After updating to ios7 Facetime problem

After updating my wife's & my iphone4s to ios7 we both receive the same Facetime call simultaneously from our daugher who also updated her iPhone 5. How do we correct this so that an incoming Facetime call goes only to the one phone that was called by our daughter?

Uncheck the email addresses you are both sharing so only your phone # is dipslayed under Settings - Facetime - You can be Reache At....
Do this on both phones, and also for iMessage as well.

After putting phone in the freezer wrapped in kitchen towel to avoid moisture for 15 minutes. When turned on the wifi tab goes green and it identifies all available networks as normal,also accepts net work as normal for a little while, after about 10 minutes it shows as < Not Connected > WIFI tab is still green but no network is chosen of available. At this point if phone is powered off then upon turning on wifi tab is grayed out permanently, until frozen again. This proves that it is an heating issue with the product which was working fine until updated to ios7. My son has iphone 4s not updated to ios7, works fine and it is older then mine. Apple needs to own up to their mistake and sort this out.

Mute/Silent button is not working on my iPhone 4 after updating to IOS7. When I make my phone silent using that sliding button on the side, the phone toggles between mute/unmute position automatically and settles in unmue position. Then it will change state again if I shake the mobile. Did anyone face this issue?

I have this problem too - and it is on a BRAND new iPhone 6 - I have definitively tracked the issue to the moment I upgraded to iOS 8.1.2 - and am beyond frustrated. Re wifi:
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. After updating to ios7, I can't use imessaging and get notifications to connect to iTunes to use push notifications...I don't have a computer I can use to restore my phone...what do I do?

I have the same problem as you. iMessage has been "waiting for activation" over 12 hours now, and I get the same message everytime I use an app that requires notifications. You can restore from an iCloud backup, if you had iCloud backups enabled. Restoring the phone might fix it, but this is likely related to server problems which Apple usually experiences during an upgrade. Many people are having this issue.

Wireless printing - from shipping sites - not working after update to iOS7

I am no longer able to print shipping labels from PayPal or USPS after updating to iOS7. I am able to print emails, etc. from other sites online - just not shipping labels. Is anyone else having the same problem? Is there a fix?

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart the device.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then swipe the slider to power off.
Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Then try printing.

IPad won't turn on after update to ios7

After updating to ios7 on my iPad, it would keep resetting itself and show the apple logo until finally starting up. Over a few days this got worse and worse and eventually stopped working where I would have to hold the home and on/off buttons to reset it. I have now reached a point where it no longer starts up. Having went to an apple store they say they can't identify the issue as they can't start it up and offered me to pay £199 to have it replaced (how very nice of them). I have had online chats with an advisor and a senior advisor who have diagnosed this as a 'hardware' issue!!!
Guess what apple, no it is not, this is a result of the updgrade to ios7!!! My iPad worked perfect before and I will not be paying £199 to replace it!!!

I noticed that one person stated enabling cookies in Safari settings solved this problem. I too had this issue for about two weeks. Once I enabled all cookies in Safari settings, the little "AGREE" button became available in the lower right hand corner when accepting the new terms and conditions.
Shutting down no app helped me. The only way was to enable cookies in Safari settings through General Settings.

My ipad screen used to dim out after a period of non use, to save battery & screen i assume.
This dosn't happen automatically anymore after updating to ios7.
Overdrive dosn't work now, and Global News Skytracker is broken.
Also, bringing up the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom is difficult on the home screen and impossible from an app.
I would suggest to ipad owners who haven't yet updated to wait a while.

Problem solved-
I thought auto-lock had something to do with locking itself.
Actually, that controls the dimmer and self turning off function.
I turned it off by mistake.
Overdrive requires re-installation at the present time for users updating from old ios.
