After upgrade DVA doesn't show in AdminService Console.

I upgraded our GW2012 system and it went okay; aside from some issues the GWIA.
But, anyway, the GW2012 system had a running DVA, and after the upgrade it still works. However, the Admin-Console doesn't know about it. Under "Document Viewer Agent" there is nothing, only create new.
Is there a way to get the Admin-Console to see it or do I have to create a new one.

when you bought it, did 2 versions download? For a bunch of shows I bought recently, I got 2 versions - a HD version and a standard (SD) version. To make room, I moved the files off my computer. When I wanted to watch the individual episodes on my iphone, I'd move the SD version back to the computer, and sync it with the iphone. After the recent upgrades - snow leopard, itunes 9, iphone 3.1, something got broken. When I would transfer the SD versions to my computer to sync with the iphone, for some reason something would rename the files with a (HD) tag at the end of the file name (even though they were the SD versions). Removing that tag in finder was all I needed to do to make it work. Odd.

After upgrade to ios7 podcast shows wrong information on display in the car connected via bluetooth

Hello everybody,
After upgrade to ios7 I see very strange podcast behavior when iPhone is connected to the car stereo system via the Bluetooth.
When I play the first track it shows correct information about this track. When the first track is finished and I move to another track it still keep showing previous information about previous track.
I will appreciate your advise.

Assuming you are able to select and play podcasts from your car controls be thankful! Many of us can no longer control the playback of podcasts from the car controls now that Apple has ripped podcast support from the Musica app!
I have seen that behavior in the past with Music under iOS6 though. Not sure what caused it. A reboot of the phone and off/on cycle on the radio would seem to clear it up when it would happen to me.

After upgrade, graphic doesn't work more

This morning after having upgraded Archlinux with pacman -Syu with different errors, at reboot graphic doesn't start more, it arrive ad text login. Today afternoon pacman -Syu has found new updates on linux and nvidia, but this time, without errors. But at reboot the same error, graphic doesn't start more. About this error:
Open ACPI failed (/var/run/acpid.socket) (No such file or directory)
I created that file and rebooted operating system, but any is changed and files disappeared, but i can re-create it.
About resolution, do you mean this:
Users of older GPUs should consider switching to nvidia-340xx. The nvidia-343.22 and nvidia-340xx-340.46 packages will be in testing for a few days.
Enable testing on pacman and upgrade system with those files ?

Since recent CC upgrade, Bridge doesn't show colors of labels. What gives?

Just upgraded CC and all of a sudden all the thumbnalls in Bridge show white bars instead of labels on the thumbnails. When I go to the Filter I can select to view only those with green, red, or whatever, so the information on what the color is is there. Is this just my problem or is it a bug? This is the Mac version running Mountain Lion on a 13" retina display.

Thanks, Omke. You helped lead me to a trail that solved the problem, although how it came to be is not too clear. I thought it would be good for me to describe the specifics in case someone else encounters this.
Briefly, I have used the label colors for years, through multiple versions of Bridge, to help organize and sort through images. It has become second nature to me. I recently went traveling and came back and began sorting through and labeling my new images. Everything seemed fine, but in retrospect I was paying attention to the color of the label and not the name attached to each color.
Eventually the time came to do something with older files, and that's when the problem surfaced. All the labiels were white. When I looked at the filter panel, the thumbnails in the browser would be correctly identified by the text name of the color,but no colors would be displayed. For instance, if I selected the word red (but with a white circle next to it), only the "red" thmbnails would be in the browser, and the same for any other "color." So they could be identified, even thought here was no way to tell them apart visually by label, since they were all white. On the other hand, the newer files, although they had red or green etc under the thumbnail,were identified as something else. Specifically, red was "Selected," and other colors had other terms I can't remember. The transition was easy to find. All files labeled from October of this year to the present had the new monikers and showed colors, whereas everything before (back to 2006) were white.
So I went to the preferences, and lo and behold each color had a word next to it (as I mentioned above red was "Selected") instead of the name of the color, as it had been before.
It was much easier to change the newer files than thousands of old ones, obviously, so I changed the preference panel by typing the color names in to replace the other categorie names that some greater authority had apparently invented. Bingo, all the old files now had color labels and it was the new ones that were white! That was easily fixed by changing labels of the new files in the drop down menu to the appropriate color name (the colors names were unavailable until I changed the preferences).
Apparently, around the end of September or early October my preferences were changed, probably after an update, and I never noticed. Previously, whenever I updated Phtotshop/Bridge the preferences were carried over without any intervention from me.
So go figure.

After upgrade Digikam doesn't work .. missing libjpeg.so.7

Hi all,
After I upgraded to KDE 4.4 several things broke. As stated above DigiKam is missing libjpeg.so.7, this version of the lib is no longer supplied. The version I have on my system
is now libjpeg.so.8 (after a full system upgrade) The version of digikam is 1.1.0-2
The error I get when running digikam is:
digikam: error while loading shared libraries: libjpeg.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Anyone have any ideas why things are out of sync? I have tried upgrading with different mirrors, but to no avail.
Also, not on topic, my ability to shutdown,logoff etc from the desktop does not do anything anymore, this stopped working after the upgrade too.

simple, by using packages that are not supported and that should be the starting point. Is not a problem with the current digikam package but maybe with a dependency of digikam.
i suggest to remove that package (libpng12) and start finding the actual problem.
LD_DEBUG=files digikam > log 2>&1. grep it the log for libpng12, find out what files still links to it and pacman -Qo that_file

When I open Firefox (after upgrade) it does not show right side vertical scroller bar. I have to take the mouse and physically expand the browser to get the scroller bar to show. (never had this problem in previoius versions of firefox)

Firefox 4.0 on Mac OS 10.6.7 When I open Firefox it does not show the right vertical scroller. I have to take my mouse to the lower right corner and drag it open slightly and the scoller appears It will stay active through other tabs now until I close or shut down firefox. Once I reopen the same thing again no vertical scroller bar.

How to recover audiobook bookmarks after upgrade to iOS 7?

I just upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 and here's one of the issues that this brought up:
I used to listen to audiobooks in the built-in Music app and the app would show the bookmarks or a time-code where I left off listening to my audiobooks and begin playing from that same spot even if I switched to listen to something else in the meantime. I'm concerned now because after this upgrade it doesn't show my bookmarks anymore.

Had you backed up the phone via iTunes or iCloud? If so, the backup includes audio book bookmark in the iCloud and you will be able to restore that backup to a replacement iPhone.
If you had been syncing your phone to back it up, you can use 3rd party software like iPhone Bookmark Recovery to try to recover some of your data from your backup. However, if your audio books are not fully included in the backup (they are only backed up as necessary to maintain call favorites and recent call lists). Error UCD1038 regarding Movement Type after upgrade

During testing for the BW upgrade and implementation of BPC, the SEM-BCS data collection resulted in an unexpected and unnecessary error: Maximum selection does not contain value 600 of subassignment Movement Type; Message no. UCD1038.
Both before and after upgrade the task log shows Source records with the movement type but with no value in transaction currency, local currency and group currency. But after the upgrade these records also appear in the Target log where there had previously been excluded.
SAP Note 1583871 was implemented without any noticeable improvement.
The SEM-BCS data collection uses load-from-datastream with a source databasis that is virtual cube reading data from the ECC leading ledger. The source data is unchanged and before the upgrade the error did not occur.

HP 5550 web server doesn't show all required tabs

Good afternoon!
I have an issue with web server on hp 5550 Laserjet. Everything was good, but after reboot, it doesn't show all tabs such as "Information", "Setting", "Networking". It shows only "Home" and "Networking"...
Do someone know how to fix this issue?

P780 signal issue after upgrading build number

Recently i had upgraded build number P780_ROW_8G_S227_141121 after upgradation both sim card showing no sim signal on handset
how to solve this problem please suggest .even factory restore password not accepting .

I think you confuse standalone dbconsole with centralized gridcontrol. There's only ONE command to start database control: emctl start dbconsole. This command will start the integrated agent,too. No need to start the agent separately.

New Superdrive doesn't show up in System Profiler

My old superdrive died on me, so I ordered a new one from powerbookmedic.com.
After installing, it doesn't show up in System Profiler. I've quadruple-checked the connection and I can hear it make regular healthy sounds when booting up so I know it's getting power but once I'm inside OSX; nothing.
I tried resetting the PRAM and SCM as recommended on this forum for various superdrive trouble. Although it didn't change anything and I'm guessing don't apply here.
Any tips for getting OSX to recognize my drive?

It's equipped with a SATA drive - that's why.
