After upgrade to 7.1 not able to receive Text message

After upgrade my iphone 4 to IOS 7.1, I am not able to receive text message. I am able to send text message and also send and receive iMessage but not able to receive text message.

Try this: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. After that, check if you can already sends SMS

Are you entering a 10 digit number? Or, if it is not a North American number or you are not in North America, are you entering "+" followed by the country code and number?

My iphone 4 will not send and receive text messages at random times. My brother has the same phone, lives in the same home and doesn't have this problem. I can't receive messages without my iphone displaying a message asking for my phone number at random times. It happens intermittently. Does anyone know why this happens? I am referring to regula text messages not imessages. I have turned it off and also updated to the most recent software. thanks

I've been an AT&T customer since they were under different names in the 90s and have never heard/seen that. I would check with them. I'd really like to see that error. To get a screenshot on the phone, press the home button and sleep/wake button together quickly and release. You will see the screen flash slightly and hear the camera shutter noise.

After upgrading to iOS7, my phone sends out garbled text messages.

Since upgrading to iOS7, my phone has sent out a few garbled text messages. I did not text these people, it just appeared in my messages and the people who got them text me back asking about them. I even deleted a phone number from my phone, only to have a garbled text message sent to that person the next day. Has anyone else had this problem?

HTC Sensation not able to open text messages sent from iPhone4 iOS6

Up until I installed iOS 6, my friend had no trouble receiving and opening a standard (green) text message sent from my iPhone4. After the new install, his phone receives the message but as a text file that won't open. He hasn't changed anything on his end nor have I changed anything else, so I'm assuming this must be the culprit. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Thank you for any suggestions.

I am not able to delete text message(sms) sometimes

Sometimes, I don't know My IPhone 4G go weird, I am trying to delete txt message from message app. I said Edit and click on button it should ideally show delete button, pressing that would delete the text. But here it when I press delete comes and soon disappears.
Any Idea why?

If you phone was never jailbroken and you've done all the troubleshooting steps short of restoring as new, your only choice is to bite the bullet and restore as new. You'll have to decide for yourself whether the inconvenience of your problem is worth the effort needed. There are no quick fixes and ignoring it may lead to further problems.
Note that if restoring as new doesn't fix it, there is a hardware problem which needs warranty evaluation. You'll need to return it to Singapore as the warranty is country specific.

No longer able to receive text messages through Microsoft Sync

About a month ago I noticed I was no longer getting text message alerts through Sync in my F-150. I've tried deleting my phone and repairing it as well as a factory reset and nothing has worked. I've also noticed that when I stream Bluetooth audio it skips about every five seconds making the feature useless.

Pantech Crux not receiving text message but able to send text messages

My daughter has a Pantech Crux phone. and yesterday we noticed that she was not gettng any text messages. We tried the *228 update and turned phone off, while phone was on we took out battery then put it back in and powered on the phone and she was still unable to receive any text messages so we shut down her phone then took the battery out waited a minute and then powered it back on and she is still not able to receive text messages. she can send text messages & she can call out and receive phone calls but she can still not receive any text messages!! any suggestions we can do to get this fixed?? she is not eligable for a upgrade until April 2013 she will have had this phone a year in about 10 days. will they replace her phone under warranty where it has not been a year but almost by a week or two. We also did purchase the Insurance for the phone as well.
Any help from anyone to help me on what I can do to get this fixed.

I am having the same issue with my daughters phones. I believe its an issue with Pantech. My daughter has a Pantech Crux and is able to make calls, receive calls, and send text messages but she is not able to receive any messages. My other daughter has a Pantech Hotshot and is having the exact same issue. We contacted Verizon and went through all of the troubleshooting necessary and even reset the phone and it still didn't work. Verizon sent out a replacement phone today (Crux) and the issue is still not resolved. This tells me it's an issue with Pantech... maybe a software update was done?? Both of my daughters are teenagers and mainly communicate through text messaging, so I am sure anyone can understand that they are in crisis LOL. Any suggestions on what to do next?

Are you having trouble with SMS messages (green)? Or iMessages (blue)? Or both? What happens when you try to send a message? What troubleshooting steps have you tried? Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? Have you contacted your carrier to make sure everything is ok with your account?

Our scenario is IDOC ( Delivery ) to AS2 ( Mendelson ) . Not able to Receive AS2 message on mendelson tool. The tool is installed on the server .
Receiving the error :

No certificates are been used.

Is there a proxy placed to connect to mendelson. Can anyone provide inputs on this.

After upgrading E71 I can not reinstall the programmers I had before on memory card while I m able to install them if I choose phone memory
but for any new program which was not installed before the software upgrade I can install them in the memory card or phone memory without any problem

do the serach on the internet for all the applications that you want to install and are unable to do, get fresh copies of those files downloaded and try to download the new, fresh file applications to your phone this should work for you.

hi Jain,
you may need to check the transfer structures,
right click infosource and 'change', click 'comm.structure'/expand,
click 'transfer', move the 0BASE_UOM from left to right side,
or if you wont use the comm structure anymore, you can right click infosource and 'delete comm structure'
