I'm hoping you can help. My MacBook notified me to update my Flash Player. However, After I did complete the update it still says Flash Player Out of Date. Can you please help me?

For some reason my Flash Player just started working. I had tried about 5 times to install it each time at the end it said my flash player is out of date. Suddenly it changes? Something is very strange about that.

Is there a way to disable Firefox from telling me that Adobe Flash Player is out of date?

We run a program that does not allow students to update programs or make any other changes. The problem is, Firefox thinks that we HAVE to update Flash Player every time there is a new release. This is just not feasible with as many computers as we support. 99% of the time, the update is not necessary.

They do have ESR version for Win/Mac at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html where it is mainly security/stability fixes.

Just like with Flash 16.0 the 13.0 ESR gets security and stability updates as Adobe was trying to fix critical exploits proven in wild as to why there were five updates in a short time. https://helpx.adobe.com/security.html#flashplayer
ESR means it is a version supported for a longer period of time compared to the main version at time. The first Flash 16.0 I believe was 16.0.0.235 released early December 2014.

Had the same problem (stalling at 25% or 30%).
This worked for me:
1.     Reboot computer or use Activity Monitor to force quit any prior Adobe Flash installation process that may be still running
2.     Download Adobe Flash update using this link (assuming you are using Safari or Firefox): Flash Player for Safari and Firefox - NPAPI
3.     Mount flash player by clicking on flash drive icon on desktop
4.     Right click on Flash file
5.     Choose 'Show Package Contents'
6.     Open 'Contents' then 'Resources'
7.     Run file 'Adobe Flash Player.pkg'
8.     Reboot computer.

Why does F.F tell me that the Flash Player download is not a trusted site and why when I look at system it tells me I'm using W.XP when its W.Vista/

I have been using I.E 8 with Yahoo and I updater to I.E 9 and it said that I was a trusted site and then I started having problems with Adobe Flash Player. I changed over to M.ff and now when I go to Mozilla Updates it downloads and then a warning pops up not a trusted site or Unidentified source. I have also noticed that my Toolbars change when I restart or new start my Desktop? I am using Frontier Secure and I get "Harmful Website Blocked" or other warnings that I never gotten before. Is there anyway that a Security Tech. can log in to my system like LogMeIn or another site to show me what is going on with my system? I have spent hours configuring my system and done everything to make it run right. Also I have Flash Player installed on my system but when I run something it tells me "Please install Flash Player? Also why does it say I'm running XP when I typed in windows Vista?

I've seen a RASH of posts in the Adobe Flash Player forums since the 2/4/2014 update, especially with Snow Leopard.

I have a disclaimer that says my Adobe Flash Player is out of date and needs to be updated. I have been trying to figure this out for 2 days, which is a waste of time, and I chatted with Adobes Customer Service department who said they can't help me

because it is a free application. They referred me to the Forum (which I have tried many times) but to me that is like a dog trying to chase the tail. I was flooded with offers of new services from $10. to $49. per month - and my audio/video for Facebook, NYT and NPR are "blocked" with the advice to "upgrade " my Adobe Flash Player - for which there does not seem to be any customer support. Firefox constantly asks me to update as I am using an old version, however after I update it still tells me that I need to update WHY?

I was asked to update my version of Firefox a few weeks ago when I opened my Google email account. This I did and downloaded Firefox version 7.01 and installed it. As soon as I reopened my Google account, it told me again that I need to download the recent version of Firefox, which I did again, thinking that there was a more recent version, but once again there was Firefox 7.01. This I have done 3 times now and still my laptop and Google main tells me to download the most recent version, what do I have to do to stop this ridiculous scenario?

Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.
