After upgrade System Apache can't start

Hi i work with php5, apache (default) and mysql on my MacBook Pro...
This weekend i have installed the last upgrade of system, but now my server apache don't start..
If i try to start/stop/restart apache from terminal i get this error:
cbmac:~ cbmac$ apachectl start
launchctl: CFURLWriteDataAndPropertiesToResource(/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache. httpd.plist) failed: -10
org.apache.httpd: Already loaded
cbmac:~ cbmac$ apachectl restart

cbmac:~ cbmac$ apachectl stop
launchctl: CFURLWriteDataAndPropertiesToResource(/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache. httpd.plist) failed: -10
the content of the file org.apache.httpd.plist is :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

<string>-D</string>

</array>
<key>SHAuthorizationRight</key>
<string>system.preferences</string>
</dict>
</plist>
I have already repaired the files permissions with Disk Utility, but without resolving the problem.
I don't know what to do, someone have idea?
Thanks in advance
Manza

I also have the same error:

But may have found a solution here in this thread ( Comment by 'parndt' ):

I havnt tried it yet, As I spent half of yesterday, formatting, then trying to compile Apache, php, mysql, openssl on on a seperate partition, but changing the Apache LAYOUT config, yet the mac wouldn't listen to my changes and kept trying to use the original broken version.
I am formatting now, and going to try on a clean install, so will let you know.

    Hey there,

    Otherwise, try deleting this file. com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist located at /Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag that .plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash, empty the Trash and restart your Mac.
    Have you tried resetting your widgets by hitting Command-R? If that doesn't, work trying trashing the two dashboard preference files.

    After upgrading to Lion can't get Boot Camp to work! Just get "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition". Anytone?

    This message, and threads like yours got asked daily for over two years, now it is only a couple times a week!!
    Is it so hard to follow through? you were to have backup already, clones are best, then erase/format and restore.
    Then partition.
    Some have been able to use Disk Utility booted from OS X DVD or another drive, and repair the drive.
    You have to use Boot Camp Assistant (99.9% anyway) to create and achieve a proper Windows Master Boot Record partition.

    Are others having the same problems?

    Try this. Worked for me.
    - turn off your router
    - turn off you Mac's after removing all available printers
    - turn off all iDevices
    - do a factory reset of your printer remove all cables min. 30 sec.
    - turn on your router first
    - ran the network set up wizard
    - give your printer also a new name like "DeskJet 2015"
       Something which you don't have used before.
    - turn on your Mac's and add your printer
    - turn on your iDevices at least.
    Should work after these steps.
    It worked for me including all iDevices.

    FYI, the latest installation CD version is "2010.05". It's best to use the latest. Get it from http://www.archlinux.org/download/
    I'm not sure but I believe all other LiveCDs are custom made outside of the official Archlinux development team.
    I recommend downloading the CD I mentioned and follow this guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginners%27_Guide
    I've installed arch many times on different hardware and the only time I lost mouse and keyboard was after I removed "10-evdev.conf" and "10-quirks.conf" from /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/. I copied both back from backups, rebooted and m&k were functional again. My guess is  "10-evdev.conf" was the file I needed. Check both these files exist.

  • How to register Final Cut Studio after upgrading system?

    After upgrading my system and changing to a new G5 Final Cut Studio lost Registering Info.
    Always after around 5 times booting Final Cut I have a dialog box, that I have to register.
    But the "Register Now" button is not aktive!
    What to do?
    G5 2x2 GB 1,5 GB RAM Mac OS X (10.4.7)
    G5 2x2 GB 1,5 GB RAM   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

    Make sure you have filled out all the fields
    If I remember right, there is one field that is left blank (can not remember which one). Fill that one in, and the register button should become active.

  • After upgrading iTunes I can no longer play my songs.  It says that "The song  ________ could not be used because the original file could not be found.  Would you like to locate it?"   I have NO clue where to look.

    After I recently Upgraded iTunes I can no longer play any movies or songs.  It says that "The song ______ can no longer be playe because the original file cannot be found.  Would you like to locate it?"   I have no clue where to look as I'm not tech savvy.  I did look in previous itunes libraries file and it's empty.  Any and all help is appreciated.

    The links below illustrate how your iTunes should look if you use default settings in preferences.  If you don't use those settings then you have to know what you're doing.
    Image of folder structure and explanation of different iTunes versions (turingtest2 post) - https://discussions.apple.com/message/13025536 and https://discussions.apple.com/message/17457605
    The above links also illustrate the Media folder and its subfolders.  Look for a file in there in the logical structure by folder artist and album.  If you're lucky, linking one file will get an offer to link others and it iwll all come together again.
    I see you are running OSX 10.5.8  it would help to know which version of iTunes you use now and which one you used before.

  • After upgrading to ios7 can't play an audiobook with the music app.

    After upgrading to ios7 I have been unable to play an audiobook from the Music app. I am also not getting a clean sych. The ipad goes through the sych steps through step 8, but just continues to sit waiting to apply changes.Any idea as to what the problem might be? Can I reload ios7?

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
     Cheers, Tom

  • After upgrade to Apache 2.4, Invalid Mutex directory in argument file:

    I've just upgraded to Apache 2.4, and when I try to restart Apache (using systemctl), I get the following error:
    AH00526: Syntax error on line 21 of /etc/httpd/conf/extra/httpd-mpm.conf:
    Invalid Mutex directory in argument file:${APACHE_LOCK_DIR}
    Originally, the line read
    LockFile "/var/log/httpd/accept.lock"
    and I was getting an error on the invalid command. A search suggested
    Mutex file:${APACHE_LOCK_DIR} default
    which is how the line reads currently.
    So what is that line supposed to read? Or does it read correctly and there is another problem?
    Doug

    Hi,
    Based on your stack you are using the form of XmlContainer::deleteDocument() that does not take an XmlTransaction, which means it will automatically create one for you (assuming a transactional container, which is also the case here). That transaction is most likely hanging against another transaction that you probably have not yet committed in your current thread. That's my best guess anyway. This sort of issue could have been a latent bug that did not cause problems under 2.2.
    Regards,
    George

  • After Upgrade, Windows Service will not start automaticly

    I just upgraded from 10.2 to 10.4. When I did the Windows File Service, will not start automaticly. I can start it manually, after a reboot. Any idea on how to fix this?

    I am having the same problem on a clean install of Server 10.4.10, AFP & Web starts automatically on restart, but not Windows Service. This is the first time I have run into this, it starts fine on all other servers I administer. Then entry in /etc/hostconfig for SMBSERVER is set to "-YES-", there is no errors or messages of any kind in the console or system log, it just won't start.
    This complicated with the problem I am having on the same server where I cannot connect via ARD after reboot without someone there physically plugging a monitor into the video port first (another open post I have - http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=5850246#5850246 ). So, doing maintenance at off-hours is almost unworkable.

    Can anyone tell me how to get it to be able to run as user again. I've traced the problem down to that.
    Thanks,

    P.s. In never needed the '&' to run this. If it matters, I edited my bash rc to alias the command to just 'conky'
    alias conky='killall conky && conky -c ~/AccuW_2/accuw.Toronto.conky &'
    Ok, there's your problem. When you're running "$ conky -c ~/AccuW_2/accuw.Toronto.conky", you're effectively running:
    $ <insert 'conky' alias here> -c ~/AccuW_2/accuw.Toronto.conky
    Or in other words:
    $ killall conky && conky -c ~/AccuW_2/accuw.Toronto.conky & -c ~/AccuW_2/accuw.Toronto.conky
    Heh. Told you this belongs in the newbie section.
    There's an "-c ~/AccuW_2/accuw.Toronto.conky" appendage at the end that Bash doesn't know how to interpret.
    I guess I never noticed the problem because conky always autostarted. I deleted the line and restarted and everything works now. Thanks!
    Mods. move this to newbie or better yet delete it, it's embarassing.

  • After upgrade System fail to boot

    Hi,
    few days ago I did the system upgrade and after reboot i get several errors and the system doesn't boot, the first one in the list is:
    FATAL could not load "/lib/modules/3.0-ARCH/modules.dep" no such file or directory
    I think the problem is that in my /lib/modules/ dir there is no /3.0-ARCH dir but there is the 3.1.4.1-ARCH and the 3.1 extramodules.
    why that? Is this problem coming from the upgrade?
    also the network is not recognized
    and the RAID disks are not mounted
    the only thing I found on internet is this article:
    https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=129970
    but I cannot downgrade because the pkg dir is empty and I cannot connect to internet for get it
    can you please help me?
    thanks

    I found something maybe useful...
    in the dmesg I found that the boot disk is loaded as sdc but, I'm sure it was sda before the upgrade.
    in the menu.lst there is
    - title Arch lunix [/boot/vmlinuz.linux]
    - root (hd0,0)
    - kernel /vmlinuz-linuz root=/dev/sda3 ro
    - initrd /initramfs-linux.img
    do you think that changing something in this I can have back my boot partition?
