Such an error is caused by some files that weren't updated successfully, so you are left with a mixture of files from different Firefox versions.<br />
There is usually some security software involved that protects .ini files against modification (update).
You will still have to do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a new copy of Firefox.

I believe you will find you can again sync Photos if you delete the "iPod Photo Cache", but predict that any subsequent attempt will fail. In my case, the enxt sync removes all the photos again - I've seen other reports of error messages upon sync. Mine just fails silently. :-) -

I agree with what FoxFifth has said, but I want to add a little to the discussion and put my own twist on the explanation.
If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen.
If you are running iOS 7, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the control center and the lock icon is in the row of icons at the top all the way to the right.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button -

A few days ago, I accidentally uninstalled it on my IPhone 4, and reinstalled it later on..
When I tried sending the activation code using the same cell phone number I had on Viber before It got uninstalled, I receive the code but when I try to put it in it keeps saying that I entered the wrong activation code, I click on the no code feature on the top right corner of Viber, it gives me a code, but when I put that code in it says the same thing ,that I have the wrong access code please try again, and so I researched on the internet and came up to this post, It said to uninstall viber and wait 24 hours to install it again, I waited 24hours and tried it again, but it STILL does the same thing. and... I even tried entering my other phone number, yet it does the same thing and shows me the same message that I entered the wrong access code....It is getting frustrating! May you please Help ME?! Yes lucky me . If all troubleshooting has been done in Resolve iOS update and restore errors and if you have at least taken it into a store where they could try a restore themselves then that would suggest a hardware fault with the iPhone.
If you are out of warranty then it is correct that they would quote you an out of warranty service fee. From here it would be a matter of trying the steps above and if you have already tried then doing the service when you do have the cash. -

The typical fix if the progress bar totally freezes - meaning no movement at all for more than 20 minutes - and iTunes will no recognize the device - is to try to put the iPad into recovery mode. That is explained here.

However, don't jump the gun. Keep an eye on the progress bar and if it is moving at all - even very slowly - let it go for a while. I'm updating my iPod touch first and the progress bar is moving but very slowly. -

After installing iTunes 10.4.0.80 "file" "edit" etc items from menu bar at top right corner disappeared -when cursor is put in that spot a darker rectangle appears - similarly tabs for syncing iPhone are invisible- and similarly small ovals appear when cursor is placed where tabs should be.

You're off the hook, Apple, and my apologies for stating that you let a dog run loose. You skated by this time, Apple. But I'm watching you.
But again, Putaro's reference to the plugins I had installed over the years turned out to illuminate the problem. I have several plugins in my iTunes plugins folder, pretty much all designed to add more visualizer functionality. I removed all of them, and ALL of the problems I noted in my post went away, with full iTunes functionality restored.
I began adding the plugins back to hopefully single out the culprit. Among the ones I had been using included fielder, G-Force, Timestrech, volcanokit, QuartzComposer, and Jax. I hadn't used any of them in a while - probably at least a verison or more back in iTunes updates, but iTunes continued to work with all of them installed. Currently, only QuartzComposer continues to work in iTunes 10.4. The rest no longer even show up as visualizer opitons, with one exception. Jax does show up, but does not work. AND THE PRESENCE OF JAX IS WHAT KILLED MY ITUNES.
I looked into it and went back to the developer, and it appears that they discontinued developing Jax some time ago - evidently, it was buggy and crash prone. I remember after buying it, having problems with it - having never worked to its touted potential, but I didn't pursue it, and never uninstalled it. Leaving it in there caused all iTunes functionality to cease with the iTunes 10.4 update.
If you've got Jax installed, consider removing it before updating to iTunes 10.4.
My iTunes is now working right as rain, thanks again to Putaro!

Seems silly to not allow a rollback from a file repository of previous app versions.>All apps are tied to the account that downloaded it, so to be able to sync back the previous version you would need to still have your copy of that version
I'm not sure I follow, I have not sync'd the ipad with my computer. I just saw an update in the app store and took it.
I tried to del and install the app from the purchased tab in the app store, that reinstalled v2.1 of the app. This also fails to launch.
I have made two service requests to the developer, no response at this time.
Is there somewhere I can download and install Remote Files version 2 file? I can only find the new version 2.1 in the app store. -

provide solution.Well I didn't enter a hostname from my ISP, but I did need to enter as a Host Domain the sub-domain (CNAME) that we use for our server. Don't know all the proper terminology, but I hope that's clear enough to someone to help. As soon as I did that, it worked again.

After updating to v. 24.0 (and restarting, several times) ALL add-ons (regardless whether they work or not) are marked "(disabled)". I tried clicking "Enable" button for each add-on and nothing happened. There is only one add-on which is marked as incompatible with this version (but it was also incompatible with previous version, and so marked).
Clicking "Update Add-ons", gives a short list of add-ons but "Install Updates" button is pale and doesn't work. I can only sort list by name or last update.
Also, I disabled Ask Toolbar and that went well. When I click "Enable" button (button works ONLY for this add-on) it takes forever to get note: “Ask Toolbar will be enabled after you restart Firefox”, I used to get this info in seconds time before this update. (I do not really want Ask Toolbar, I just used it to see whether if I disable and then enable an add-on might do the trick.)
Bottom line – I can not tell if add-on works (i.e. if it is enabled or disabled) unless I try using it.
Even when I posted this question and installed Troubleshooter, it's also marked as "(disabled)"You're welcome
