You can upgrade your OS to 10.6 with a Snow Leopard disk for $29 from Apple or any Apple store as long as you have 1gb of RAM and 5gb free space on your hard drive.

The new episode is called "Vampires". I edited the feed slightly and the new change shows up when I "subscribe". I have pored oved the archives and don't see anything about editing the feed to read a new URL from podbean that has the same exact MP3. Could that show up double for subscribers? (Same episode feed-unit, just edited to point to a new URL in my media manager). Or what about a new posting altogether after removing the old one that only shows up for subscribers? How could I make that go smoothly for my listeners? Thank you everyone for helping!The Store should simply read what's in the feed, but from what you say there may be something a bit bizarre going on. This isn't a situation I've seen arise before so it's difficult to predict what will happen.
It may be worth both you and the OP trying his suggestion of renaming the episode file, obviously amending the feed to match, and making sure that the 'guid' tag is changed as well (because that's what iTunes uses to recognize a new episode).
This will of course mean that subscribers will find themselves downloading it again, so you would want to balance that against getting it into the Store.
Either way this should mean that the next episode appears normally. There will be the usual delay before the Store updates. -
i have bought 4 new songs on my ipod touch from the itunes app, then i tried to sync my iod to my laptop after updating itunes to the latest version. My ipod will now no longer sync, what should i do?
- Try moving the backup file to a safe location so iTunes has to create an entire new one.. It is locate here and you may have to have show hiddn files turned on.

I'm using a macbook pro with version 10.6.8 installed. Whenever I try to install my software updates, it immediately asks me to restart my computer to finish the installation. After doing so and signing back on to my account, nothing has changed and no updates have been installed. It still says the same 8 items need to be installed, and the same process occurs again. Any idea how I can fix this?
You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

After having installed the Retina MacBook Pros EFI version 1.0, I have severe problems in waking up the MBP. It take up to 15 seconds until the MBP is operative. Who is resonsible for such a buggy firmare? What can I do to get rid of the firmare and bring the MBP back to speed?
I've got a Time Machine backup. I just want to change the OS, not my data or software. Can I restore as you say? I've been trying to read about it and I'm definitely not a Mac noob, but it seems difficult.

Printer not working after update on macbook pro
After updating my Macbook Pro to the latest version, OS X 10.9.5 I now cannot print to my wireless printer which is a Canon MG6350. The wireless connection to the printer is fine and the wireless connection to the Macbook is fine but they are not connecting together.

I installed a wrong version of Apple remote desktop client , 2.10 and the sharing menu under system preferences vanished. I tried to uninstall the Apple remote desktop with,

but no luck, but after restarting the macbook pro with lion 10.7.2, i see my sharing option enabled but when clicked, it says the system preference has to restart and confirming that it restarts in 32 bit mode and even after clciking the sharing option it says, "you can't open sharing preferences because it doesn't work on an intel-based mac"
. So i strongly believe the apple remote desktop is creating the issue.
Can someone help how to fix this please?
ThanksSame problem here. I manage several remote Macs, but I have one MacBook which I can get no ARD access to (black icon). I can ping the IP, I can SSH into the MacBook, the ARD and Remote Login services are checked ON, the firewall is OFF. The ARD service is configured to allow my admin user full access - however, I get nothing. I have no trouble getting into the other Macs.

Why can't I update my Macbook Pro past version 10.5.8?
My dad has had this macbook for a couple of years and has now passed it downn to myself. I have tried to do the software updates to get it running properly but everytime I check for new updates it says there are none available even though I know this is not true. Any ideas?

After updating my MacBook Pro to yeosemite I want my old desktop picture back. I did a full back up before the install. I found the "Settings" folder in Time machine but when I try to open it I get an error message saying "You can not open this folder. It is in TimeMachine".
Can you browse the Time Machine drive from Finder?
If you can and you know where the picture was stored ie on your desktop you can browse through the folder structure to the picture copy it and paste it somewhere on your new install before right clicking it and 'set as desktop background'
