I called tech support and I got the same **** canned response, backup and reset to factory settings. Yeah right! Everything was fine until Verizon shoved the software update down my throat. I finally unchecked the box in Wi-Fi settings for auto network switch. However, I still get the "Your Internet connection is unstable" warning no matter what Wi-Fi connection I hit.
In a related story, I received a new or refurbished phone as my original SIII had AC/charging connection issues. I called probably three times to attempt to back up my data, went into two stores in attempts to have them transfer the information over, and all were too incompetent and inept to assist me. Only when talking to someone about this Wi-Fi issue, did someone actually know how to back up everything. Of course by this time, I had to send the new phone back because Verizon charged me $400 before I got everything squared away. What a colossal waste of my time! -
How soon can you transfer iTunes accounts?
How soon can you transfer apple IDs on your device? I have two accounts. An old one and and newer one. Could I set my iPhone up wi the old one and transfer to the new one the same day?
You can logout of the currently logged in account by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and you can then log in with a different account (you can't transfer content from one account to another account). But if you turn on automatic downloads for an account, use iTunes match or re-download its past purchases then you risk tying your iPhone (and the same principle applies to computers) to that account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
If you want past purchases from an account, then do you have all of your content from both accounts on your computer's iTunes so that you can sync them over ? -

You've checked the purchase history on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727 e.g. you didn't have any pre-orders and/or auto-renewing subscriptions that were due ? If not then you've tried logging out and back into your account on your phone (or computer's iTunes if using that) ? after updating to firefox 8.0, can not send gifts or requests from farmville or cityville on facebook. (When I hit the send button I get an empty window titled "about:blank", which disappears and nothing gets sent. It works under internet explorer but not under firefox 8.0

After updating numbers and pages I can no longer copy multiple cells from numbers and paste and match style to pages. I used to be able to select multipule cells in a row (such as company name, address, etc.) then paste and match style on to a pages letter. I found the paste and match style option in the edit menu, however it will only work one cell at a time. Before the update is was working great.
For diagnosing purpose thy the procedure in a new user account and see if it works there. You create a new user account in the System Preferences > Accounts. If it works in the new account it is probably a corrupt plist file that needs to be deleted.

I think Nokia has updated NMT. If you are running NMT 1.3, you can check for updates from within the application which will bring the latest version of the application down but Still NMT 1.3 Beta.
But the web site has NOT been updated yet(Still no support for N78).

How Soon Can I Get an Ordered Book?
I have a sociological photo book assignment due this monday. How soon can I receive it?
I'm planning on finishing and ordering the book by Thursday evening.
I think i heard that i can choose either Priority mail or Express mail.
I'm sure priority mail is 2-3 days but is express mail overnight?Books ordered from your areas are shipped from Elk Grove. The iPhoto Book ordering window offers 2 shipping options--standard and express. The cost for the express was about twice that of standard, but the 'ships in 2-3 business days' statement was the same for both choices.
I have always used the standard shipping, and from the time I placed the order until receipt of the books has been about 5 days.
I think you are overly optimistic (and quite a bit unrealistic) to think that you can order a book on a Thursday night and have it to turn in for your assignment by Monday!
You CAN save the book as a PDF file and print the pages yourself so you can have something to turn in prior to getting the book:
Select 'Print' under the File menu bar. After the automatic 'Assembling book' you will see a print screen that has an option for PDF on the lower left. It is a dropdown bar, so you choose 'Save as PDF' and the location for the file. You can then print the file.

After updating my iPad recently, I can no longer use it to present PPTs using a TV monitor that always previously worked. The display mentions something about using AirPlay which I am not using or trying to. Suggestions please? I use to be able to rotate my iPhone and change the view of an image, Web page, email, and so on, from portrait to landscape, but after update, I cannot. I can only view in portrait mode. Anybody know what’s up with that?
You need to do the basic troubleshooting steps described in the User Guide, Appendix B.
Restart phone
Reset phone
Restore in iTunes using a backup
Restore in iTunes as new, without using a backup
If restoring as new doesn't help, there is a hardware failure in the phone that needs evaluation by Apple. -
