You aren't likely to get an answer with that type of attitude. BTW, you are not contacting Apple on these forums. We are all volunteer end users just like you. If you want support, then call AppleCare and you can get one-on-one assistance.

Yes. I ran it successfully on Mountain Lion and had no problems when I upgraded to Mavericks. Be sure to apply the latest software updates.

I noticed yesterday that Pages and Numbers won't open existing documents.
I've tried to reinstall software, but no luck.
I've done no changes to my system, other than installing updates that have been made available.
I run iWork '09 on a MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2010, with OSX 10.7.3.
I can view the documents in preview, but I really need them to work as they are work-related.
What to do?

Sharing a printer with the MAC and my PC?

I have a great HP LaserJet printer that I use with my PC. However, I want to use it with my MAC too--have it hooked up to both. Can I do that and if so, how?

If its connected to your PC then simply share it. Make sure there is an OSX compatible driver for the printer. Install it on your mac first (you may have to go to the HP website for it) then add the shared printer via System Preferences > Printers & Fax. Click the + icon and choose from the options listed at the top of the window. You will probably have to supply the user name and password of the main account that exists on the PC.
You don't say which HP printer you have however if there is no specific OSX Driver for that printer (and sometimes there aren't) you may be able to get away with using a CUPS driver instead. Although this is not ideal. Its possible that you won't be able to use the printer at all because there is no driver support for OSX in which case you are probably looking at either getting another printer that is compatible with both or a separate one for the mac itself.

When I bought my Mac years ago, I purchased Pages on the app store. Pages and the rest of iWork has since been completely changed for the worst. I think we can all agree that it is a complete DISASTER. It's very dumbed down, templates were cut out, and stripped of its functionality. I'm not quite sure what Apple was thinking but fortunately for me and anyone else who purchased Pages 09' before the big switch, Pages 09' still exists on our computers and works fine. Unfortunately, I didn't download Keynote or Numbers when I bought the computer. Now that I want it, I thought I'd outwitted Apple and I decided to purchase the old iWork software on ebay. It installed "successfully" but when I went to open Keynote, it gave me an error message saying "check with the developer to make sure Keynote works with this version of OS X". If the old software for Pages 09' works, why wouldn't Keynote and Numbers? Please help!

I am getting the same exact error message, but I do not have Time Machine, so I cannot restore my system. I noticed that Pages would not load after I updated OS X to 10.7.4 on my MacBook Air. I also have an iMac at home that has Pages installed. I had not updated the iMac to 10.7.4 yet, and I was able to open Pages. I next tried to open the version of Pages on my iMac while accessing it remotely on my Air. It gave the same message. Do you have any idea how I can fix this?

I have placed items in the trash can and I want them restored to their original file folders. How can I do this?Ihave a Macbook with the Mac OS X 10.5.8 software on it.

Please help me. I know I can place them on the desk top, and return each file one-by-one, but is time consuming. I don't think "Put Back" is available in 10.5. Might try Cmd-delete (but if Put Back is not available, I guess the shortcut won't be either.) If the shortcut works, you must restore them one by one.
If they are not from your user, you do not want to move them first to the Desktop and then move them to their original locations. Doing so will complete screw up their Permissions. If these are not from your home folder and If Put Back is not available, you must use what will be the very tedious sudo mv command in Terminal for each. But sounds like they are from your user, since they are pictures.

whenever i try to use pages or numbers nothing happens, i can't get them to open.

There are new versions of Pages, Numbers and Keynote -- you probably need to upgrade them first? Let me know whether this works, I didn't upgrade to Yosemite yet, and I won't if Keynote doesn't work...

Got a new IPAD and was charged 200.00 for all apps previsouly purchased!. Has anyone else had this issue? I went thru the appstore and clicked on already purcahed apps and "installed" them on my new IPAD and got about 50 charges all at once from ITUNEs

After setting up my new IPAD2 I went into the APPStore and noticed there was an already purchased section, which showed all my previous purchases I had made and installed on my IPAD I. IT gave me the option to "install" them onto my IPAD2 and there was not visual "COST" associated with it and it never prompted me for a charge althought I had to enter my account password each time. Additionally I didn't get any emails like you usually do when buying an app. A few days later, BAM! 50 charges or so totalling upwards to 200 bucks with no description other than ITUNES on my bank account so I can't even tell which apps they were for. Is part of the public BETA cloud testing?! I hope to god not, it caused my bank account to go negative and now I have many NSF charges. I can NOT affort this. I know apple has a disclaimer "No refunds" under any circumstance. But as far as I"m concerned. THIS IS THEFT!

More update on y situation. Now on both the IPAD and IPAD2 I can not got to view my purchase History, it says it can not connect to the ITUNES store, but yet I can still d/l apps and can view my account etc etc etc.

As for the reason that a carrier does not report any up and coming updates because after a week of reporting the update coming users start demanding that it gets release now, look at the post about the devices that will receive ICS, users are already asking why they haven't received the update that they have been promised even when a release date was never reported.
And dont forget if they report that the release date had been changed or temporarily cancelled, this is when the lawsuits threats starts.

Hi, I tried to open my iWork suite tonight and kept getting an error message 'Pages cannot be opened because of a problem' followed by the text, below. Has anyone got any idea what I have done? What I need to do to get them back working?
Recently I did have a big clean up of my Mac Pro - which included drive renaming/home drive rename and relocation - all seems to be working fine for a few months until I've tried to use these applications for the first time tonight. Even restoring them from my Time Machine hasn't helped).
I'd be so grateful if someone can give me some useful advice. Thanks.
