After upgrade to 8.1.3 no sim shows on my ipad 2

My Ipad is 64GB ipad 2 GSM Model A1396. Upgraded to 8.1.2 and no sim shows and thought if i upgraded further it will help but it did not so upgraded to 8.1.3 but the no sim still shows. Thought i could downgrade but from my research is not possible so am in a fix.So now i cant use the sim but wifi and i my part of the world wifi is not common.

It is 99% hacked/jailbroken iPhone to use a different carrier than intended. You have to put the sim from the original carrier or ask them to unlock the iPhone. We as well as Apple cannot help you with this.

How do I get the Compressor option to show up again. I can always export to Quicktime and then use compressor but I loose the chapter points.

No, I upgraded to 7 and I found where the Compressor option went. I was used to exporting to Compressor, In FC7 you send to Compressor. Thanks for you assistance and time.

After upgrade to v6.1 DTM, it keeps showing disconnected when my BB is connected

Has anyone got a solution PLEASE? Since the DTM was upgraded to v6.1 no matter what I've tried the DTM keeps saying my BB is disconnected.
Things I've tried so far:
Unchecking USB power management/changing USB port and cable
Uninstall/re-install
Decompressing .exe file using 7-zip
I have a BB 9800 Torch and operating Windows 7 professional on my PC.

Upgraded to IOS8. Icloud docs not showing up on ipad. They are showing up on iphone and icloud. Help.

I am logged in with the correct Apple ID.
Under preferences for Keynote and Pages the "use Icloud" toggle keeps switching to off.

I am having the same problem. All my settings and devices are correct. My MB Pro and my iPhone 5 access my iCloud documents fine in the Pages app. But my iPad 4th Gen running iOS 8 does not show my iCloud documents when I open the Pages app. When I go into settings>iCloud there is no "Documents/Data"
setting. In fact I don't see it anywhere in Settings. So, I click on Settings>Pages and toggle the "Use iCloud" button and it continues to turn itself off.

Keyboard shortcuts stopped working after upgrading to iOS 7

Does anyone know how to make the keyboard shortcuts start working again in iOS 8? After I upgraded to I OS 8 on my iPad air, the keyboard shortcut stopped working. Is there anyone who knows how to make this work again? All the fixes online pertain to iOS 7 and earlier, and they're not applicable for iOS 8.

I lost all my keyboard shortcuts on my iPhone 5s after upgrading to iOS 8. They still showed up on my iPad Air (iOS 8) and iMac (10.9.5). There were, however, massive sync problems, sometimes they would only flow from one device to all the others, sometimes from one device to only one of the other two, sometimes not at all.
I deleted all my shortcuts and started from scratch, deleting “~/Library/Application Support/Ubiquity”, ~/Library/Dictionaries” and “~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~TextInput” from the iMac and KeyboardDomain from my iOS devices.
Rebooted everything a dozen times.
Toggled Documents & Data Sync off and on a dozen times too in all kinds of combination with rebooting and deleting the aforementioned files.
Everything always starts working and syncing fine for a very short while, but sooner or later one of my devices stops receiving new shortcuts as I re-add them.
I reboot that device and it catches up. I enter new shortcuts, and that device doesn’t get any new shortcuts. This time, a reboot doesn’t fix anything.
After using my devices for a while, I notice shortcuts are entirely gone from both the iPhone and iPad, but not from the iMac.
I even upgraded my iPhone 5s to a 6, and right off the bat it had issues with keyboard shortcut sync. I also setup my iPad as new, and same thing: right off the bat, sync issues with keyboard shortcuts.

Can't open the finder via applications after upgrading

After upgrading to Mountain Lion I can't show or open files in the finder via my applications. For example, after I download a file in Chrome nothing happens when I right-click and say 'open file' or 'show in finder.' After I export images from Lightroom it won't open the folder containing those images even though the 'show in finder' option is selected. I have to open the finder and navigate to the files manually. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences folder and trash these files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)

After upgrading from version 7 to version8 I cannot keep my ipad activated. I have tried online tech support and visited an Apple store with no one able to tell me what is happening. Some said it might be had ware problems. Other say it might be software problems. With vs 7 I never had the problem.. Itunes wifi sync does not work after upgrade to OS X Yosemite

After upgrade to OS X Yosemite itunes wifi sync with my ipad and iphone stopped working. After attaching the iphone and ipad with a cable, I could sync, but as soon as the cable was removed, the ipad and iphone disappeared again from itunes. And wifi did still nok work.

Apparently something is not being saved somewhere and this technique forces the save. Below is a C&P from another poster describing the technique on a different thread. It's been working for him for some fifteen hours. I tried it and it's been working but it's been only ten minutes. My gut feel is that quitting and relaunching iTunes are critical steps.
With the device connected via cable, click on its icon
Uncheck WiFi syncing
Click Apply
Quit iTunes
Launch iTunes
Check WiFi syncing
Click Apply
