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested.
Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

I have a problem after update my iphone4 from ios5.0 to ios5.0.1, my wallpaper default folder beacome black all icons, i still don't know how to fix this issue, also a lot of friends had the same problem.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

after updating Apple TV, iTunes store is always unavailable, the wifi connection is not stable, Netflix times out, and I get a black screen occasionally. I'm in the process of doing a reset to factory settings now - it says it will take 10 hours to download the latest updates.... so I'm waiting

I am also having problems since the latest update...
As soon as I start watching a film on my ATV2 the router flips out and restart it self... I can watch the movie for about 30 sec up to a minute, then it happens.
The system has worked perfectly up untill the update!
I can, without problems use the AirPlay mirroring feature and stream a film from let's say my MacBook to the ATV2 without problems, but as soon as I use the ATV2 as the "collector", the router restarts it self...

Define storage. Disk, Random Access memory or a combination. Installing software consumes some disk space but does not disable or remove RAM.

Note the date and time the problem occurred, then go to Applications/Utilities/Console and copy the log starting at the time of the crash. Paste the log in a reply. Please do not use a screen shot as they can be hard to read. If there are repeated runs of the same messages, please post only one run. Be selective about what you post and don’t post huge amounts. I just updated My Apple ID to a different one from Apple iTunes on a Computer, But in the current Framework --
there is a great amount of manual burden to go about and update each Device such as an additional iPad, and
changing the Apple ID for all of the iPad is not but Trivial ...
It would be a very End-User facility for Apple to provide -- One Consistent mechanism where
     1. Update Apple ID from iTunes --
     2. Consistently propagate the changes across the different Managed Devices and all Apps ...
Such a Mechanism would of course be well within Apple's Design Philosophy !! Perhap's in the Next Update of iOS ....

If you have iPhoto from iLife '11, then I would first install it on your computer. In that way you would be able to get the new iPhoto free since you are running Mavericks.

You can restore from a backup.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
