After updating to iOS 7.1 calling no longer works
After I updated to 7.1, everything works fine except for calling/my phone number. iMessage and FaceTime only work when using my email but when people call me it goes straight to voicemail and when I call people I just hear nothing. The LTE works fine but I just have no bars. Is this a hardware or software error?

Mildly amusing that the instructions for force-closing a program are the IOS 6 instructions, which do not work on IOS 7.
Otherwise I'm having a little success with this. Some apps (not all) are updating. It seems that a few more apps update each time I go through the process (close everything, sign out, and either reset or reboot, then go to the app store, sign in and try to update all). So far it has been a very lengthy, iterative process. -
After updating to iOS 6, I can no longer connect to my schools wireless network. It uses manual http proxy. Now however a blank pop up comes up and it will not connect you. Thanks
Turn off your firewall and antivirus software.

I purchased three autobooks from itunes last weekend and after updating my ios to 7 they no longer appear. I looked at my purchse history and they are not showing in my purchase history. I do have the receipts for the charge. How do I restore these?
"I did make a full back up of my phone prior to updating the iOS"
Itunes content is not incliuded in the backup that itunes performs.
Audiobooks are not part of icloud and cannot be redownloaded.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception. -

With Yosemite you must be running iPhoto 9.6.1 which is a available from the App Store. If your previous version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll have to download and apply the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 to the library before opening it with iPhoto 9.6.1. As long as the memory pressure is in the green and constant and you're not seeing a lot of SWODs you shouldn't be concerned about the memory. Of course increasing memory will nearly always improve general system and application performance. But you didn't mention slowness as part of your problem. -
After updating to Lion my external monitor no longer works!
I used a external lcd tv to use split screen on my Macbook Pro. After updating to Lion this week it no longer works. First I thought it was my HDMI adapter but I have replaced it and nothing is still working. I've read that people using more than one problem have been having issues but i just have the one external monitor. Help Please!
I found a discussion thread here which seems to do the trick. Like you I've authorized, de-authorized etc, but renaming the files seemed to be the only thing that worked. Here's the detail:

After updating to iOS 8.2 calls automatically are routed to mailbox
Hi
After updating to iOS 8.2. my iPhone 6 rings only once and after that all calls are routed to the mailbox. I already rebooted by holding on/off and home. the problem is still there.
any idea?
thx
JuergenHi Raven,
sry, but I did´t talked about the "do not disturb" feature
@Juergen:
Here you can disable 4G:
Settings / Cellular / and than disable the setting "Enable LTE".
Cellular Data must be activated, than you iphone will switch into Edge or 3G mode!
Disable WiFi:
Settings / Wi-Fi / Disable Wi-Fi
I´m really "angry" and hope that there will be asap a hotfix available
Regards

After updating to iOS 5, the Photo album stopped working.
After updating to iOS v5, my iphone 4S's built-in Photo app stopped working.
The Camera takes a photo, but the photo disappears from the camera roll and shows no photos in the photoalbum.
My iPhone used to take photos so, I don't believe it is a hardware issue.
Is anyone having the same problem?
Would there be a update of the v5 to solve this issue?I figured it out.
In my case, I just needed to restore my phone to the factory setting.
My iphone = iphone 4 running iOS v5
My computer = iMac
Software didn't work = preinstalled "Photos" app
Symptoms = after I take a photo, the image thumbnail of the camera roll shows the image, but images are found neither in the camera roll nor in the albums of the "Photos".
Solution procedure:
connect the iphone to iMac
in the Summary window of the devices, click "Restore"
choose not to save the backup file
choose to restore the iphone as a "NEW" device instead of choosing a backup files*
follow the rest of instructions.
It helped and now I can view my photos in the photo album.
* However, I accidentary re-restored it with a saved backup file and the "Photos" application stopped working again. I repeated the resotre procedure avoiding the accidental restoration to a backup file.
The camera and the photos were working before iOS v5 update, and it is now working again. So, it is obviously not the hardware issue. It seems that iOS v5 and the Photos are having compatibility issue Apple should look into this issue. -
Iphone 5 back camera problem after update to IOS 8. Focus doesn't work on back camera!
My device is Iphone 5 64gb IOS 8.
I have problem after update to IOS 8. When i run camera.. I hear some scratch inside my phone. And focus of back camera doesn't work.
1. How can i fix it?
2. Or how to rollback to IOS 7+ ?
3. Should i come to app store with this problem?I'm having this same problem too. Worked fine prior to iOS update. I contacted Verizon this morning who advised that this is a known issue. They suggested I backup my device, and perform a factory data reset. When prompted to update to iOS 8 again, re-installation has been known to resolve the issue. With all the problems with iOS 8, camera, and overall device slowing, I might just wait for a follow on SW turn.

After updating to iOS 8, iCloud password doesn't work (iPad)
I posted this to the iPad forum as well but upon poking around here this seems like it might be the most likely forum to get an answer.
My primary email address is my icloud.com address. (Actually it is my old mac.com address, which, as you probably know, is now just an alias for icloud.com -- same thing for people who use me.com email addresses).
After updating my iPad Mini 2 from iOS 7 to iOS 8.2 today, it seems that it will not accept my iCloud password.
When I went through the initial setup of the device after upgrading to iOS 8.2, there didn't seem to be any problem. But once the iPad was in everyday working mode, it continually asks me for the iCloud password whenever I do anything iCloud related on the device. I have entered the password at least 40 times and it just pops back up a second later challenging me for the password again.
This password is working fine on my iPhone and iMac, so it isn't that I've forgotten the password or something...
Any ideas what is going on?I have the same problem,
just updated my 5s to 8.2 and neither iphone nor ipad are accepting the password.
i reset the password twice but nothing change.
i am not able to:
access App store
Access I-tunes
Access i-cloud
Buy from app store
or install from app store.
when i am triing to install a free aps it told me ottieni, then install when i press install it says ottieni again. bot on iphone and ipad2.
Moreover I have full access to i-cloud and itunes store via browser on pc with the same user id and password. -
After updating to ios 7, iTunes Match doesn't work on iPhone 4
I updated to ios 7 on my iPhone 4 last night.
I purchased iTunes Match today. Everything has been uploaded through my computer, and everything is fine on my computer's end. But when I open up my music app on my iPhone 4, I get a screen that says Loading iTunes Match... and it stays there for hours. Without ever having my music pop up.I have the same problem which started after I upgraded to iOS 7. It works particularly bad on the iPhone 4. It is in "Loading iTunes Match" mode most of the time with no or very slow progress, and when it finally ends, the uploaded Playlists are never there, not one. "Loading iTunes Match" would restart again after leaving and restarting music, say 50% of the time. Not sure what really is being loaded and can't understand why it has to be reloaded so often.
I had a problem ticket with Apple Support, but the specialist asked for a series of screenshots documenting the start time of "Loading iTunes Match" and the eventual completion time. I told him to forget it because I had already spent too much time turning this and that on and off for so many times in so many days trying to listen to my own uploaded music and I did not want to fiddle around anymore. I have decided not to renew my iTunes Match service in November, and have since turned off iTunes Match on all my devices and gone back to syncing to keep things simple.
I also have Amazon Cloud Player which is working just fine for the purpose of having some kind of cloud access of my music. I will be renewing this $24 service this month for another year instead of iTunes Match.
Apple was supposed to be very good at software development, and for them not resolving a problem in a paid service since the rollout of iOS 7 is just disappointing. -
After update to 11.0.3, radio no longer works.
After installing iTunes update 11.0.3, radio no longer works. This is the error "An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later" when you flip the triangle to expand genres (ie, "Jazz").
I'm assuming you mean Adobe Reader 11.0.1.
What is your operating system & version?
How do you "receive" these files, by email? If so, what is your email client? Can you download them to your local disk and open from there? -
I updated my IOS and now my phone no longer works. All I get is the Apple logobuntil the battery dies. Any suggestions?
Charge the battery for several hours. Then reset by holding the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
If you then see the USB cable and an iTunes display, follow the direction and plug your iPhone into iTunes. -
