After upgrade ECC to EHP4 errors appears (STMS tp check)

Configuration
Two dialog instance. Central instance works on cluster node. DI works on standalone server. Message server and enq server is separate instanse(ASCS) installed on windows cluster

This error happens only on DI installed on standalone server. If checks tp is started on central instance than error does not appear.

Check few points:
1. Is DI installation is domain installation ?
2. Is DI standalone server is a member of domain ?
3. Are you able to ping and connect (telent) to system "clusterpqua.internal.russ-ergo.com" on port 3300 ?
4. Are you able to access share "
clusterpqua\sapmnt\trans" from DI Server ?

Dear All,
My company just upgrade ECC 6, but when I test it with AFAB,
test run
System gives message:

No documents were created in this run
Error Log:
Number range 30 has not been created for document type AF.
Message no. AA738
Diagnosis
No valid number range interval has been created for document type AF.
Procedure
Specify an interval for number range 30 in the year 999 for company code .
Please help me.

Hi,
Kindly check in transaction FBN1 for Company code and number range 30 whether external number flag tick is marked or not. If it is marked , remove the same.
In ECC 6 above mentioned tick for external number flag is not required.
and later maintain number ranges for current period.

Cannot install HP support assistant after upgrading to windows 7 error 1316

After upgrading to Win 7 from Vista I am unable to install the HP support assistant. First I get this error: Error 1316 The specified account already exists. After clicking OK I get the following error msg: Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation. Consult windows installer help (MSI CHM) or MSN for more info. This is then followed up with the following msg: HP support assistant not installed successfully. An error occurred during the installation: -3 Then it rolls back the installation and will not install. HP support assistant was working under Vista.

Did you first go to the Control Panel and make sure that the HP Support Assistant software was not listed (uninstalled)?

After upgrading to Lion, Printer error messages.

After upgrading to Lion, I suddenly see the following error message whenever I print to my HP printer: "You can't open the application PrinterProxy because PowerPC applications are no longer supported." Now, my document will print, but I can no longer adjust settings. Help??

PowerPC applications are no longer supported under Lion. If you can't find Lion drivers on HP's website, you either need to go back to Snow Leopard or start looking for a newer, compatible printer.

ARM approval error after upgrading to SP14: Database error while using the secure store.

Dear GRC experts,
After upgrading GRC 10 to SP14, assigning manual passwords during the approval of a request, the approval process is failing.
Here is the scenario; your advice will be appreciated.
Task: Manually assign passwords to multiple systems contained in the request
Where: On the access request, go to “User System Details” tab
Issue: After approving/submitting the request, the error “Database error while using the secure store” is generated
Logs: Nothing on transactions SLG1 or ST22; however ST11 shows the error attached below:

Other scenarios executed as a workaround, and passed the password assignment this time:
The approval will work if only one password is assigned to any of the given systems. The rest of the systems get an auto-generated
password.
ARM also accepts multiple passwords when the requestor assigns passwords on the “User System Details” prior submitting a
request. The GRC admin can approve once reached for system approval.
AS FYI, “Confirm Password” is only required when creating the request but not on any other stage.

Hi,
Close the App Store app and the iTunes app by pressing the Home button twice, and swiping them up.
Then go to Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data
Open the apps again.
I'd recommend as well to sign out and in using Settings > iTunes & App Store

Problems watching Sky Go after upgrading to Windows 10 [error t:3142 / c:4110]

Hi all. I upgraded from the Windows 10 preview to Windows 10 full this morning, and I havnt been able to access Sky Go since. I'd just like to point out that this is not a registration problem with my devices which is commonly reported from people upgrading to Windows 10, and I have added the laptop to my list of permitted devices. It worked perfectly fine just yesterday, but now it won't work at all. Whenever I try to view a channel, I get a message saying "Apologies, this item has been interupted due to an error. Please refresh your page and try again later. [t:3142 / c:4110]". I have tried it on both IE and Firefox and still have the same issue. It might also be worth mentioning that I have the same problem when trying to watch TV on the BT Sport website which also uses Silverlight. I have spent 40 minutes talking to the Sky helpline this morning but made no progess and thought I would try my luck on here. Does anybody have the same problem/ have any suggestions? Thanks.

Things to try:
· Rebooting your PC/Mac
· Using another browser
· In Windows run your browser as administrator
· Mac users - confirm your account rights - make sure admin appears under the current user.
· Mac users - add go.sky.com in the parental controls section from the system section
· Add go.sky.com to trusted sites
· Uninstall/reinstall the Silverlight plugin
· Disable Win10 Audio enhancements
· Disconnect any peripheral audio devices (headphones, microphones, headsets etc…)
· Reinstall/upgrade audio drivers. Make sure that your audio drivers are compatible with the OS and Microsoft certified.
· Try Silverlight V4
· Reinstall the PlayReady runtime.

After upgrading to Firefox 9, it appears that I have lost the bookmark section of my toolbar. How can I retreive them?

I chose, unfortunately, to update my Firefox to a newer edition (9), and after restarting, I noticed that my regular upper toolbar on my homepage (TimeWarner RoadRunner) appeared totally different and no longer contained my "bookmarks" tab, where I had stored dozens and dozens of important bookmarks. How can I get that back, or if necessary go make to my older version of Firefox, and restore my previus settings and features?

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar

After upgrading to Lion blue screen appears at start up have to reboot to log in

I have been having issues when I first downloaded and installed Lion it installed then when it rebooted a blue screen would appear and nothing would happen. I rebooted the system and it came up. Now I installed the latest software update and the same thing happend did the same steps. Yesterday I had to boot my computer up twice for it to get to the lion login screen. I have called apple and their resolution is to wipe out and restore from time machine. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Sounds like directory damage of some sort. A few options.
1) Buy Diskwarrior. Probably the premier tool for directory repair. There's a download version but it needs to be run from a booted drive which it seems you don't have. You can wait for delivery of the disc which will allow you to boot from the disc and run the application.
2) Buy an external firewire hard drive. Get one big enough for future backup use. Meanwhile, install a new version of the operating system on that drive, boot from the drive and see if you can even see the files on the main rive. If directory damage isn't too bad you may be able to copy critical ones, though the problem with directory damage is you don't know if you're copying a damaged file. That's when just getting Diskwarrior first may just make more sense.
OSX doesn't let you make a bootable disc just by copying files onto a CD the way OS9 used to. There's a utility called CloneX that does this, but I haven't tried it. Usually what you can do is clone hte internal drive to an external drive as part of backup. The cloning places a bootable copy of the OS onto the external. Simply dragging OS files across no longer works.
By the way, the external drive has to be Firewire in order for it to be boootable. USB is okay for backup but you can't use it to boot an older computer in an emergency (new Macs are okay).

ITunes won't load after upgrading to Mavericks. Error 13010. I have tried deleting the Genius library file, still no luck.

I found some feeds where people had deleted the genius library .itdb and were able to fix the problem. It did not fix mine. Still unable to access iTunes!

The option key... I've been holding down the command key... No wonder that didn't work. I should really be writing this stuff down!.
Regardless, Downloading and reinstalling iTunes did the trick.

After Upgrade to SLES11SP2, we're unable to print checks in PRODUCTION

DB - 11.2.0.3 - s390/System Z - SLES11SP2
APP - 12.1.3 - Linux x86_64 - SLES11SP2
This past weekend, we upgraded our PRODUCTION operating system from SLES10SP3 to SLES11SP2.
Ever since then, we've been having issues with our printing.
Check printing is all messed up........garbage is printing and it appears that Doc 761566.1 is not updated/current for SLES11SP2.
This O/S upgrade has been a total bummer.......
If anyone (including Hussein) has any ideas or has been down the SLES11SP2 upgrade path, I would love to hear from you.

This OS is supported as per the doc " 11 - SP2 or higher (64-bit)1" however you need to do additional upgrades as mentioned in (After Installing or Upgrading) section in the same doc.

Items greyed out after upgrading and migrating to Sharepoint 2013 - Open and Check Out + Manage Document Option

Following a migration to SharePoint 2013, the follow options have been disabled (Open and Check out + Manage) (see below). These are critically important functions and make it very hard to make SharePoint a useable interface. Any guidance on how to resolve
these issues is greatly appreciated. This is not a branded website, and there has been no changes made to the standard interface.

I'm not sure what the easiest way is either. First, I would try to create a new site collection with a new library and see if you get the same behavior. If not, then its something in the upgrade process. If it does that also would point
to something being wrong in the way that javascript is being executed.
If it is happening everywhere I suspect you'll have to start tracing javascript using something like IE developer's toolbar to see why the status on those buttons isn't changing when you select a document. I'm not sure what else to suggest.

Look-up error after Upgrade

Hi,
The R/3 system in our project was upgraded from 4.6 c to ECC 6. After the upgrade we are facing issues with the lmapping look -up.
We have used RFC channel to do look up and and java codes which calls the RFC and dose parsing.
Right now after upgrade , there is no error in the channel ...but the XI is not able to do retrive value from the new system.
for the values it says , it does not exsist in the look-up table, although that is not true, the values are there in the system.
can you advice what went wrong and what steps should i take .

Did you checked that RFC is working fine in R/3 itself and try to post the same request and check
other options can be debugging by setting external break point
If above wont works check the roles if any required for executing RFC remotely
