After updating itunes ti wont work anymore

hey, i hav had my ipod scince the end of july and hav never had any problems with that or itunes until recently. After updating itunes a message came up when i tried to use it after the instalation saying files are missing and to reinstall itunes, which i have done repeatedly which have not worked, i hav tried many various strategies to rectify the problem with no prevail, could someone please help me with this as i dont know a lot about computers as i am only 15.

Delete the file "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\SC Info\Sc Info.sidb"
If you don't know how to get there, then go to Start, then Search, and search for "Sc Info.sidb", then delete it from there.
After deleting that file, restart you computer and then try running iTunes again.

I need these Devices because they are my only network access via the Asix USB to Ethernet Adapter.
After the installation I have compiled and used the drives for the Asis adapter.
The both other devices are my USB Keyboard and Mouse.
2. My other problem is, that after the update my resulution of my console is very weak, this is just bad but not a real problem, I can live with that.

After updates, iTunes store stops working

Everytime iTunes has an update, my iTunes store stops working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 14 times. This happened to me the last two time there was an iTunes update as well as this time with the 10.5 update. I have noticed that when I unistall, Quicktime isn't there. Could this have something to do with it?

Myself as well, have been having this same problem, around 20 minutes into any movie I open up in my itunes library, the sound stops playing. I have yet to find any fix for the problem, although I have a thought that it is probably something to do with the buffering. My songs play just fine, all day long, but any movie only plays for 20 minutes and then the sound goes out. Additionally, I had another issue that kept popping up an error message everytime I tried to open Itunes, this was finally fixed via copy paste a corruptted (spelling) .dll file. The only "workaround" for this issue, that I have found, is to open the movie in QuickTime, even though I am not really excited about the QuickTime player. If anyone finds a better solution, please drop a line. thank you in advance.

Yesterday I updated my Itunes account and it stopped working. None of the solutions mentioned in this forum work for me. I've not ever had a problem with your software before. I installed and uninstalled itunes 3 times. No itunes directories exist. I've uninstalled everything labled Apple on my pc withe the same results. The problem is with your software not Windows.

My ipod classic everythime I plugg it in freezes itunes and I dont even see it appear in the sidebar of itunes. The ipod still charges and has good battery. When it all started, it also erased all the songs off of the ipod so I ant even use it now. here are the stats

I also had this problem last week. in the meantime, I have upgraded Itunes in Maverick. when i connected this am - it took about 15 minutes for the connected iPod to show in itunes with message " ITunes cannot read the information on this IPod" there was an "OK" button underneath the message. select OK. the iPod will show as empty onscreen and a prompt to reset to factory settings. I reset to factory settings - ejected iPod - restarted computer - connected iPod - ITunes then treated my iPod as "new" - for setup. now after sync - ALL IS FINE AGAIN...

My itunes wont work anymore on my latop, i uninstalled it and reinstalled it but when i try to get in to my itunes and error 7 message will pop up saying that it was installed incorrectly and ive installed it several times to find the same thing happening. I dont know what to do anymore so if someone could help me out i would really appreciate it a lot!!!

I got an upgrade iTunes request from Apple. And upgraded. I should never have done that. Now it says that "iTunes is not properly installed". Other strange messages are also coming up, like missing .dll files etc.
I have deleted all Apple programs. Used Revo Uninstall that also deletes registry files and left over files. I have used ByeiTunes and Registry mechanic. I have used everything that is suggested on this site:

After doing all this, I got the same error message. So what wrong with Apple? When you have bought the product, you are left out in the dark. I have given up. Synchronizing the calendar with Outlook I can do manually, pictures that I have downloaded to my phone, I can access directly, and pictures taken by the phone I have to send to myself through e-mail. Music I never download using iTunes.
I have had enough. After this and after Apple has changed the plug that leaves me with 8 useless chargers and stands, there will be Samsung next time. I'm running Windows 7, 64 bits.

I get the itunes has encounterd a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience error, no specific error number. I do not have QT installed,
not having QT installed is what will be causing your itunes error message at the moment. let's try a careful standalone QT 7.1 install.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

Home Sharing no longer working after updating iTunes

After updating iTunes on both my computers to version 10.7, the home sharing feature is now not working. One computer can see and access the other's library but the other cannot see its. I have checked the sharing preferences on both computers. Both have 'Share my library on my local network' and 'Share entire library' checked and neither are set to require a password. I have turned on home sharing from the 'Advanced' sub menu in the menu bar and both use the same Apple ID.
Any thoughts on how I can fix this. I think it is just a bug and should hopefully get fixed but maybe it's just me.

I'm up and running. Spoke with Apple and they had me go to : preferences, network and create a new location. That seems to have reset something. I had to reset all my devices back to my main network that had stopped working. The guest network will not let Home Sharing work, only the main network.
Others have been able to use Home Sharing without clicking "Done" after typing in their password. After you click "Done" the Shared disappears in iTunes.
Apple help people were GREAT!

After updating Itunes to 11.0.4.4 my sync will not work as it says there is insufficient space when nothing else changed?

I recently updated my iTunes to 11.0.4.4. After doing this, my ipod touch 4Gen will no longer sync as it gives me a statement about the system not having enough memory left to sync ["The iPod...cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional 2.73GB required)"]. It has 7.96 GB free on a 32GB iPod. It synced just fine prior to the update and I did not add more than 7.96 GB of files to the library after updating iTunes. Please Help! I tried the manual method. I was able to set the music/video to manual and then restarted the entire system. After restart, I re-attached the ipod touch to the computer. The sync automatically ran for everything that wasn't set to manual and it completed without a problem. I then reset the music/video to automatically sync and restarted the entire coputer/ipod set again. This time when I re-attached the ipod, EVERYTHING synced and there were no problems reported. I've never had to do this before, but I will keep it in mind if something like this happens again. Thank you for pointing me to the manual sync.
