After updating to iOs5 I'm having a lot of trouble with receiving and making phone calls

After updating to iOs5 I'm not able anymore to receive and make normal phone calls. This is very frustrating: when somebody calls me they have signal but my iPhone 4 doesn't make any sound or anything and when I try to make a call I don't hear any signal while phone rings at the other side. Sometimes if I turn the phone off and on again things go better but problem is still there. What should I do?

I just updated my Z10 Model STL100-3 with the new OS 10.3.2.2168. I now cannot answer incoming calls. The phone rings, but there is no screen displayed to answer or decline the call. I'm also unable to unlock while the phone is ringing. Once the caller hangs up the normal opening screen appears advising I missed a call and then allows me to unlock the phone. When placing a call, the screen does not change to allow me to end the call. Well, assuming you've waited the customary 48-72 hours, with plenty of reboots (including battery pulls), and this behavior is new, and the only thing that changed was the updated OS...then, the most common thing to do after an update that results in issues is to perform an OS reload. Sometimes, the update processes have errors and such...with a reload often curing the issues. I have been having a lot of trouble with the latest itunes update and my ipod classic 80Gb i.e. being unable to sync songs, but now i have no files at all on my ipod, it is completely blank when i view it from my computer. I need help, please, anybody.

As it says above, i have been having a lot f trouble with my ipod classic and the latest itunes update, i was unable to sync songs or anything to it and have tried every conceivable 'fix' i could find. i have run an itunes diagnostic and the results are posted below. a major problem is that when i try and view my ipod through my computer it displays nothing at all on the ipod, no files or anything, this may be the problem but i have no idea how it has happened or how i could resolve it.
This ipod holds huge sentimental value and i am loathe to buy a new one! If anybody can help it is greatly appreciated, than kyou in advanced.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

All of the sudden I am having a lot of trouble with Safari.

Rather then trying to explain what Safari is doing, are the Installed plug-ins updated when I do a "Apple>Software update?" I need to update Shockwave Flash 10.0 r45. Any idea how to update this other then using the download icon? I can't even find this program on Adobe's website except for the Shockwave Player that has been created by Director. Not sure if this is what I want to fix the issues I am having with a lot of websites that use a lot of interactive demos, 3D, Games, etc.
Also, is resetting the cookies something that would cause me a lot of problems with websites I use that need to identify me? (I ask because I was told to try "removing cookies."

what do you mean by; "sign-in details to hand?"
simply a record outside of cookies of usernames & passwords for sites that store such things in cookies - google, yahoo, apple etc etc all store some info this way. It's not a setting or os x feature, just a reminder to you you - make sure you know them before removing cookies.

I would ignore shockwave player until or if you arrive at a page you want to see that says "you need shockwave". Then if/when you need it, try installing shockwave 11 for intels
For Flash - go to Adobe Flash Download & get the latest one.
I'm fairly sure (having just used it there, especially) that Flash 10.0.45 isn't gonna cause you 'a lot of trouble' at nike,com. So likely there's something else amiss.
I suggest that you describe in more detail what the troubles are with nike/other sites, and whether or not they persist when testing briefly in a New User Account which is a good step in troubleshooting, since it eliminates everything in your regular account as a possible cause.

HI, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do so. Have you tried a hard reset? Press the sleep button and Home buttons simultaneously, until you see the Apple logo after about 12 seconds. Then let go, and let your phone reboot. You won't lose any information at all. That solves a number of hardware issues.

I am having a lot of trouble with my mac.

About a week ago I wrote a question about the flashing question mark when starting the computer. After many days of having that problem, I manage to make it work by unplugging the battery and when starting holding the option and shiftt keys. However las Sunday I manage to make a bak up of the information in my mac and reseted the computer. When I reseted the computer it was working all ok.
I have to make clear that at this time, the back cover had no screws in, as apparently without the screws it was causing less problems.
Once the computer was reseted and the software were working fine, I decided to put the screws back in. ( I had turned the computer off to put the screws back).
When I turned the computer on again, the question mark Icon on the file came up again. Reason which I turned it off again, unplugged the battery press the power button whilst the battery was unplugged to some sort of resetting. Plaggged the battery in and worked. It was only telling me that the date and time were back in 1/1/2008 and changed it to the actual date and time. After that the computer was fine starting up with no problem. I decided to ask my huisband to put the screws back in for me. ( I wasnt sure if it was me putting them back in very tight) when my husband put the screws back in, the computer started to play up again. When I came home from work I started to try and make it work again, as I had done before unplugging the battery and pressing the power button whilst unplugged etc. and didnt work. I called then to apple support, and he told me that it was a very weird case as the screws has nothing to do with the operative system or software. He told me that holding: comand +option+control+shift would do the same effect as unplugging the battery. However he also told me that it could be a problem with the hard drive as the file with the question mark was very frequent and that it happens when it cannot find the system to run. After talking with him, I tried the 4 keys as he told me but I think that in one occasion I release one of them and the computer turned on and I kept holding the 4 keys. After that, didnt start, so my husband told me to reset the compute again, and put in the "snow leopard" cd to reset the computer.
in addition to that and to top it off, when I was running the installation cd, it only goes to "select the disk where you want to install" but it doesn't show any disk to select and when I try to eject the cd doesn't work either.
Could the fact that I pressed and hold the 4 keys, command, option, control and shift at the time and I accidentally turn the computer on holthing them together have cancelled the disk or deactivate it?
I don't know If I have made my self clear or not. But need oppinions or if someone knows what can b wrong and what can I do?

It sounds like either your hard drive or the SATA cable that connects it to the motherboard are failing. This could be heat related in your case, which is why you see it after it runs awhile. You can take it to the Genius Bar for a free evaluation. If you decide to test it yourself, I usually suggest moving the hard drive to an external enclosure. If it works there for awhile, the cable is probably the issue.

My add-ons act like they're installed, but don't show up. This didn't happen until after I installed FF4, had lots of trouble with it, and had to go back to FF3.5.5. Suddenly my add-ons don't work. How can I fix this?

I installed FF4 on both my laptop and PC, but I kept getting kicked offline, especially from Facebook. I then uninstalled FF4 and went back to FF3.5.5 (on the PC) and FF 3.6 on the laptop. This solved my connectivity issues, but add-ons are now acting up. No add-ons at all show up on the PC, and only Personas show on the laptop. When I try to install Forecast Fox and Colorful Tabs, I get the "install now" message and the message to restart FF, which I do. When it repaints, the add-ons are just not there. I expect it's something I'm doing wrong, but I don't know what it is. Java is updated. Any pointers? TIA!

Having trouble with iTunes and your phone - try a new cable.

I got a brand new V3i a couple of days ago. I couldn't get it to sync properly with iTunes.
The symptoms included randomly locking up iTunes or not even automatically starting iTunes to begin with.
Eventually I traced the problem back to the cable (that nice black cable that motorola gives you with the phone). If you are having problems try a new cable before you blame iTunes - any mini USB cable should work.
I would be VERY surprised if I was alone with this problem. This sort of thing tends to happen in batches.

I can't send email after updating to iOS5

After updating to iOS5 I am having a great deal of difficulty sending email, something that never happened before. When I hit "send" I get a message "The connection to the outgoing server "smtp-server.maine.rr.com" failed. However the kicker is that after a period of a few minutes to a few hours, the message does go out. Help!

I would delete the mail account from your settings and re-add it. The problem is that the server data was somehow lost when your iPhone was upgraded.
